The Lifeboat

This unique glamping unit has been crafted here at Rosevidney Farm over the past 18months. She is a former oil industry escape craft and when she came her in 2019 was still fully functioning with engine, seatbelts, emergency supplies etc. Now she sits in our Glamping meadow alongside our Safari Tents and Russian Truck. The lifeboat will sleep four in comfort with a King-size Bed and twin singles. There is an ensuite shower and loo, central heating as well as a handcrafted wood burning stove

Bedding provided except July /August Fully equipped kitchen (stove ,coffee maker, kettle ,microwave), toilet and heating on board and access to the port's sanitary facilities (very clean and nearby, after agreement possibility to stay until 2:00 p.m.)from 5/7 to 30/08 reservation only from Saturday to Saturday

Xavier is a 1932 Dutch Luxemotor Barge. The accommodation is in the original captain's quarters to the rear of the boat. Guests also have the exclusive use of the wheelhouse in this fully working vessel. It is moored alongside the quay in the village of Gweek, a working boatyard with traditional boat builders and a variety of marine businesses. Gweek is a lovely village at the head of the Helford Estuary and has a pub and an excellent shop opposite the village green.
