Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Goat Island

We just got home from a two week stay, and what a luxury to spend two weeks in Julie's Mt Pleasant home. Julie is a thoughtful and generous host, and her home is clean, well appointed and filled with "extras." We have been to Charleston many times, and have stayed in the City, Isle of Palms, and Sullivan's Island but the Village is now my favorite place. It is peaceful and quiet, great for long walks, and an easy drive to the beach on Sullivan's Island or the City for amazing restaurants. But make yourself a cup of coffee and grab a book and sit on her amazing swing and you may not want to leave the house! We will definitely be back again.

Danielle's place was fantastic. The location was great and the unit was exactly as described. It was perfect for our family and our kids loved the backyard activities and golf cart. We had everything we could have needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Quaint little house that was perfect for our visit. My son is in Goose Creek for his Navy schooling so we wanted to be somewhat close to the base. The large yard was perfect for our 2 dogs. They loved exploring! We have family in Augusta so they rented another AirBnB a mile away. It was great to be able to spend time with family that we don’t see to often, and spend time with my son for his birthday and Easter. We hope to stay at Deborah’s place again next time we visit our son.

Was a great place to stay! Very cute and cozy. Although it was off a busier road you couldn’t really tell from inside and it felt pretty quiet. Would recommend!

We loved this house so much. We have three kids and it was absolutely perfect. The house was perfectly decorated with a bohemian chic vibe, the kids room was perfect! The owner is an amazing ceramic artist and we loved her pottery and her beautiful curation of art everywhere. The house was perfectly located in a prime spot that made it easy to explore all areas of Charleston and nearby beaches. We are excited to continue to work on moving to this area and hope to use this home again while we make the move.

This was the second time staying at Michael’s place. It’s the perfect location for our family as we were out visiting my nephew for his Prototype graduation from the Navy’s Nuclear program. The house was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. If we ever make it back to the Goose Creek/Charleston area, we will definitely stay here again.

There were 5 of us for a Bachelorette Party and this home was everything we needed! Great location, 20 minutes from Downtown Charleston, and it had everything we needed. Comfy living space, plenty of room, comfy beds, and plenty of extra linen. It was easy to find in a nice, quiet neighborhood.

It took us awhile to pick our Airbnb for Charleston, but we were glad we picked Bohemian Darts hosted by Brett. We came to Charleston for a girls weekend with long time high school friends. The price was reasonable. The location was excellent; we could walk to North King and easily drive into the historic section. The apartment is a single second floor unit above a design business. The apartment was clean and spacious with simple, tasteful decor. The kitchen was well equipped, including a drip coffee maker and dish washer (and 8 coffee mugs!). The living room was comfortable for four of us to hang out in between activities. Brett was quick to respond to the wifi/Internet issue caused by a local outage. Parking is available onsite for one car. There is a coffee/smoothie/breakfast/wine shop across the street and a bagel place a block or two toward King. We would stay here again! (and yes, there are darts, but we didn't play)

We really enjoyed our stay! This is a great spot that is conveniently located to everything you’d want to see in Charleston. The place was absolutely perfect for a family of 4 and allowed us to have some great downtime in between our explorations of the city. 5 stars! I’d definitely book this location again!

We had a great stay in Charleston. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. Extremely walkable location, with many restaurants, bars and activities nearby. The unit we stayed in was perfect for the two of us, clean, quiet and very private. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back. Thank you for everything Ashley.

Great location, parked the car and walked everywhere. Nice to have the patio and 3 bathrooms with a large group. Quiet location at night.

Location was perfect! Walkable to King st and a quick uber to anything a bit further. The space was perfectly situated for a girls trip, plenty of bathrooms and linens!

Mackenzie and Brandon could not have been more kind! We were not on vacation but had to vacate our new home because of toxic mold. At the same time our precious dog was at the end of her battle with cancer. The house was so comfortable and welcoming. We were able to leave the back door ajar for Marley. Our rooms were very comfortable, lovely towels and a well equipped kitchen. The washing machine and dryer were very helpful. The decor is inviting. It is a very pleasant place to stay and very close to Park Circle’s Main Street. I would highly recommend their home! Barb C

The location was incredible! Just off King Street but still quiet and comfortable. The porch was also a great way to relax. The checkout was very flexible so we could still enjoy seeing more of Charleston with our bags safely tucked away.

This place was perfect for a girls trip. The bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. The living room and kitchen were very clean and comfortable. It was in a great location. We could walk everywhere. You could hear the street traffic in the house, but the noise machines in each bedroom helped a lot so it really wasn't a problem. I would definitely recommend this house and would stay there again if I was in Charleston.

We stayed for two weeks. This condo was perfect. Just a few minutes walk to the beach, tennis and pickleball courts and the shops by the boardwalk hotel. It has great walking/biking paths throughout Wild Dunes. We had access to the private lagoon villas pool. It was not heated so was cold for swimming at the beginning of March. I did see a few brave children swimming one of the days. The condo itself was well laid out with the bedrooms separated on opposite sides of the condo and had plenty of room for hanging out in the living space in the middle. The whole place was clean and had everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Highly recommend. We would stay here again.

This space was great! Short walk to the beach, pool access, and all the beauty of the Sea Islands. Mona was kind enough to arrange an early check in for us. The space itself was spotless. The bed was comfy, kitchen had some essentials provided which is always helpful in a vacation rental. We also really appreciated that there were beach chairs, towels and beach bags available since we flew so we couldn't bring our own beach equipment. Mona was super communicative and accessing the space was easy. Note: don't follow the Google Maps direction the first time you come in so you can get your pass at the Residential Gate to Wild Dunes. Mona wrote that in the instructions but I still got confused and went to the second Wild Dunes entrance, not the first.

Had a great stay at Elizabeth's place. the place is just as seen in pictures. Easy to find, great location. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Loved the beach view on the balcony with our morning coffee. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay! Natalya communicated well and proactively. The condo was cute and well-maintained, and we appreciated the availability of a beach cart to help take our stuff over to the beach. We had everything we needed for several fun days at Isle of Palms!

The place was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. All appliances were in good working order. If anything, the pictures and description on the listing do not do it justice. The check-in process was seamless and easy. The location was great. The condo is within easy walking distance of the Isle of Palms restaurants. The primary bedroom and living room had great, unfettered views of the ocean. This rental was an excellent value for the money.
