It was a great stay. Nice apartment near the center of San Miguel. Just 10 minutes to drive. Nice overview to the City. Would book again.

Beautiful spacious home. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get the jacuzzi to heat up but still enjoyed the cold water in the Mexico heat. Two of the days the bedroom next to the kitchen didn’t have hot water in the shower. Beds were comfortable. Overall we enjoyed the stayed since it was in a perfect location.

To say this home is special is an understatement. I've traveled around the world many times (as have the 4 women who came), and this place has is understated Old World elegance. It was difficult to understand the layout of the home before going even tho' we asked several questions. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house (1 of which is upstairs via a gorgeous staircase). There is a separate apartment that connects via a second courtyard off the living room. It is spread over 3 floors...the bottom is a sitting room/bar, the 2nd a small room with twin beds, the 3rd level a bedroom on the top terrace & bathroom. The owners were very responsive. The week we were there it was 95+ degrees. While the bedrooms have AC, the units on the top floors couldn't keep the units cool without an added fan. The owner was so kind to even offer me her personal apartment next door due to the heat, however, an additional fan cooled off my room and it wasn't necessary. VERY SPECIAL PROPERTY.

Magnificent hidden gem! This property is better than the photos, and allows you to live in a Spanish Colonial townhome/mansion. Truly a gorgeous oasis, and also an art collector's home, filled with beautiful things, and fully stocked for your comfort. The pool and courtyard fountain make you feel like you are in a private resort. The 4th floor roof top covered living/dining/bar/fireplace is perfect to watch the sunset with a cocktail or glass of wine with a stunning nighttime view of two church steeples. The property is so lush with potted plants and flowers that a gardener tends to it. I can't say enough good things about this property and excellent location. The best part is Rosalinda the cook, and Leticia the chambermaid. They are the sweetest and kindest souls; true caregivers. You can pick out recipes from the binders/cookbooks in the kitchen, give them money for groceries and they will cook 2 meals a day for you. We felt like royalty! Jod's dining recommendations were 5-Star!

It's a very beautiful house, much better than what you see in the photos, we felt very comfortable because we were looking for privacy to have a nice time with the family and rest... without a doubt and, if the hosts don't mind, we would like to return!!! we had a great time and everything was very nice... even the people in the development were very kind, they guided us to get in and out!!! excellent weekend with my mom and my sisters' moms!!! Excellent place, a very spacious house to enjoy with the family.

We didn’t know much about Villas Xichu when we booked it — it just seemed to be a convenient and reasonably priced higher-end accommodation. But Gloria was extremely friendly and communicative from the word “go”, checking in with us frequently as our stay approached. When we finally arrived (while Gloria herself was abroad), the staff welcomed us right away, and we were very pleasantly surprised to learn we had been upgraded to the nuptial suite. This was a significant upgrade to a beautiful apartment with a stunning view of SMA, amazing decor and many thoughtful amenities. Gloria continued to check in how we were finding things, made us feel right at home and part of the Villas Xichu family! I heartily recommend and can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay here. The absolute BEST location for enjoying San Miguel. It was perfect for our multigenerational family and plenty of room and privacy for everything. The team was so kind and we really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was just what we expected: nice, quiet and comfortable. The accommodation is as described in the publication and with everything you need to enjoy the weekend. The area is safe and very quiet, ideal for resting. The beds are very comfortable, the services work perfectly and the place was well prepared. In addition, Hector was an excellent host, he was always very attentive and helpful before and during our stay, which made everything much easier. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.
