Campsite vacation rentals in English Channel

Had a wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings. The tent was ingenious and the stove was absolutely amazing - pumping out heat. Perfect for access to the coast and walks. Would love to come again, perhaps with other families. We were the only people there and it was magically quiet (although the owls were not, but we liked that!)

Au Bonheur est un endroit magique et totalement insolite, les différents logements sont bien espacer les uns des autres, le calme et la nature règne autour de nous, et en 600 comme en train de bivouquer en pleine nature. En ce qui concerne l'accueil, on a eu l'impression de débarquer chez la famille ou des amis qu'on connaît déjà, tout en ayant notre intimité et liberté dans ce domaine. Un grand merci à cette famille très accueillante. Je vous conseille sincèrement d'y passer , ça vaut le détour.

We had a lovely week in very peaceful area surrounded by nature. The place was easy to find and very clean. Also gives you anything you need from fridge to dishwasher. The fire pit and the gas BBQ came handy too and you can sit outside even in a rain. The hot tub is nice bonus and the kids loved it. There are few lovely beaches nearby and a few local walks around the area so lots to do. Shops are nearby too. Communication with Matt was really good with quick response. Would definitely recommend! What a wonderful place for a quiet get away. Every little detail had been thought through. The accommodation was stunning nestled in the most beautiful grounds. We woke up to a woodpecker and feel asleep with the owls! The surrounding area had loads to offer but the house and grounds were so perfect we didn’t want to leave!

The quality of the accommodation is excellent and of a high standard, with the attention to detail plainly evident. We found all the essentials were supplied, tea, coffee, toiletries etc and a lovely touch. We are a family of six and found the quality of the beds, bedding, shower, towels, kitchen amenities, furnishings superb. The accommodation was roomy and comfortable even when it was chilly outside, with lots of heating options including a log burner to keep warm. Jono was on hand to check us in and give advice on local attractions. Thank you. This is an absolute gem and we had a wonderful stay. We hope to see you again. Jason & Denise

Could not have asked for a better staycation! Betty had everything we needed and more. Whilst we had the most amazing time in Betty, we also had a fantastic time on the curated ‘kissing gate walk’ which allowed us to explore the beautiful countryside around Betty!

A wonderful stay in a bell tent for our first glamping experience. Good facilities and really enjoyed our time here.

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful hut. Unfortunately we had cloudy skies so didn’t get to stargaze. Loved our animal neighbours and the visits from the ducks. The BBQ and facilities were great we enjoyed cooking and eating al fresco all weekend. Walked to Winyard Gap for a pub lunch. All in all a lovely relaxing weekend.

Had a fantastic weekend. Location in easy reach of bus stop and pub just across the road if dont want to cook. However cooking facilities in the shepherds hut and even bbq provided. Perfect for dog walkers x

lovelly stay in the airstream, firepit and bbq combo was a great way to spend the evening chilling out. Host steve was very friendly and helpful, greeting us on arrival, as was his dog Luna!

Great few days at Camber Cottages. The decor is as the photos suggest, very much in the ‘shabby chic’ beach cabin style. The courtyard at the back is sweet and the living space easy with large groups. The beds were comfy & linen lovely and clean and fresh. The outdoor furniture could have been more comfortable and perhaps a few more seats useful for larger groups. The armchair in the front window a bit worse for wear. Camber sands beach is literally a 5 minute walk over the dunes which made it really easy with kids. Rye is charming & we had a great visit to local vineyard Tillingham.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La tiny house est tres calme est bien placée , au milieu des animaux et face aux champs...Ce qui nous permet d'avoir une vue reposante et une excellente compagnie au milieu des moutons et boucs. En ce qui concerne l'intérieur, c'est tiny house... L’ensemble est très bien agencé et permets de garde assez d'espaces. Le cuisine propose le necessaire pour cuisiner durant le sejour.( a noter que les escaliers pourraient ne pas convenir à tout le monde) Les hôtes ont été très avenant et disponible durant ces deux jours !

We had a great time staying here for 2 nights with our young boys (aged 5 & 7). Felt like a great adventure staying in the countryside and getting close to nature. Our boys loved it and played for ages outside, leaving us parents with a rare opportunity to relax and enjoy the view! Would recommend for a short stay or a longer break which would allow for some day trips to the coast etc.

I have just stayed for what I believe was my third time and I already want to come back. it is so peaceful but well connected as a location. I was able to take my dog on that many walks, she refused to walk any further! As hosts, they are all very responsive and quick to help. My dog had managed to create an escape route from the caravan, and within 10 minutes of realising, Joanna had fixed the issue. I will definitely be coming back, and 100% believe it is worth the money. Thank you for having us again 🩷

5 stars just are enough! This place is incredible in so many ways! A hot outdoor shower in the trees, the loo with a view, pizza oven and thoughtful hospitality are fabulous but the tranquility and beauty of the surrounds top it all! A perfect 3 days away, we will definitely plan to return!

Dawn was a great host, very friendly, extremely helpful, thoughtful and accommodating. I was visiting my daughter and her family, who were on holiday at a nearby hotel, I chose not to stay there as I had my dog with me and Dawn's place was a perfect base for us. We stayed for three nights.

Completely agree with all the other reviews. We were attending a friend’s engagement party nearby so didn’t get to hang out much which was a shame. It is a lovely little spot and the gardens are absolutely gorgeous.

I was greeted in person. Rose was happy to be flexible about arrival time. The caravan was sited at the bottom of an almost empty field, with an absolutely stunning view. It was a great place for a peaceful stay and as a centre for touring the local area. The bed was warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with gas oven and microwave included. There was plenty of seating both inside and out. There was a lovely "terrace" with chairs and table, which I used a lot. Hot water was available. There was a shower and toilet but the toilet was installed sideways and as a tall person with big feet almost unuseable for me. However, there were terrific showers and toilets on site which I used a lot. Locally a brilliant farm shop and cafe was a short distance away and of course Boscastle and Tintagel. All in all, exactly what I wanted for my stay and excellent value for money. Many of my friends have made notes of this place and will book.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in unserem gemütlichen Zelt. Dieses war perfekt ausgestattet und ganz liebevoll eingerichtet, genauso wie die Küche und das Bad. Wir haben unsere Zeit dort wirklich total genossen, nicht zuletzt weil Susan uns immer mit Rat zur Seite stand, uns tolle Tipps gegeben hat und immer zu erreichen war. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen!

Un petit coin de paradis, même sous la pluie 🙂 La paix, le calme, la nature et ses habitants, le bruit de l'eau, une petite caravane très coquette ! Un feu de camp pour rajouter encore un peu d'ambiance. Tout y est pour un retour aux sources. Merci pour l'accueil et la disponibilité 🙂

We had a fantastic stay at the meadow. It was just as the photos show. My husband and I along with our 4 year old stayed and it was our first time glamping. The bed was so comfortable, king size for us and a single for our son. Everything you need is there, kitchen with a fridge, kettle, microwave. All cutlery, cups and plates etc. the bathroom is fantastic and so great to have an en-suite with shower and toilet attached to the tent. Fire pit and bench outside and so much space around for little man to play. Our hosts were so helpful and left us some yummy biscuits, fresh butter, bread and milk for when we arrived too. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and hope to return again in the future. Definitely a great experience and a perfectly comfortable way to give glamping a try. Thanks for a great trip with fab memories made. John, Natalie and Jack x
