Vacation rentals with a patio in Edinburgh

Perfect for our short break. Spotlessly clean and modern interior, private secluded parking was a bonus. Ted was a great host and met us on arrival. Would definitely recommend!

This apartment exceeded expectations in all areas. Alison is an exceptionally friendly owner providing helpful information regarding attractions, restaurants, and even information to help those of us from the US acclimate to the area. The apartment is in an excellent area to explore both New and Old Town with an area to park a smallish vehicle. The apartment is spacious and met all of our needs and beyond. I would definitely come here again.

The apartment is fantastic. Great location, you can walk everywhere and somehow is quiet enough to rest. It’s bigger than it looks and truly comfortable. Lee was really kind and was flexible about our check in and check out time which made our trip lot easier.

We absolutely loved our stay here in this beautiful peaceful apartment. The location is fantastic, close to everything yet far enough away from all the noise of the city centre. The apartment is stunning. So much love and care taken to make it feel so welcoming. Close to lots of great cafes and shops too. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Edinburgh.

We had a lovely stay at Alison's place. The apartment was exactly like in the pictures and the neighborhood was nice and quiet, walking distance from the city centre. The instructions and local tips on the app made our stay easy and enriched our holiday. Alison and Maria were great hosts, would book again!

This was a perfect place for us to stay which was 3 couples. It was in close proximity for walking to many of Edinburgh’s many sights. The host was quick to respond to our questions. The only thing I would suggest to a new renter, is when keying in on Maps is to use both STREET & LANE as our host has it listed. This was our problem, not the hosts. The patio was very nice to sit out and enjoy the neighborhood. If I come back to Edinburgh, I would stay in this BnB again.

The stay was amazing! I just had one grip, it gets a little bit hot in the bedroom, but opening a window fixes the issue! Thank you for your wonderful home for us to stay in!!! Thank you for also being an amazing host!!

We selected this cottage for a family trip to Edinburgh and it was perfect. Easy to get into the city centre, either a 15 minute walk or a quick Uber journey. Natalie was a great host, answered queries promptly and gave local recommendations to keep us occupied of the weather turned. The cottage itself is of a good size with 2 double bedrooms, which was a must for us, along with a cosy lounge and good sized kitchen. Thanks again Natalie, we would definitely boom again for future trips on Edinburgh. Tom

I had a lovely stay in Midlothian. The house was clean, peaceful, and very comfortable. It was a perfect base to explore Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The host was friendly and helpful, and everything was just as described. I truly enjoyed the stay and would love to return in the future. Highly recommended!

Me and my friends visited this property, and this is one of the best properties we stayed. It was so beautiful and homey. Norrane is very lovely lady. She also guide us with all nearby places and afcourse, if we are coming back to Edinburgh then definitely would like to stay here again...

Cindy's place was absolutely perfect for my stay in Edinburgh. She was extremely helpful and communicative, and she provided very helpful advice/tips for exploring the city and surrounding area. Transportation was super easy without a rental car as the bus stop was right at the end of the Cul de sac, and the bus system in Edinburgh is extremely cheap, safe and efficient. The cottage was very clean and cozy, and it is located in a very nice area. Would highly recommend!

A home away from home ❤️ The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I was travelling with parents and a small child - so split levels meant everyone could have their own space and a big communal area on the ground floor which was perfect for us all. Location was great. A short cab ride into town, but walkable too. Close by to Arthur’s Seat, which is a must to do while in Edinburgh. Karen and Carina are amazing hosts, very responsive and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

My family and I loved our stay at Usman’s place. We came into Edinburgh after staying in Dublin for several days near the city center which was loud and bustling. We were ready for some quiet time. The home is beautiful and located in a nice neighborhood. There was awesome walk ability at this home and we were able to get to the tram easily to go into the city and explore and see the water at the end of the line. We also easily walked to get groceries at a local convenience store. Usman was communicative and helpful. We would absolutely recommend and would stay again upon a return to Scotland.

Charming one night stay after getting in late from the airport!

We loved our stay at Nadine’s place. Great location. The house had a great reception room for cooking / socialising.

We spend a night at Pete’s house and were amazed by how easy he made it for us. All instructions were on point and clear. Pete was always with us over phone and ensured we got the instructions right. I can recommend Pete as a host as much as I can recommend his house. Thanks again Pete! You contributed much to our fantastic stay in Edinburgh!

This is a fun place to stay, in a quiet neighborhood with fairly reasonable parking options for those who are choosing to rent a car. Definitely take a look at bus routes etc, as we did not find this spot to be walkable to most highlited areas in Edinburgh. The bus was an easy 5 min walk from the space and we found it easy to navigate with Google Maps. Over all the places was very well kept, the host was fabulous. The Art in the home is ALL female paintings, books, posters etc... quirky or creepy you decide. So if you don't mind women staring you down from every window covering, painting, or poster then you'll enjoy your time in this art filled space.

Kate is a wonderful host, clear and timely communication and responsive to any issues. Her place is great, clean, comfortable, and provides good separation from family areas and sleeping areas, important when traveling with three generations of family. Location was perfect and remarkably quiet.

We’ve been using air Bnb for ten years now and Michelle’s place is one of the best places we have stayed at. Great apartment. So comfortable and peaceful. Really clean. Lots of thoughtful touches. Has everything you could need. You’re a 10 minute walk from the playhouse theatre, and great restaurants and the shopping centre. Excellent tram service through the city and from the door to the airport. Michelle was super responsive and helpful and we would Definitely stay again. The parking space and the outdoor space was perfect for our family stay.

This home was beautiful! The hosts were very friendly and communicative. Our party of 8 stayed for a few nights while on vacation. The rooftop balcony was a special treat, and we utilized that space daily during our stay. We were walking distance from many shops and cafes, as well as some art galleries and a board game store, which fit our family dynamic perfectly. As a note, while the listing is clear that this is a top-floor flat, we were still a bit unprepared for how many stairs there are to reach the flat itself (40+). The spiral staircase to the top floor (with the balcony) is also very rickety, although you can reach the top floor by the main apartment staircase. If stairs are an issue for anyone in your party, or you have a lot of luggage, this is a bit of a hike. Overall, we had a great experience in this apartment, and recommend it to others who are looking to visit Edinburgh.

We loved our stay at Maria’s! Her place is super clean. The beds are very comfy. The location is near a bus stop. Maria was very hospitable and left us some goodies. She was responsive and flexible with our arrival. Highly recommend!!

A beautiful space, well located, very firm bed. Also very quiet all hours, appliances, cookware, and fixtures all top quality.
