Townhome vacation rentals in Dolores Hidalgo

We spent 6 weeks at Jay's home in magical San Miguel de Allende. The house is almost too beautiful to describe. It quickly felt like home. Four of our kids stayed with us for a week. With its 3 well-separated suites, we all felt like we were guests at a 5-star hotel. The home is just an 8-min walk to the center of San Miguel, with its main plaza (El Jardín) and grand cathedral (La Parroquia). There are more than 100 great restaurants within walking distance. San Miguel probably has the most exquisite concentration of outstanding & beautiful restaurants of any city we've ever visited. Although close to the city center, Jay's home is high enough up a hill that the panoramic view from the rooftop terrace is mesmerizing, especially at night. Housekeeper Maria Luisa is a joy. She attends to the home for 6 hrs/day, 3 days a week. She's also the gardener, as there are 100's of lush, beautiful plants that need ongoing attention. In summary, we had a great experience. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house, perfect for a large group, all rooms are independent. It has several balconies with a spectacular view. Highly recommend this house.

Our family of 5 + dog had a great stay at this place. We felt comfortable and safe. Beautiful Mexican architecture and decor inside, kitchen is sufficiently equipped and the view is gorgeous. It’s a big house with 3 or 4 apartments. Irene’s place is very private, and we only ever saw movement in one other apartment. The apartment is divided into 3 actual floors, and additionally one bedroom is a few stairs from the middle floor. The layout is absolutely beautiful, but if you have small kids you need to be looking after them a lot. In addition to a lot of stairs there’s a 1,5 meter drop from the dining room to the living room. It’s located in a sort of a border area between a nice neighborhood leading to the historical center and a dodgy neighborhood. We were advised to not go to the latter for security (“don’t go left from the gate as there are unpleasant people”). I’m any case, the house seemed safe, and we didn’t feel unsafe walking home from the center after dark.

The place had great decorations, spacious and beautiful sitting areas. Everything was fine-no problems getting there or with any amenities. We really enjoyed our stay.

Jennifer was an ideal host. Always responded immediately to messages. The rental was clean, spacious and in a good neighborhood with all conveniences close by. Beds were very comfortable. Several nice restaurants close by. Marisol cleaned weekly. Highly recommend.

If you are planning to visit Allende, I personally recommend Victor's place. The house is in a gated community, very clean, safe, cozy and amazingly beautiful in the inside and the outside. The personnel is very helpful from the moment you arrive. Moreover, the location is a few minutes walking distance from the main plaza, but if you need transportation taxi and uber is available. I can't express how grateful I am to have chosen Victor's place for my stay in Allende. Trust me fellow travelers, I've traveled to many places and have stayed in many houses, and Victor's house definitely represents the colorful, artistic beauty of San Miguel de Allende. Now about Victor himself, he is very helpful, amazing communication, and fast response times when you need him. Victor definitely an amazing host. Cheers!

This stay exceeded our expectations. I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our stay and the friendly welcome and assistance. Every amenity we could imagine was provided from coffee filters to ziplock bags, kids’ art supplies, nightlights, air mattress, office supplies—you name it. The staff at the apartment complex and neighbors were also friendly. Such an easy walk into town yet in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. We’ll be back! Thank you.

Excellent stay, exactly as described in the photos and a very pleasant atmosphere

We really enjoyed Slivano's house, very comfortable, nice and quiet. I recommend it if you travel by car to get around, as it is not so central, but it is ideal for resting perfectly on the shores of SMA. Access and communication always flowed. This house is really very nice, comfortable, spacious and has everything you need. I would definitely come back.

We stayed the whole family in the house, we passed it super father, the girls had fun with the games and the elders put their music quiet, in the kitchen we had everything we needed and we enjoyed a good stay. Thank you for everything!

The cozy house is practically new, in great condition and has everything for the stay, it makes you feel at home. Just like the photos. Always hot water. Ana is always friendly and attentive, responds quickly and with clear arrival instructions. We would have liked to take advantage of the terrace with the grill and its hall, but we use only one night for sleeping. The location is accessible, at the entrance to San Miguel and 10 minutes from downtown by car. Next to Supermarket Bank and Plaza Commercial. In a nice and safe area. I would definitely come back.

I loved everything about Casa Bernardette. Since we arrived at the subdivision, it was very nice and when we opened the door of the house we were delighted with the layout, the cleanliness and how beautiful it was in general. It has a super functional terrace on the ground floor to relax or eat alfresco, which I really enjoyed. Every detail of the house of both construction and decoration is pleasantly designed for guest functionality. We were also able to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi and playgrounds with the girls and I can say that they had a spectacular time these days. Best of all? It's a perfect distance from the SMA Center- close enough to get there fast and enjoy the area's shops, restaurants and culture and recreation spaces, and secluded enough not to suffer at all hours from the full and saturated that the Center can be in high season. Very close to the San Lucas vineyards that are a great experience. 11! Amazing stay

Excellent reception, very attentive and understandable for arrival

We loved the place, very clean and super comfortable! Great location, we were able to walk downtown and go to the nice restaurants and places they recommended. We felt super safe in the private and slept perfect without street noises:)

Very cozy and with a feeling of peace and quiet

We really liked the house as it had everything to make us feel at home and the grandchildren really enjoyed the amenities. We also asked for massages and it was a plus. They were well worth it. The only thing I would recommend is better pillows and also allowing guests to leave a little later. We had to rush on the day of departure.
