Vacation rentals with a kayak in Central Florida

Great, private location in Homosassa. Easily walkable to McRae's, the Monkey Bar and a few other spots. The house is as described on AirBnB. It is spacious and comfortable. Susan is a great and quick responding host!

We stayed there last March and nothing has changed even after the storm last year the place looks the same and Larry was very helpful, no disappointments I highly recommend Sun Wild adventure.

We had a great stay! A did a little fishing, swam with manatees, hiked, kayaked and enjoying area restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home! The host was very helpful and responsive. The highlight of our stay was definitely the ability to kayak right out the back door - we paddled out into Mud River Springs and saw manatees absolutely everywhere. It was a magical experience! The yard was peaceful and it was relaxing to sit out with coffee on the deck and watch the wildlife (squirrels, birds, fish). Situated in a small quiet neighborhood (but still close to all the activities we came to the area for), we couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful place to spend our week. We really loved this spot and hope to enjoy it again someday!

We were very happy to find this house. It was perfect for two couples. The best part was taking the provided kayaks out to seven sisters springs. Beautiful. There was also a canoe for those that don’t like kayaks.

We had a fabulous weekend at Kelly’s. We brought our 2 dogs who loved playing in the water. There were plenty of kayaks for our group, and we were close to the action on the main river but tucked back enough to where it was quiet and peaceful at night. The house was clean and updated and had everything we needed for the weekend. We will def be back!

Matt’s home is a great location with many local outdoor activities to partake in on. A private dock with kayaks was our best day out in the canals to experience countless birds and plant life on the water (not sure if I’m disappointed or relieved I didn’t see alligators😜). It was the perfect outdoor private getaway we were looking for. Matt was a great communicator!

We loved our stay manattee cottage. It is characterful, very comfortable, and well equipped. The lakeside setting is idyllic and we enjoyed fishing and kayaking while encountering dolphins and manatees. It is conveniently located for Melbourne downtown and within 15 mins drive of Melbourne beach, and within 30 mins drive of Cocoa beach. Leanda's home was exactly what our family needed over the Christmas holiday. Morning coffee on the screened in porch with sun coming through the small tree was the best way to start our day. Her home is close to everything we wanted to do. We drove into New Smyrna Beach every day which had a variety of beach spots, shopping and restaurants to choose from. We found thrift stores and even made the 2 1/2 hour drive to Crystal River and swam with the manatees. Most importantly Leanda's home came equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen to cook meals and even offered chairs and boogie boards for us to use at the beach. Her home was the peaceful getaway we needed and Leanda was very responsive and made check-in and check-out super simple.

AMAZING. Great hosts, great place! I stayed here by myself and it was heaven on earth. I am a nature lover and this exceeded my expectations. The house & the property are stunning. The house is a lovely mix of tasteful tropical & Victorian decor. The outside is like being in the garden of Eden. So private & peaceful. I was able to meet manatees my first evening taking the kayak out; they were as interested in me as I was in them and came all around me and the baby came up to say hi. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. It was just me and the manatees not another human in sight. The next morning I paddled out again and saw otters playing. I saw turtles, lizards, many beautiful birds, including green heron, great blue heron, and an owl. Coffee in the morning on the patio & a fire at night under the canopy of trees. Close to so much to do- springs, beach, nature parks, but by far the best was being able to paddle pretty much out the back door. I’m so glad I stayed here!!!

Dream cottage was just that! It’s a quiet spot in the perfect location! We saw dolphins, and manatees! Brian was super awesome, and right next door! The remodel of the place was adorable and it was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Maria’s place was a peaceful 5 day getaway. I was able to use her kayaks right on site. Cottage was pristine clean, very comfortable, lovely decorated and amply supplied with little extras. Lots of outdoor activities in surrounding area and terrific restaurants.

This place was so beautiful!!! I can’t wait to revisit.. we woke up to dolphins in the water!!

Everything was great. Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Be prepared to have little to no reception when in the area. The wifi in the house worked fine, though.

It was a beautiful place to stay. Perfect place to disconnect your self from everything. We love our stay!!! The cabin was just perfect for the 3 of us. Love the River and the screened porch.

This place provided us with exactly what we were looking for. it was very quiet and secluded and felt like home. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and we're very responsive and communicative before and throughout our stay. we absolutely loved this little getaway and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a little peace and quiet away from the rest of the world!

Glamping at its best ! Was here for the rodeo with friends and family . We had the boathouse Cabin. Very pristine and clean with a super comfortable mattress. I loved waking up to the sunrise overlooking the river with my morning coffee. Hope to return here again,

We had a great time at this location. It was in a lovely wooded neighborhood that was safe and had access to the Rainbow River. We used a lot of the toys provided by the host including the golf cart and the boat trailer to get the kayaks to the river. The house had just what we needed for sleeping comfortably and relaxing at the end of the day. We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen or fire pit but it was very kind to provide wood for the fire pit! The kitchen had a nice stove as well! The host was also very very attentive and responsive to questions. They made sure we checked in even though we arrived much later than expected. I would wholeheartedly recommend this location to anyone wanting to spend time on the river. The private community access was a huge bonus and benefit!

We had such a wonderful 5 day stay at this lovely cabin! From the moment we arrived we could tell Nancy put so much care into making this a special getaway. The cabin itself was cozy clean and with everything we could possibly need. One of the highlights was the peaceful lake, perfect for fishing and just soaking in the serenity of nature. Our kids absolutely loved feeding the squirrels, birds, and fish with the food she thoughtfully left for them. It was such a sweet touch and made their experience even more magical.she went above and beyond by leaving a basket of snacks for us which she didn’t have to do but it was so appreciated! Nancy left us s’mores which the kids really appreciated. She even provided toothbrushes and other essentials, making sure we had everything we could possibly need. It was so nice to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoy the quiet, peaceful surroundings. We also loved exploring the nearby springs, which were absolutely breathtaking

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at the log cabin. It was everything we hoped for -- cozy, well-appointed, quiet. Our favorite activity was spending mornings reading, paddling, swimming and fishing on the lake. We didn't need to use the A/C at all since the weather was mild and many of the windows had screens.

I stayed the weekend at the cabin with my daughter for my 40th birthday and I PROMISE you we didn't want to leave!!! Jane was sooo sweet and Aaron was our farm hero!🦸‍♀️He taught us to saddle a horse and chop firewood, started our fire pit for us and made sure we were taken care of the entire weekend! But the best part, the aaaaaanimals . . . we adopted a family of the SWEETEST cats on this earth for the weekend, played with the coolest donkeys, goats, horses, chickens . . . it was the absolute BEST! I can't even describe the energy and the ambiance of this place, but I did post a TikTok video to help promote them if you'd like a peek. It was absolutely the weekend we needed and we'll 100% be back! ✨🫶✨
