We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! It exceeded all our expectations and suited our needs perfectly. The hosts are excellent communicators and ensured our trip went smoothly from start to end. I would absolutely recommend staying at Paddler’s Paradise 😊

Dianne was a great host! Responded quickly, and super friendly! Our stay was just what my family of 4 needed. The water is shallow and clear, the game room got a lot of use, the hot tub looking over the lake was perfection, we enjoyed s’mores by the fire and I loved the hanging lights outside. We would ABSOLUTELY stay at Dianne’s place again! Thanks so much for a comfortable stay!

Anna was wonderful the whole trip, she was responsive and always checking in to see how we’re doing. The place was nice and clean but felt so at home. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms and rooms were nice and clean. My kids love the snacks and drinks Anna had stocked there for us. The hot tub was my family’s favorite thing since it was a little chilly at the time that we went, my family did not want to get out. Overall it was a wonderful place and I’m glad we booked with Anna. It was a great way to start summer vacation for the kids. Thank you so much to Anna for opening up her home. We will definitely be coming back.

Great place to stay for any trip in the Duluth area! House was clean and the downstairs games were great.

Had a wonderful cousins weekend here! Was close to town, we were able to explore the city yet return to the home and relax in the hot tub. Hosts were very responsive and home was just as described. Thank you, would definitely stay here again!

Phenomenal place to stay. The home is very spacious; it is absolutely beautiful with lake views from almost every corner of the house. We had a blast with the kayaks, hot tub, pontoon and fishing from the dock. So much to do in such a peaceful, gorgeous area. It was nicely secluded, but right on the beach and an easy drive to stores. There are multiple seating areas, multiple decks, and even a fire pit. This was truly an incredible vacation made possible by this home and the wonderful host, Katie. We hope to return here next summer!

We had a great stay at the Island Lake Getaway. Fishing was great right off the dock. We were able to use kayaks and pedal boats, and they also had lots of sand toys and games for the kids to play outside. There isn’t anything that could have made this a better stay than it was! We were so impressed with the property, and all the family who came to visit was also blown away by how beautiful it was. We usually book a hotel when we stay in Duluth, but this was so much better for our family of 4.

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The place was so cute and cozy and was exceptionally clean! You’re close to great food and fun while also being one with nature! Jeremy and Sandra were great hosts and super helpful! Would absolutely recommend this place. Thank you!!

Loved the house. We had way more space than we needed for the weekend and it was lovely. All the amenities listed were available and worked.

The farmhouse is very clean and decorated from the past. So quiet. Apple trees were in full blossom. Lovely trails surround the property. Ann and Dave are friendly and helped us with great directions to easily find the beach as well as a lovely kayaking spot. We enjoyed the peacefulness of this AIRBNB.

Nancy was a fantastic host! Her home was beautiful, spotless, and just right for two. The lakefront views were stunning, especially with the beach just steps from the back door. The kitchen and pantry were well-stocked and made cooking easy. Everything about the stay, inside and out, was perfect. I'll be recommending to family and friends.

We loved our stay at this North Shore gem! The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. The sauna was great, with easy access to the lake for plunging (bring water shoes for the rocks). Our kids loved looking at rocks along the shore and nearby Brighton Beach. Lester Park is very close and also worth a visit. Be aware there is one bath and it's on the 2nd floor (it wasn't an issue for us). The back porch was a great spot for the group to hang and eat meals. beautiful views from the back of the house. Beds were comfortable. Recommended!

We had a wonderful stay! I was traveling with my 5-year-old and 3-year-old, and this place couldn’t have been more perfect for a family getaway. The kids loved spending time by the lake, playing with the extra toys and games on the property, and especially making s’mores by the fire at night. It was the kind of stay where you truly make lasting memories together. A special shoutout to Daniela. She was fantastic. Super attentive, quick to respond, and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Her personal touch made the whole experience even better. What a place and what a view! A great time was had by our family of 7 in this amazing place. We had lots of great communication from the host on our stay. It was a place that we shared great meals with the well stocked kitchen and grill, played games and laughed around the amazing north woods dining table, and we were able to get to all the parks and attractions that we wanted with the convenient location on Hwy 61. Thanks so much for a great place to stay...we've already recommended you to a number of friends :)

we had a great stay, there were a few mechanical issues that were solved right away for us. my only real issue was the price was a bit high, especially compared to some nearby rentals, however it is a beautiful place to stay.

Located across from a school with a playground. The main floor has three rooms, two of them are on the medium large side the third is smaller (perfect for kids room). We had family members with kids visit us and the small room was great for nap time. The basement has a lot of free space, a bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. The kitchen had a good variety of dishes and utensils. Fridge was equipped with condiments and freezer had some food too. The rooms were clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay at this place!

Our party of 6 really enjoyed our stay at Jean's place for 3 nights. The home was spotless and was very comfortable and well-appointed for cooking (including things like a colander and multi function toaster and a gas grill) as well as relaxing (various cards, games, books. We enjoyed exploring the beach and woods as well as sunrise and sunsets and nearby amenities (Betty's Pies! Castle Danger Brewery!) hikes (Bean and Bear Lakes, Temperance River, Gooseberry Falls) and historical sites (Split Rock Lighthouse). There is also a pool and hot tub. a quick walk away. The grounds and property are very well maintained and although it was a holiday weekend and full of other occupants, it was generally very quiet. Beds were comfortable and there were ample linens. We appreciated finding soap, shampoo and conditioner (hot showers with good water pressure!) as well as coffee, sugar and spices. Light/sound-sensitive sleepers may not want to choose the loft bedroom which is open,facing skylite

Jacob's beautiful home was perfect for our large family. Our Hawaii themed birthday party was a hit and your home offered the ideal space for making lasting memories. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The location was also very convenient. It was just a few minutes away from the hockey rink where we enjoyed a fun filled tournament. We were happy with the local businesses in town providing our food, drinks, decor and cake. Thank you Jacob for the great hospitality! Our stay was special and memorable. We would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful lake home! We really enjoyed our stay here, very close to Lake Superior and Gooseberry falls a short drive away. Everything was clean and cozy, our son loved all the little black bear decorations :)
