Vacation rentals with a patio in Civitella in Val di Chiana

Tammy and Eme were wonderful hosts. My wife and I booked for quite a long stay as part of a sabbatical in Italy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Casa al Poggio is in a quiet location, surrounded by spectacular countryside, between two small towns, each charming in its own way, and with easy access to both Florence and Siena. Tammy and Eme offered great recommendations regarding places to explore in the local area and a host of tips that helped us get the most out of our stay. We absolutely intend to return and stay with them again.

Great location, right by the Duomo which is one of the most amazing features of the city. The apartment is on 2 levels with stairs, so may not be suitable for older visitors or kids but we had no trouble. The new AC worked well and the bed was really comfy, we slept so well. We enjoyed the outside terrace as the dome was so close. We had a great stay 👍🏻

This was the most magical place to call home while in Tuscany. Marco communicated really well from the beginning, and was available for any questions you may have had. The bathrooms were so clean, the kitchen was well stocked, there were enough pillows and blankets if you got cold and the air conditioning was perfect for those hot days and as a bonus the wifi worked really well. The swimming pool was only a few steps away and had a breathtaking view as well and was super clean. The sunsets were to die for on the front patio and they even provide a table with an umbrella if you want to dine outdoors. This place was so beautiful and felt like home, it was our favourite place in all of Italy.

Although there were a couple of issues with one tv and the washer dryer, Teona, Ivanna's property manager was always responsive and followed up to see that issues were resolved. We thought that the apartment was very beautiful and the neighborhood felt safe. It was quiet, and some of Ivanna's recommendations for restaurants were pe.rfect. We wouldn't hesitate to come back

The apartment was amazing! Very centrally located with a great terrace and stocked with everything you need and so many little extras! Being able to park at their farm made it super easy to get out and explore the area. You will not find better hosts than Leonie and Nico. They were super responsive and I really appreciated Leonie making all of our dinner reservations. The activities they recommended were the best! Especially a not to be missed experience at Caseificio Piu! This is a very special place and we will definitely be back.

A stunning location hosted by the nicest people! Very communicative and gave perfect instructions to get there. Inside the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. The bed is on the harder side if that suits your preference but plenty of blankets and didn’t even need to touch the heat for a cooler nights. If you are offered a dinner and wine pairing, just say yes immediately. We didn’t know where to set our expectations for that night but it certainly exceeded anything we had in our heads. Overall absolutely fantastic place Sara and Simone have and after you sit outside at sunset you will not want to leave!

Alessandro ist ein super netter Typ. Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur traumhaft schön. Der Ausblick ist einmalig und das kleine Haus ist sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen. Es war einfach ein toller Urlaub und wir haben uns dort wie Zuhause gefühlt

We had a lovely stay here. The location was perfect—exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful, quiet, surrounded by nature, with classic rustic, yet elegant furnishings. The villa is gorgeous with attention to design & detail. For 6 women, it was perfect for us each to have our own bedroom and space to relax. Each room had its own unique view and touch. There are also plenty of common spaces throughout the house for connecting together. The kitchen is large enough and fully equipped for plenty of great meals to be prepared and enjoyed together. The dining room is nice to enjoy a more elegant meal. The outdoor spaces are beautiful. We used the outdoor terrace for watching the sunset, enjoying brunch, and making pizzas. The washing machine and dryer are easy to use. The pool area is beautiful and there are plenty of outdoor spaces to go for a walk and enjoy the surrounding nature. The hospitality was unmatched from Tristan & Angela. I will absolutely book again and hope to return soon!

E stata una splendida esperienza, Daniela la proprietaria è una persona meravigliosa, la sua dolce accoglienza ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Con i suoi splendidi amici a quattro zampe e i suoi dolcissimi cavalli ci ha fatto apprezzare ancora di più il bellissimo contesto naturale in cui eravamo immersi. A pochissimi minuti dal centro di Arezzo e sicuramente un’ottima posizione per chi come noi ama la natura ma apprezza anche la parte storica e più turistica della bellissima Arezzo. Un ottimo connubio direi tra natura e storicità. Grazie alla disponibilità e all impeccabile professionalità di Virginia che ci ha supportato per tutto il soggiorno, con gentilezza e puntualità. Sicuramente un’ esperienza indimenticabile da ripetere anche in primavera quando il paesaggio si trasforma e le giornate più soleggiate ci permetteranno di fare passeggiate e altre attività nella zona. Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Tamara und Niccolò – vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die beiden sind unglaublich herzliche, aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, immer gut erreichbar und voller großartiger Tipps zur Umgebung. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass sie ohne Aufpreis unsere Wäsche gewaschen haben – eine wirklich nette und unerwartete Geste. Außerdem warteten zur Begrüßung kostenlose Snacks und Getränke auf uns – ein liebevolles Detail, das sofort für eine angenehme Atmosphäre gesorgt hat. Tamara und Niccolò haben uns tolle Empfehlungen gegeben: schöne Ausflugsziele in der Nähe, eine zuverlässige Scooter-Vermietung und sogar eine Weinverkostung, die zu den Highlights unserer Reise zählte. Die Unterkunft war makellos sauber, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – man merkt sofort, wie viel Wert sie auf das Wohl ihrer Gäste legen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen – absolut empfehlenswert!

Beautiful place and the setting is amazing. Highly recommend if you want to be a stone’s throw from all the major Tuscany villages and main cities with the Tuscany touch. Whatever you do or go. Take at least two days to enjoy this wonderful escape in a villa in the forest. You can hear the trees and birds comfort your soul.

Duddova ist ein kleiner, sehr ruhiger Ort – ideal für alle, die Entspannung und Abgeschiedenheit suchen. Wir durften 3 wundervolle Wochen in Emanuele's liebevoll saniertem Haus verbringen – und es war noch schöner, wie die Fotos es versprechen. Die Räume sind großzügig geschnitten und bieten viel Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der wunderschöne Garten und der fantastische Ausblick von der Terrasse sowie aus dem Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer. Der Blick über das Tal ist einfach unbezahlbar! Check-in und Check-out waren absolut unkompliziert. Das Grundstück ist sehr privat gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail angelegt – eine echte Oase der Ruhe. Die Lage eignet sich hervorragend, um die Umgebung und die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden – ein Auto ist dafür allerdings unerlässlich. Great place! Beautiful area and close to the activities we had planned. Very clean and spacious apartment - clear instructions.

Unfortunately our stay was pretty short (2 nights only), but we loved it a lot and will definitely be back in the future. The house is on a beautiful ground with lots of vegetation and is handled by a caring owner. Inside it looked clean and everything needed was available. Can only recommend!

Lorenzo was such an amazing host. Not only was he very accommodating but also super helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you for making our mother daughter trip to Florence memorable!

We absolutely loved this place. The rooftop balcony was amazing and had the best view of the Duomo. We loved spending our mornings and evenings sitting there. It was a nice location because it was a 15 minute walk to the Duomo so you could be in the heart of Florence quickly, but were able to be out in a quieter area when you wanted to get away. There was a very nice cafe near that we enjoyed coffee and pastries at every morning. Jonny and Michelle were very attentive to anything we needed during our stay. They even were able to accommodate an early check-in so we weren't stuck dragging around our luggage for hours. If we were back in the area, I would book again!

Our stay at Leonardo’s place was absolutely unforgettable! First of all, Leonardo was an exceptional host—by far the best we’ve ever had on Airbnb. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. As a thoughtful gesture, he greeted us with homemade cake on our first day and even shared fresh zucchini from his garden—such a warm and personal touch! The home itself exceeded our expectations; it was even more beautiful than the photos. Every detail was perfect—from the cozy rooms and stunning views to the relaxing pool and the magical fireflies that lit up the night. The entire setting was peaceful, private, and had a wonderfully romantic atmosphere. We truly enjoyed every moment and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a special getaway. Even prior to booking the apartment, the host were very responsive to our questions. Once we booked it, they were very proactive and welcoming us to the apartment. Flexible check-in and they met us at the property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like home. They were very responsive during our trip. Great quiet location. 10 minutes walking to the Domo area. Local area, full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

We had the best time!! The cutest little apartment with a nice little balcony. Loved the exposed beams and the kitchen. It was very walkable to great restaurants and scenic views, also far enough away were you are not worried about noise at night. Host was super responsive and had excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to do!

Deanna warmly welcomed us into her beautiful home in the heart of Florence. Communication with her was effortless throughout our stay. The apartment was spotless and incredibly spacious for four people, with two separate bedrooms. The bed was absolutely divine! The location couldn’t be more convenient—just a short walk from the train station and all of Florence’s iconic landmarks. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit. Grazie mille, Deanna!

We cannot speak highly enough of Fabrizio’s accommodations. We made a last-minute booking after deciding to spend a few days in Florence during our journey to Rome. Fabrizio responded promptly and was able to arrange an early check-in for us on short notice. The apartment was spotless, and all amenities exceeded our expectations. Its location was ideal. Should we return to Florence, this would unquestionably be our preferred place to stay each time!
