Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Contra Costa County

Mary and her husband, Jason, were delightful to work with. We have stayed here twice and will continue to stay there the next time we visit Martinez. This is our home away from home in Martinez and always feel welcome at Mary's Carriage House.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My family and I had a great stay! The home was exactly as described and pictured online—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was perfect, situated in a safe and quiet neighborhood directly across from an elementary school and a church. It’s also conveniently close to downtown Concord, which made getting around easy. I truly appreciated the peaceful environment and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Steve’s place was great! Most of all we loved the location with easy, flat, walkable access to all the great restaurants and shopping in downtown Walnut Creek. The unit itself was clean and comfortable, with pictures/info as described. Would definitely recommend and/or stay here again!

The nicest Airbnb we have stayed in! Kenney thought of every detail and delivered above and beyond., from the updated super clean bathrooms, to the fully stocked kitchen and plenty of room for more than one cook, to the comfy beds and plenty of blankets and towels. The home is gorgeous with lots of space and a beautiful backyard. The weather was gorgeous. Kenney quickly responded to a situation. Couldn’t ask for a better house and host! Thanks for a beautiful stay in Concord! We will stay again when in the area!

Design-minded accommodation, with every little detail thought out. Very elegantly furnished. Quiet street. The feeling is of ultimate comfort. and Jana is super responsive, to boot. Basically, awesome.

We had a wonderful stay at Steve’s house. Everything was great from check in to check out. Comfortable, spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the back patio and the close proximity to downtown. We appreciated the excellent communication, the ease of entry and parking in driveway. We hope that we will be able to stay here the next time we visit Walnut Creek!

Armen’s place was great. House was clean and had everything we needed. It was in a great area.

The house was comfortable and clean. Having the park so close by was a big perk and it was wonderful being able to enjoy both the home and the surroundings with the family. The host was proactive in their communication and we had no complaints about our stay.

I had a great stay at Kate's. You do need a rental car as the place is in the Oakland hills. I only had a rental car for part of my stay, so i was indoors the entirety of my stay and I loved it. Pro's, safe neighborhood, super easy self check in. I loved all of the plants and natural lighting just like in the pictures. I work from home, so having a work desk was great! The kitchen came with a ton of spices, which worked for me because I cooked during my stay. The bathroom and shower were great with the double shower head and hot water pressure!! Also great that Kate had fans and a heater available. Con's, my only issues if I had to list any would be, like other guest mentioned is that the walls are incredibly thin and you can hear almost everything! Which can somewhat take away the privacy aspect. I stayed for 6 days and I would definitely stay again!!

Sarah was very helpful in opening up her doors to us! We had a work trip in Napa and her stay was very convenient for us due to its proximity. Her place was clean and had all amenities we needed, it was also very private and a great place to unwind and relax. Thank you for hosting us! 5***** host!

Dennis & Tiiu's place was perfect for our needs. We stayed for a week while in town visiting our son, who lives only a few minutes away, so it was a perfect location for us. The location was peaceful and quite. The house was cozy and suitable for two people. It was a little smaller than it looked in the pictures but again, it worked for the two of us. The amenities were as described. We would definitely stay again.

this is now a new fave place to stay in the Bay, loved the view from the "overlook" and felt like I had enough privacy. Having a space to park in the driveway is a plus and the place is fully equipped for a great time. There was even wine for me and my partner. beautiful space and I had a great time - wish I could've stayed longer!

Easy walk to Lake Merritt or 12th St BART stations. One block from Lake Merritt. Quiet building. Perfect.

Very convenient location, easy walk to UC Berkeley. Even though it's near a busy intersection, it felt very quiet and peaceful. The unit is much more spacious than I was anticipating and it was nice to have a complete kitchen. Al is a very kind and responsive host. I would definitely recommend!

Amy met me to give me the keys and walked me through the condo to explain everything. It was a very personal approach. She also reached out to me the first morning to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Everything was spotless and very high end. The place was very quiet and peaceful. I especially enjoyed the patio. I would highly recommend Amy's place to anyone looking for a base to enjoy San Francisco. I intend to stay again the next time I need a place in San Francisco for a few days.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully designed place in The Mission. Every detail was thoughtfully curated — from the stylish decor to the smart home features, everything felt both cozy and modern. The space is clearly cared for with great taste and attention. On top of that, the hosts were incredibly flexible and accommodating, which made the experience even smoother. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, design, and a great location in San Francisco.

Ehson's place was a little haven during our stay in San Francisco, located in a wonderful neighborhood. As with any old building, you might hear the upstairs neighbors sometimes, but it's all absolutely worth it for the view and the cozy atmosphere. The sunset from the rooftop terrace is addictive. It’s a great spot: you can walk everywhere, and the cable car is right there. There’s also a great little grocery store on the corner, and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

Perfect place to stay in Alameda with young kids! Kimberly’s condo had a pack and play, highchair, and even toys for my young children to play with. The walk in closet was a great space to put the pack and play to add some separation for nap and overnight sleep. Would definitely stay here again.
