My wife and I stayed at Ratho Park Steading in the Coach House's "The Green" from 12/31/24 to 1/4/25. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable, cozy, and well-maintained, and our amenities were ample and easily accessible. The care the hosts took in this gorgeous property's revival clearly extends into the accommodation’s carefully curated design, seasonal decor, and ambiance. Being perfectly placed between numerous points of interest and set within a picturesque locale, Ratho Park Steading is a rare find. Our reservation came with access to "The Den" and included continental breakfast - something we hadn't anticipated. This space created an opportunity for us to meet and interact with our host(s) and other visitors. The hosts are welcoming, responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, and resourceful. Dannii in particular went above and beyond expectations. Ratho Park Steading was the perfect location to round-out our two-week journey through the British Isles. We highly recommend it.

Bright and Modern Studio in a Stunning Location!!

We had the best time during our stay in the stunning apartment! The rooms are flooded with light, the space is very clean and exceptionally neat, and everything we could have asked for was there. We were even granted an early check in, which allowed us to use our first vacation day fully - this was very much appreciated. We also had the chance to get to know Lindsay and Roberto - what a delightful pleasure! They are the most fantastic hosts :) We were invited over for a glas of wine during our stay and had the best time. They are so interesting, kind and just overall great people. Next time we’re in Edinburgh we’re definitely staying with Lindsay and Robert again (or if the apartment is already booked, at least meeting them for a coffee) 😊

Jon and Linsey were wonderful hosts during our stay in Edinburgh! They were very helpful with check in and check out and the Airbnb lived up to our expectations. It provides everything one might need while exploring the city. The location is truly convenient as it avoids the big crowds and noise from the city center and the bus only takes about 30-40 minutes to most of the desired locations. We would recommend without hesitation this cozy nest to anyone visiting Edinburgh for the first time or even revisiting 😃🇪🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️

Georgina’s Place was just beautiful, perfectly equipped in a beautiful location so we could sleep comfortably between exploring the beautiful sights of Scotland. Georgina provided easy instructions on accessing the property and everything was to a very high standard. Will look forward to staying again in the future!

Super nice accommodation. Looks exactly as pictured and also better when you got there. Clean and fresh. Smelled good. Super nice spacious toilet. Very homely and nice the whole place. No kitchen but it absolutely didn't matter as there was a fridge. Great breakfast place just up the hill. Comfortable beds. Very good location to everything we wanted to see. The tram stopped just a short walk from the property. Fantastic that there were also some jackets to borrow when we misjudged the weather. Hygiene items such as shower/shampoo were available. Will be more than happy to come back to this home.

We stayed at Tatu’s annex for a few days and had a lovely experience. Although the host lives just next door, we barely noticed and had complete privacy throughout our stay. Tatu was incredibly helpful and friendly from the start—he personally talked us through the check-in process, showed us how to unfold the sofa bed, and even recommended which bus to take into the city. The annex itself is cosy, clean, and quiet—perfect for a relaxing break. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the essential utensils and appliances, making it easy to prepare simple meals. The shower had great water pressure and consistent temperature, which was a real plus. Getting to the city by bus was quick and straightforward. Tatu even helped us by giving clear instructions to back out our car—much appreciated! Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful, well-kept spot with a thoughtful host.

The place was easy to find with great directions given. Joe was responsive with communication answering questions quickly. It is easy to get into the city with the local buses and a bus stop near by. The room was comfortable with basic amenities as described.

Susie's place was the best! Definitely my favourite place that I've stayed on my trip. It was so relaxing and really enjoyable. The bed was comfy. Great to have night lights for reading and blogging. Susie was always there to answer questions and gave me great advice for the local area. Thankyou for an amazing place to stay Susie. It's been a sanctuary to come home to after a long day exploring and touring.

The loft space at Suzan's gave us a space to rest and organize our luggage for an international flight out of Edinburgh the next morning. We were graciously welcome and helped at check-in. Despite being only a sleeping space, there was tea and instant coffee service available. We were also wished safe travel on check-out the next day. A clean and comfortable last night in Scotland.

Helen and Jamal’s home was perfect for what my partner and I needed! I met Helen briefly and she was very friendly and her responses were quick. The location for us was perfect - nice and peaceful with shops/train station and restaurants 10 minute drive away. The place was very clean and had everything that we needed. Would definitely recommend this place if you don’t want to stay inside Edinburgh and can get to the train station easily! Thank you both :)

We had a nice stay at Susan! everything was good and how it was described. You can reach the city center easily by the bus. Susan was very friendly and provided all the information that we needed. The rooms were a bit small and you had to watch your head while being there, but it was a well balance between what we payed and what we got. Would recommend this place for your stay!

It’s a very quaint little place that’s perfect for a romantic getaway. I will say that the address is a bit hard to get food delivery, so it would be ideal to have your own vehicle or be prepared to cook your own meals, but the host is very sweet, instructions are easy, and our stay was wonderful.

Muriel is a lovely host, who is not afraid to take an extra mile to provide cosy atmosphere and looking after her guests. She surprised us with goodies, which was fantastic upon our late arrival. The place is stunning, inside and out, not to mention the peaceful green surroundings. The flat consists of everything you possibly need. The bus stop is 2min away to get to city centre and uber drivers are always available within 10min. We would highly recommend this fantastic place! Thank you Muriel!

Lovely host and a lovely accommodation! Was greeted amazingly and perfect instructions of the place, was super flexible for check in and me and my mates was there for an event and had to be there before! Highly recommend and would definitely book with next time I’m up☺️

Mhairi’s place was great to stay at. It is peaceful and quiet with a short walk to the sea. Good parking a short walk away. The location is great to bus to the city center. (Four choices running very often). Mhari was very kind at check in and responsive in chat. We would definitely return here for another stay 😃!

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!! The location is perfect! Just a 10 minute bus ride from the center, the neighborhood is very quiet and made the walks in the morning/evening very peaceful. You may even see friendly cats wanting to say hello while you're on your walk. The pod itself looked even better in person and was spacious. The morning sunrise and the beautiful night sky from the pod was breath-taking. Margherita made everything easy, she was extremely helpful, she made us feel at home and gave us our privacy as well. We cant wait to book again when we visit again in the future!!! 5 Stars all arounddd!

Absolutely spotless accommodation, with lots of unexpected extras, excellent host, good communication and very flexible. Easy access to Edinburgh and surrounding area by car or bus.

Elizabeth was the perfect host. we felt right at home. She gave us useful information regarding the bus system and walking directions to the village. it was just the right distance from the city center. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Den.
