Had a great 2 days, and the lovely large pond on the front door was so peaceful to sit out of an evening. Short walk to main town centre. Very friendly pubs. The Kinematic in the Woods is a must see. If you are into golf, the course is meant to be one of the best in the country. Stevi..

Denise was very welcoming and met me on the drive as I arrived. Denise also showed me around the property and gave me recommendations of places for food and drink. The room itself was very open and had a large bathroom to match. Outside the property it had a well kept array of flowers and a view of the sunset and sunrise. all round lovely place to stay, secluded from the local town but an easy drive from everything you would want.

Perfectly nice value stay and comfy bed. Though there was noise during the night (boats engine or boiler? And walls are thin for other rooms) and there is no kitchen/fridge only bed and bath. I would stay again for short-term only. Handy for uni as it’s on campus, with a water side view.

We had a great stay at this little lodge. It was beautifully clean and very comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable, with beautiful bedding and towels. Perfect place for much needed relax and chill out. It was so quiet too!! Great bonus was having air conditioning upstairs and down! Angela was an excellent host, very welcoming and thoughtful, a lovely little gift when we arrived. I think I can say it was perfect!!

The Swan is a great place to stay if you are travelling on a budget. The rooms are clean, comfortable and contain everything you could need for a short break. The check-in instructions from the host were easy to follow and they provided useful additional information. No complaints.

Very well-located, situated right next to the university, which we already know our way around. Everything is within walking distance. Room was bigger than expected and cosy. Included amenities- tea, coffee, towels and even an ironing board, so we were quite pleased.

I booked Drake Lodge as a birthday getaway for myself and my best friend, looking for some peace and tranquility away from our Husbands and children for the night and that is exactly what we got. The lodge is set in a private, beautiful little garden, meaning we could relax in the hot tub and chat happily. Elizabeth was a fantastic host, she has really put a lot of love and attention to detail into the inside of the the lodge, ensuring we had everything you could possibly need for an night away from home. Everything was well thought out and the interior was so cosy. We have left feeling happy and relaxed ☺️ We will definitely we back!

Second time here, just as good as the first! Rachel is always available to help and puts lovely touches into making you feel right at home. Would recommend to anybody, and already have started!

Really pleased with our stay. Our host introduced himself shortly after we had checked in. Everything we needed was available, the place was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and in nice quite surroundings. Would certaintly return were we ever in the area in the future.

The Airbnb me and my partner stayed in was perfect for what we had envisioned. Luca was very responsive and always helpful. If we were to come back to Swinderby we’d definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 4 nights - fantastic location for walks along the coastal path. Very comfortable set up, quiet and peaceful surroundings plus the added bonus of gated parking too . Facilities were as described, it was so useful having a little kitchen area to dish up meals after buying fresh produce from the local deli’s across the Norfolk coast region. Plenty of hot water and heating which made it all feel cosy esp during the evenings. Will be returning for sure in the not too distant future.

What a lovely place - the photos don’t do it justice. Clean and comfortable with access to their garden. There were only 2 of us so we had plenty of space. A car is essential but there is lots of room to park. Sarah and her partner were very welcoming (thank you for the wine) and it is one of the nicest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Lots of good recommendations of where to eat, all of which were excellent. It’s a lovely part of the country and I can heartily recommend a visit.

Beautiful cottage, nice personal touches, milk in fridge, shower cap. Wonderful decor and a very quiet place. Colleen was great at communucating.

We stayed here with our 5yo daughter. It's a lovely place. Very secluded and quiet despite being so close to the railway line. The kitchen is well-equipped and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Thank you for a lovely stay. An excellent location and the accommodation is even better than the pictures show. A large stylish space with everything you need. Set in beautiful grounds. I recommend looking on Google street view to find the entrance. Quite a lot to do nearby with local pubs and holiday park.

We enjoyed the lovely scones and the accessibility to your beautifully crafted garden on the first day, and continued to enjoy your warm and cozy home to relax. The amenities were fantastic, enabling us to prepare meals, play board games and relax after a busy season of work. The location was perfect and it meant that we could pop into Lincoln for the day too. We’ve very much enjoyed looking at your book collection (especially the Christian pocket guide and bird book) and listening to your CDs.

Beautiful barn conversion wihin stunning grounds, and lots of lovely peaceful walks on the doorstep! Richard and family were great hosts, met us on arrival, plenty of local recommendations, and helpful throughout our stay. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Thank you.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Robert and Janes lovely and spacious annex. It is obvious that they take every effort to make your stay as comfortable and easy as it can be. The annex is just like the pictures and is spotlessly clean. Cooking and eating in is a very welcome addition to our stay and the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and all the cutlery. The shower is lovely and the bed is very comfortable with crisp nice smelling bedding. Robert is very helpful and always responsive should you need anything. You will find Robert and his lovely wife Jane to be a lovely couple to meet and chat along with. I would definitely recommend without hesitation that you stay with them at their place. We had an amazing stay here at The Annex — it's cosy and has a lovely homely feel that makes you feel relaxed the moment you walk in. The location is wonderfully peaceful, tucked away at Thorpe on the Hill, yet still close enough to explore Lincoln. We stayed here for four days and it was ideal for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We enjoyed having the space to relax and the kids absolutely loved it. It was truly a family-friendly spot, thoughtfully set up to make everyone feel welcome. If you're looking for a peaceful, comfortable place with all the comforts of home, this is a great choice! Highly recommended!
