Really lovely place, very modern and we loved the quirkiness throughout. The pool area was fab, large space which meant everyone wasn’t on top of each other. The games room is a really nice touch especially if the weather isn’t great. The cafe was lovely, amazing pastries and breakfast. The studio apartment was fab, we had a sea view which was lovely, the kids loved the bunk beds and the main bed was super comfy. We ordered from the pizza van and they delivered it to our room, the mother/son at the van were super friendly and the pizza was very tasty. The only observation I would make is that it would be nice to have some information once the booking is made on what to expect, the night before we arrived I couldn’t see how we check-in and tried to contact them a number of times the following morning to confirm all was okay, so it would be good to not have that panic. Overall really good stay and we will definitely return.

The Mrs and I had a great couple of days at Ashbys for my birthday and valentine’s. The place itself is a great spot to hangout with lots to do and the rooms were very nice too. The host Steve was amazing and very welcoming. He really went out his way to ensure we had a good time and answered all our questions. Cannot emphasise enough how good of a time we had. Would recommend to anyone thinking of going! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sue's place was perfect for my family. 15 minute walk to the beach and Weymouth station. Sue gave us tips on what to do and places to visit. Sue provided milk, cereal, coffee, tea, pastries and fresh fruits. Everything was perfect, I'd recommend this place to anyone as long as stairs aren't an issue.

The accommodation is very secure and indeed it is very reassuring! The cleaning is perfect, the geographical location too. Despite a concern when booking, the host was able to react quickly and efficiently! You can go there without a second thought! We highly recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at Ashbys - the room was spotless and looked even better than in the photos. Despite the bad weather, the hot tub was securely covered and we were still able to enjoy our time using it. Stephen and Mubi were absolutely lovely and so helpful, they really go above and beyond to make your stay the best that it can be. Thank you both and we will definitely be back for another visit!

we enjoyed this place. Near the train station, but not at all disturbance in terms of noise. a little out of the way, but Dinan is a small town... and close to the cinema. quiet accommodation, without luxury, but the bedding is good. the set corresponded to the description that was given, but the accommodation remains very basic and without particular charm and we could have expected €10 less.

Great central place to stay, close to the beach and shops. The accommodation was clean, modern and tidy. The welcoming team were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment has a nice home from home vibe and you instantly feel relaxed. One thing to note is it does get very warm and we had to open the windows to regulate the temperature but as side from that it was a great few days staying with The Ginger Pig. We’ll be back.

Our accommodation was very clean, spacious and a prime position for restaurants and pubs. The bathroom was massive with a big shower. Great for an overnight stay. Even though you are right in the middle of town it wasn’t noisy at all. The only thing that didn’t happen was we couldn’t find any free off street parking (it was too busy at 3pm). But we did park in the car park behind the accommodation which didn’t cost very much for our overnight stay. We would definitely recommend. Thank you for a great weekend.

Stephen and muberra were such fantastic hosts, right away you feel comfortable with them both upon meeting, they delivered everything we could of possibly wanted and went an extra mile. Highly recommend ashbys snug and cosy it's a fun and friendly place with some lovely people! We are definitely going to come back.

amazing location on the sea - unfortunately our room didn't have a sea view and the kitchenette is really just a microwave, but all pretty much as described and perfect for a short getaway. v helpful staff and nice clean place.
