Vacation rentals with beach access in Edinburgh

Sheila’s flat is in a perfect location in Portobello, very close to the promenade and the sea. We had a lovely few days stay there. The flat is most welcoming, comfortable and attractive with beautiful artwork on the walls making it a special place to stay.

Brodie‘s place is absolutely amazing! The bathroom is super nice, with a large mirror, the bed is comfortable and we felt right at home. The location is also amazing, when you take the tram to the city center it takes you about 10 minutes. I can really recommend this place, it was worth every penny.

We had a great stay at Angie's place. Everything was just what we needed. Helpful, friendly advice made it everything easy. Super views and a perfect location for exploring the area plus close to bus/train connections.

Amazing little cottage, immaculately decorated and spotlessly cleaned, with everything thought out and had everything we needed for our stay. Location is great, bus services into town are very regular and we found them very easy to use. Cant wait to return sometime! Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to visit Edinburgh

We had a wonderful stay at Carla’s cottage. It was warm and cozy with a very comfy bed and fully equipped kitchen and smart TV. We are big coffee drinkers and Carla actually ordered a coffee plunger to be delivered for our use which was super kind. Carla was very responsive and hospitable. We highly recommend her cottage without hesitation.

James’ place is perfect for a long stay. We had 6 nights and the apartment is well appointed, feels welcoming and homely and so close to everything you might want to see. We had a lovely stay in this beautiful city.. and the weather was sunny every day!

Enjoyed staying at Claire’s home a lot. It is a gorgeous and very bright flat with charm and everything needed (e.g. great kitchen equipment). It was just a shame that the dishwasher was broken. The bed is very comfy and there is enough storage room. I also loved the neighbourhood, quiet but everything in walking distance. Porty is lovely with its cosy cafes, local restaurants and charity shops. And its amazing beach of course! What I loved most are the stunning views from the flat, especially the seaview from the bedroom - watching the sunrise in the morning was beautiful. The sea promenade is a minute walk away, so is the bus stop which is just round the corner and it is only a 30 min bus drive to Edinburgh city center. Claire is a fantastic superhost and let you feel very welcome. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Iona's place is gorgeous. It was more beautiful than we could have imagined. We were a party of 7, a family of 3 and a family of 4. Everyone had their own space. Her house is immaculate and very comfortable. You won't need a thing while staying there, the house has everything! With a bus stop right out front we could access all of Edinburgh easily. Portobello is a beautiful community and wonderful, peaceful place to return to after a busy day of sight-seeing. We loved St. Andrew's restaurant. Everyone in this area is very friendly and kind. We plan to return here next summer for sure. Iona was very helpful and kind, she was always available to contact if we needed her and very gracious and approachable. I can't say enough good things about our stay, it was our best holiday ever, much thanks to Iona and her beautiful home. I definitely recommend this location to anyone, especially families.

If we could rate Debbie’s place higher than a 5 we would😁. It was so clean and comfortable. We had 4 adults (2 couples) in our group. The beds are comfortable and it was wonderful to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has great cooking equipment and the extra little touches of cookies and availability of spices was very much appreciated. Thank you so much to Debbie and her sister 🥰

We had a wonderful stay here. The beds were comfy with good quality linen, and the area was very quiet so we slept very well. It is furnished really well and we were very comfortable. We got ready for a wedding in this flat and as the windows are so large, it provided beautiful natural light for the bride and bridal party to do their makeup and hair. The flat was almost right on the beach front - we would recommend the local public sauna on portobello beach and sea swim! The parking is a bit tight, and the local neighbours spoke to us about where is best to park. This was not confrontational whatsoever, they clearly care about their street. As we had two cars, one of us parked on the street perpendicular to be courteous. It would not stop us from coming back at all, and the local street was less than a 1 minute walk. Overall, we had a great stay, thank you so much!

Beautiful, stylish and comfortable house really excellently located in Portobello, close to both the High Street and the beach. We stayed for a week and the house was perfect for our family of four. Ania is an ideal host - friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

Very happy with my stay, i normally use hotels for work, but this was a much better experience and cost effective.

A lovely little cottage to enjoy the beautiful North Queensferry. The house is beautifully presented and really feels homely and welcoming. The bedrooms are great sizes and the bathroom was spotless. Will definitely be staying here again!

Anita's place is beautifully decorated and it felt like we were living in the real Edinburgh. The kitchen has everything one could ask for and we ended up cooking many of our meals at the flat. There are small touches of a thoughtful person like leaving a jar of cookies and other small gestures - very warm, artistic and homely. I particularly liked the bee motif running as a theme through the apartment. We also tried eateries-Cafe Milk and one or two of the sea side pubs around. Cafe Milk is a 5 min w in the Edinburgh Sculpture centre and a very interesting crowd seems to visit there. The bars overlook the sea and serve great food. Go in early though, as places stop serving food later in the evening. Transportation to the flat was easy, and we took the buses to town. It is a 20 minute bus ride to Princes Street. Most importantly Anita was super responsive and helpful and this made our stay extra special. I highly recommend the place and I hope we get a chance to live there again soon

Maria's place exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a pristine and cozy getaway. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how immaculate and well-kept everything was. The cleanliness was top-notch, making the space feel fresh and inviting. The coziness of this place was truly exceptional. The decor was charming and thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, Maria was incredibly hospitable and responsive.

Lovely stay in a walkable location for central Edinburgh. Clean place with everything we needed for our stay, able to cook a meal without issues. Responsive hosts. Perfect place for two couples to stay. Thank you to our hosts.

there are no words for how beautiful! the location is absolutely perfect. the building itself was beautiful, it was so hard to say goodbye! the host was wonderful and i’d recommend anyone who’s visiting to stay there!

Jamie was an amazing host, his place was in a perfect location that isn’t too far outside the city. But still far enough to enjoy peace and quiet, we had a few chats outside the BNB and he was a great guy! I highly recommend staying at Jamie’s place!

What can I say, this property far surpassed our expectations! We were just looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting family in Edinburgh, but this was a brilliant location and a fabulous apartment. our only regret is that we didn't stay longer, as there was so much more we wanted to do. Great communication from the host and clear instructions, thank you so much, we hope to be back in the future!

The property is well located with a beautiful view of the bay. The apartment is well equipped and well laid out. Access to the apartment is easy and the apartment is a comfortable walking distance from Edinburgh centre. Andrew communicates all needed information in a timely manner and was very pleasant. I would definitely book this apartment again for a future visit.
