Great value for the price Very well-located accommodation. Véronique is a very friendly and easy-going person. If we go back to the area, it will be a guaranteed re-book. You can go there without a second thought.

It was a really nice and well-located apartment. Would recommend but just up until 6 people, we were with 8 and it was a bit too small for us. And the one other downside is that you cannot store your luggage anymore after check-out in the apartment and have to make arrangements to store them someplace else.

At Christophe's, Normandy hospitality has its champion! Barely through the door: self-service lollipops, glass of friendship with a homemade knob, farmer's cider in tasting that makes the seagulls sing in choir. The tone is set: simplicity, generosity, and tailor-made advice. In 3 days, our host guided us and provided us with the good places: historic walk in Caen, breath of fresh air at the Orne estuary, chills at the Grand Bunker Museum, go-karting tour, dinner at the Oyat, ultra fresh fish and shellfish at unbeatable prices at the morning auction. The accommodation is impeccable: spacious, perfect bedding, heated indoor pool as advertised. And throughout the stay, little touches that I keep secret to preserve the surprise... In short: a golden host, a top apartment and a concentrate of Norman generosity. We leave with a smile, with only one idea: to come back!

Beautiful place to stay. Kim been very welcomed,very polite. She made home made cake for my daughter's birthday. Absolutely loved to stay there. My daughters was over the moon,seeing and feeding the chickens, that made her day for 110% Thank you for having us :))))

Very special, comfortable and tastefully presented beamed loft-type apartment with spectacular ocean (balcony) and estuary views. Compact downstairs kitchen and spacious bath/shower/toilet room. Perfect for a quiet getaway with Polruan and pubs a short walk downhill (bit longer on way back!!) and lovely Fowey a short ferry ride across the estuary. Well situated for access to spectacular National Trust coast at Lantic Beach and Lansallos...both not to be missed. No dedicated parking but the public paid parking on St Saviours Hill seems very reasonably priced - especially for the multi-day purchase option. Plenty of space when we were there off-season...might be more complicated in high season.

Clean, well-equipped and very comfortable home. Perfect for 10 people to stay without being on top of each other. The host is responsive if there are any questions or concerns. The location is great. I recommend it without hesitating!

What a beautiful spot. The view was incredible, the room was spotless and James was incredibly helpful. Easy access to the beach and to the pub and Downderry is a great location from which to explore the local area. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic place! Designed to make best use of the space, well equipped and spotlessly clean. So much thought has gone into making the accommodation as user-friendly as possible. It’s well located close to restaurants, shops and Southsea common/front but in a quiet location. 40 mins walk to Fratton Park for the football. Can thoroughly recommend!

Lovely apartment. The area is peaceful and view from the apartment is beautiful. Apartment is well thought out with a cute garden; perfect for our short stay. The host, Veronique, was very helpful and responsive. Thank you. ☺️

Wonderful stay! Birdie Box is definitely the cleanest and most well-equipped AirBnB we have ever stayed at. The flat is absolutely lovely, comfortable and the garden is beautiful. The location is great, very peaceful and quiet with the little beach and cafe a 5 minute walk down the lane. It's also a great location for visiting that part of Cornwall. Loved it.

Area is nice. I was late getting to the check in so it was dark. It was a bit confusing in the dark getting to the door but after reading instructions I got there. I loved the plants it made it feel more like a home.

Richard was a very responsive and helpful host, with a lovely place close to plenty of brilliant sites around the area. A good kitchen and a very comfy bed as well. Would stay again.

We had a perfect stay! The place was spotless, very clean, well decorated and as described. All the comforts were at the rendezvous, with the freedom and beauty of the estate that really makes the difference. The host was super responsive, welcoming, and available throughout the stay. Location is ideal, quiet, and beautiful. I recommend 100% and will come back without hesitation if the opportunity arises. Again, thank you for this great experience!

Dot and Dave were amazing hosts, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Dot was warm and welcoming — the kind of host who makes you feel instantly at home. She struck the perfect balance: always ready to help, yet respectful of your space so you could fully relax and enjoy the space. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and their hospitality really added a special touch to the trip. I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend their place to anyone looking for a truly lovely experience.
