Multiple areas for groomed skiing are within 30-45 minute drives. Family friendly 3br home that has a huge yard for activities, a huge deck with panoramic views of the lake, an outdoor grill and firepit. Views of the lake also from nearly every room in the house. We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the space for both working remotely and having a home base for nearby outdoor adventures. The only hiccup came when we attempted to get in - the door code wasn't working but, thankfully, the host responded quickly and reset the code for us remotely. Problem solved quickly. Inside, the coffee setup was OFF THE HOOK (and I'm picky about that), the rooms and beds were comfortable. A single bathroom for so many bedrooms is a bit of a drag but wasn't an issue for us. It's an old house that's been updated very well but maintains a good bit of it's old house charm. That does, however, come with some downsides in terms of old house smells and "rustic" cabinetry. But those were not deal-breakers and we still had such a great, comfortable time in the space. We would definitely book again because we've quickly fallen in love with the nearby and now we know we have a home great base.

It was really the best few nights I ever had with an Airbnb others were kinda small and not really clean something I wouldn’t want to live in but this Airbnb was so nice and clean my family really liked it so did I and I hope who ever gets it next really enjoys it too

We came to Duluth due to our dad being in the hospital. It was a last minute booking and they were very helpful and quick to respond! The space was very clean and comfortable. Lots of fun board games and a great kitchen for cooking! Thank you guys so much, we had a wonderful stay!

We know the area well and love it. Like many of the cabins in the area it is older, but it has been updated and is extremely well taken care of, and everything just works. Even if you arrive after sundown finding it and making yourself at home is super easy. Lastly, or firstly, Erin is just amazing. We are so lucky to have found this gem and Erin made it a dream. Highly recommended. If you are visiting especially during busy season we hope you will help us keep the whole area a special place to visit.

It's in the basement. But still a great place for the nature lovers. Saw the duck family at the creek and a couple of deers on the other side of the creek. Comfortable furniture. Well equipped kitchen. Wish the windows were a little bit lower to enjoy the view.

The Chalet was the perfect space four our multigenerational group to spend Easter weekend. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed to make meals for our group. The kids loved the loft, bunk beds, movie theater setup, activity room and playroom as well as the odd layout, which made for endless rounds of hide and seek! The grandparents appreciated separate spaces for a little more peace and quiet. The yard was an excellent spot for an Easter egg hunt! Overall, we would highly recommend and are looking forward to future stays!

this was an amazing place to spend a long weekend and get away from the city. David's place was pristine and comfortable. The best part was walking down to the beach, finding cool rocks and drift wood, and hot tubbing at night. We can't wait to come back!

We loved our time at this Air BnB. The hosts were very responsive and had lots of extras (kitchen supplies, extra blankets and towels) It’s walkable to Duluth’s downtown and in a quiet neighborhood. They gave us local recommendations as we traveled with a three year old and eleven month old. We would definitely stay here again!
