“Dan's place was wonderful. If you are there with a friend (like me) and not a significant other, it is great to have the bedroom and the sofa bed option. Actually, both nights the bed in the sofa wasn't even used because the couch was so comfortable! One note that my friend is making me put in here-- if you are poop shy, just know that the barn-style door (which is adorable) doesn't hide much in terms of noise. Depending on how busy the weekend is (we went during the Charleston primary) and whether you're on a tight schedule, make sure to check Uber/Lyft apps a bit ahead of schedule just in case it takes them slightly longer to get to you. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to go visit Folly Beach, so I can't recommend or give any advice on that side of things. Overall, Dan's place was a great, clean, quiet, and pleasant place to stay. Would definitely recommend!”

“Guests can expect to be made part of the family at the front door. We felt welcomed from the minute we arrived. Henry and Heather were great hosts and you could tell they enjoyed having company. Their home was very comfortable and had many extras that made our rainy weekend still over the top enjoyable. They were super sweet to our dog and their animals were very friendly and fun to be around too. The exotic animals were neat to see as well. We truly felt like they adopted us for the long weekend as family! Thank you Heather and Henry. We'll be back--Kane has already demanded that he be reunited with his new furr friends (and human friends!) soon. He slept the whole way home without a peep.”
Belly up to a Polynesian style tiki bar and hear the soothing sounds of a babbling water fountain. Bamboo screening fences in a lushly planted garden with a fun outdoor shower. Inside is a cozy studio space with a kitchenette for making simple meals.
“This was a cozy and super fun place to stay! The tiki bar and backyard setup were great...adorable and very private. Being below a house, it was not always totally quiet, but that may have been from heavy wind during our stay knocking outdoor furniture around or something. All the thoughtful touches like snacks, a local guide to restaurants, and the fabulous backyard made it worth it!”
