Graziella was very kind and picked me up at the bus station. There was a problem with the shower and she quickly had a plumber come and fix it. The apartment has an incredible view of the valley below and the apartment is a good fit for a couple. Thanks Graziella for everything. Jeff

I stayed in thisapartment for just one night, using this just for a place to sleep following a wedding nearby. the surprise was immediate: as soon as you access the apartment, after having done a really quick and simple self check-in, immediately the reception of the apartment is remarkable both because the apartment is well done, and because the host reserves pampering his guest. On the table I found a small welcome: white pizza, ham, and chips. I thought it was really a beautiful gesture this but it wasn't over. Like all the times I enter a bnb, I make sure that at least there is water and coffee (because let's face it is not always safe to find them!!!), but as soon as I open the fridge, surprise, it was really full of everything: eggs, juices, milk, a bottle of water, crockery, butter, lemon and hearing... a cake, but not of the packaged ones! and it doesn't end here, I look up and find a bowl full of fresh fruit and in the pantry there was really the world: from any type of long-run (vegetable and lactation-free) to the cloud, jams, packed croissants, small snacks... of course, the apartment was a cleanliness comparable to that of a hotel, or maybe more. what can I say... go now!!!!! Claudia has shown herself to be a host who is really attentive to the little things and pampering her guest!

This is the second summer in a row that we staid at Villa Humbourg. Just the fact that we decided to come back after a first stay is s clear sign how much we appreciated the place and the experience. Without repeating last year's review, I would just confirm that the villa is extremely picturesque in a beautiful typical Tuscan setting (villa on top of a hill with cypress entryway taking you to the gate) and the flat is large for 4-5 people (nearly 100 m2) in perfect conditions and cleanliness. The rapport with the owners is authentic and they are more than helpful. As indicated in the narrative for the house, it is necessary to have a car to get there and go around. Then everything is very close: Certaldo (10'), San Gimignano (30'), Sienna (40'), Florence (50'), etc. I would just had that the olive oil of Villa Humbourg is exceptional and that we have been clients now for a year ordering their delicious olive oil to France! Many thanks Signora Ludovica, hoping and wishing to go back in the future.

Vilmo is a true super host. He is most considerate and also very funny. We felt very welcomed and had a lot to talk to each other about. We really appreciated he spending the time to tell us about the place and the history. He also prepared a lots of food for us. It made us felt right at home. The location can not be better. It was close to all of the places we would like to visit. The only regret is that we did not have time stay longer. We will definitely come back. We highly recommend Vilmo’s place for any one who likes to visit Tuscany!

We had a wonderful stay. It was out of the main city but super close and easy to get to. Bus station was a 10 minute walk and easy to navigate. Had great little restaurants and bars at walking distance. The home was clean and was we expected. They had a few things they are in the middle of fixing/ addressing in the home. They made us aware of everything and were on top of addressing it to make our stay comfortable.

Had a wonderful stay at Matteo’s place. The place is located on a tiny hill with breathtaking views from the balcony. The sunsets were amazing. I had dinner with Matteo and his family everyday of my stay and the food was extraordinary. Matteo and his wife prepared dishes that were passed on from their grandmothers. The two dogs at the place were very friendly and happy to have guests. Matteo recommended a local weekly market which was great and also recommended amazing local vineyards to visit. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Matteo’s place.
