Definitely felt like we'd swam the channel finding this little gem. Great location, very well equipped lodge & the pub at the side was fabulous. Food was excellent, staff were really friendly & helpful & the added bonus of live music on that night made it a great stay. Would definitely recommend & go back

We had a lovely couple of nights here and we ll definitely be trying to book this again it was perfect for me and our family also the dog. Claire also makes the best bread I’ve ever had would now definitely recommend taking her up on her meals as I’m sure they are bang g aswell 10/10 really happy with everything

I had such a lovely stay at Madison’s Barn — Judith and Richard were friendly, kind and responsive hosts. The place is very remote and I didn’t have access to a car so Judith gave me a lift from Grantham station, which was so nice of her and a total life saver! The location, which is in a small village, is quiet, peaceful, with several lovely countryside walks nearby. The place itself is spacious and cosy, and it was lovely setting up the fire and getting it going every night. Bear in mind the TV isn’t a smart TV so bring some DVDs if you’d like to make use of it! Overall this trip was exactly what I needed and I’m so glad I went. Can thoroughly recommend!

I loved the peace of the woods. Although the toilets and showers were away from the hut, there was a block assigned to each hut, so you had your own services while there. Hunstanton is only 25 25-minute drive away and the Sandringham estate is only a matter of miles. It was like camping again but with a lovely warm and comfortable shepherds hut instead of a tent :) Will return!

Absolutely breathtaking setting. Staying in the Potting Shed we were completely immersed in peaceful nature, but just a short walk (or golf buggy ride!) from the pool and sunset mound (highly recommend heading there for sundowners).

We stayed here as a half way stop off between him and the beach. The restaurant/pub was excellent. Staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Accommodation was clean and comfy. Our boys had a really great sleep too, which is an accomplishment in itself. Thanks again!

A fantastic pod with everything you need. We particularly enjoyed the bbq and table to eat outside. A peaceful site amd very family friendly, we would definitely recommend.

My husband and I absolutely loved Patrick's place. Thank you for such a great relaxing stay, your lovely hospitality, such a pleasure to meet you xx We loved the set up of the whole place, our off grid room, stove, and how peaceful it was on an evening. Plus, thank you for letting us use the shower in your home, also to stay fresh & clean 🙏😉 Only 20 mins away from the lovely Lincoln City. Plenty to see and do there if want to venture out and if not, relax and enjoy being surrounded by nature 🧘‍♀️💚🌿🌱

Second time here, just as good as the first! Rachel is always available to help and puts lovely touches into making you feel right at home. Would recommend to anybody, and already have started!

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Debbie's beautiful Shepherd's Hut. Every amenity was thought of and there were some thoughtful touches too, like hand-made soaps and some eggs for brekkie. Very remote location but that made it super peaceful. 30mins to the coast. 45 mins to Lincoln. Would highly recommend for a relaxing short stay away as a detox or even longer! We'll be back soon, thank you Debbie.

7 star. Had a wonderful stay with my family. Couldn’t get much more in that price. Exceptional. Folkert and Aniza are amazing host. Highly recommend their place. Will come back in summer to enjoy the sunshine in the garden with the kids.

Extremely comfortable shepherd’s hut with everything we needed (and a lovely shower!) which elevated our camping experience immensely. Thank you so much to our hosts - we’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay here whilst in the area for the Boston marathon. The property was as described and we felt both that Kevin was on hand should we need anything but also that we had complete privacy. Being able to return for a quick shower after the race (after check out time) was much appreciated too. thank you!

Our stay at the DragonFly was amazing, with it being valentines weekend Maria made it extra special for us with a few little gifts and treats! It had a lovely firepit we sat next to roasting marshmallows, had a lovely and peaceful with lots of trails to walk, very close to the town centre with numerous shops and places to eat. Inside was clean and tidy when we got there, did take a few hours for it to warm up but once it did it was lovely and toasty during the cold weather outside. Had a bit of trouble using the oven which didn't want to stay light but wasn't the end of the world. The hosts were lovely and always replied quickly. Overall a lovely weekend and would recommend to everyone!

Hayley and Ian were the most fantastic hosts. Greeting us on arrival, showing us the shepherd’s hut and showing immediate interest in us and what we wanted to do. This led to Ian booking us a table at the pub for dinner, and they extended invitations for us to go see the old mill and chat to them whenever we wanted. They continued to be welcoming and friendly beyond the check out, just generally very lovely people. The shepherds hut and surrounding were superb and we would absolutely go back.

Absolutely beautiful lodge! Every little detail has been thought of for your stay, everything you need is there. Loved how welcoming it was for our dog too, treats in the cupboard, water bowls & toys outside plus the enclosed garden to have a run around in. The site is lovely & peaceful, Guys food & drink is delicious, you can go to the restaurant or have it delivered to your lodge! Family swimming is great, you can book in to use the facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

We had a beautiful stay 2 children 2 & 5 and 2 dogs! Was a beautiful weekend very peaceful and some lovely memories made! Only downside, the dogs had to stay on the lead as it’s not closed off our one dog is good at listening and will happily stay around us the other likes to run and run and he ran straight for the main road a few times

We stayed in one of the 2 person pods with my puppy and it was the best first stay for her and us! The area is so peaceful, scenic and only 10 minute drive from the local town which has so many shops! The hot tub was so easy to use and relaxing, BBQ just the same & created lovely food! Pod was small but we had just enough space for a couple and puppy. We had everything we needed. Big thank you to Natalie for allowing us to stay in one of your beautiful pods and amazing service! Will definitely be recommending to friends and family and will most likely be back ourselves! x

We came to stay here for a relaxing weekend away and it did not disappoint! The area is idyllic and the cabin is beautiful; the cosy log burner, the rustic features and ample amenities. The fridge was fully stocked ready for breakfast and we had lots of options for drinks. Spud the cat came to visit us on many occasions to make us feel welcome. We have already recommended this hidden gem to many family and friends and we will surely be back!

Great instructions, lovely greetings, perfect place, great quality Bedding, comfy beds, everything was provided, toiletries, towels, kitchenware, very efficient appliances, Nothing was forgotten! We sat out in the covered area just for the accommodation attached to the lovely cabin, very peaceful garden. Watch out for the Monck jacks visits, very shy. Highly recommend.

The place is a little gem very private with beautiful surroundings and it has a gas Bbq next to a sitting area behind the cabin. This enables you to spend a lot of time outdoors and enjoy the quietness of the spot. The cabin is small but very well laid out and it has all the amenities you need, kitchen utensils and even an air fryer. The bed is good sized and the matress is to die for. You will sleep like a baby!! Lee and her husband have been very welcoming and made us very comfortable during our stay and gave us really amazing tips on what we can visit and restaurants in the area! Overall a great experience for us and I will highly recommend for a short stay!!

Brilliant amenities in the cabin, felt very spacious! Loved the rewilding, enjoyed the woodland walk and watching the trains (not noisy, don’t worry!). We can recommend Belton House, walk between Woolthorpe and Belvoir Castle and Mannakin Hall! Hope to stay here again : )

Such a wonderful place to stay. Everything was clean and there was even shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. I came here after moving house and turned up with a car full of stuff at 11 at night. Late check in was not a problem - the lock box was easy to find. Hosts were so kind and helpful, and genuinely helped me out at every turn - lending an airer and storing my suitcases overnight etc - and I absolutely will be coming back and recommending to everybody I know who wants a weekend break. It’s a country side place and so quiet and blissful. The internet is adequate for a few emails but honestly, an early morning coffee in the morning sunshine and hearing nothing but birdsong was more than enough for me.
