Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Capital District, New York

This is a place we're already talking about returning to! Landon checked in after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved our stay!

Cody’s place was clean and convenient. The bed is very comfortable and Cody was responsive when we had questions! Our only comment was that the grass was very high when we arrived, but they the front lawn was mowed during our stay. Having the back lawn mowed would have been great since we had our dog with us but overall we had a nice stay and would recommend Cody’s to others!

Wonderful stay. Wish it wasn’t pouring rain so we could’ve enjoyed the beautiful patio and fire pit! The host was extremely accommodating and in great communication. Would definitely come back.

The house and especially the location was wonderful. Very quiet surroundings and great nature. Contacting the very nice hosts was easy and uncomplicated. We found the house as it was described in the advertisement. The furnishings also left nothing to be desired. All in all, it was a lovely stay and we would want to request the house again at any time if we come back to this beautiful area.

We loved this place. Very fun house, and Speculator is a great town. Fun local restaurants and beautiful surroundings. Only stayed a night on our way home from a road trip, and we wished we would have stayed longer. Definitely want to come back.

Another review said it was more beautiful than the pictures and I agree! The home and space was so serene even though it was a bit rainy. My partner and I felt safe and visited some food recommendations. We highly recommend mornings! And We hope to go back! Paul was truly an amazing and responsive host

Adriel’s home was very clean, exactly like the photos, and was very inviting! The host had snacks, coffee, ice in the freezer, and even a spare tooth brush/toothpaste available for the guests! Those little things make a huge difference and go a long way! overall, i definitely recommend!

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb more than once; we have stayed in European homes multiple times. Tim’s place is a gem. Quiet location and colorful decor. We were in town to visit Saratoga for the Belmont Stakes and to celebrate our anniversary. We felt at home and had everything we needed, including a Stewart’s Shops a minute away (if you know the area you know about Stewart’s). On our anniversary, Tim took the time to message us well wishes. If in the area again, we would choose to stay here.

Had a short yet very nice stay at Ben's airbnb. It was much more spacious than the picture. It was also walkable to other restaurants and coffeeshop in the downtown Albany area. I recommend staying at this place.

My mom and I had a great stay at David’s place, it’s clean, thoughtfully decorated with all kinds of unique items and interesting artwork, really cool place. We went to dinner right down the street at Dove+Deer which was fantastic. We walked another block down the street and found an excellent wine shop with super friendly service and local selections. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Thanks so much David, you’re very talented and have a great place 😊

Dan was an exceptional host! I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs, but Dan’s warmth and attention to detail made this an especially memorable stay. Super walkable to downtown, short drive to the state park, and a wonderful unit overall. Looking forward to staying again!

This is a great place for vacation stay - clean and well maintained. Close to a lot of places, attractions, malls, and a variety of restaurants in the area. Joe is a great host - helped us with check in and made sure we are comfortable. We highly recommend!

This is a great home. The decor is inviting, the kitchen is spacious, and the backyard has a great view. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet too.

Betsy was once again a wonderful host. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and she provided many thoughtful extras. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly book with her again.

This condo is absolutely beautiful and comfy! We especially love the bed and pillows.

Agnieszka was easy to work with, and a very considerate host. The condo was perfect for us. We were especially delighted to discover a standard queen bed in a separate little bedroom, in addition to the living room sofa bed pictured on the Airbnb site. Everything we needed was available and easy to find in this thoughtfully equipped apartment. The setting is quiet and lovely. From our private balcony vantage point the nearby pool and pickleball courts appeared to be well maintained. If we have the opportunity to return to the Catskills/Windham NY area, we will definitely hope to book this condo again.

Luiza was a wonderful host. She provided detailed check in and out instructions, as well as local recommendations for our stay. Her place was exactly as pictured and cleaned wonderfully for our arrival. We hope to be back for another ski trip!

I highly recommend Suzanne's place for anyone visiting Windham! She was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and my stay. As someone who travels constantly for work, my schedule can be quite unpredictable, and Suzanne was unbelievably accommodating and flexible with my changing needs. I truly appreciated her understanding and willingness to work with me. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Windham, and the view of the ski resort from the back deck was an unexpected bonus! I only wish I could have stayed longer. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, not just for winter skiing, but also to explore the beautiful surroundings throughout the year.

Stunning location a short walk through lovely Congress park to downtown Saratoga. Scrumptious bakery in easy walking distance. The apartment was delightful: very clean with all the essentials stocked. We loved being able to stop back in during the day for a quick recharge before getting back into the middle of everything. Bright and sunny during the day and quiet and peaceful at night.

What a lovely stay! Located in a very convent area, there was lots to do in the summer months (hiking, swimming in the pool, cooking marshmallows over the fire pit). The place was very clean and well kept. Loved the little journal to read about other’s stays!

Lubov was flexible and easy to speak to. The place was so comfy, had a lot of amenities and items for the kitchen (laundry use, pots/pans, toaster, etc). It was a perfect place to relax and get away from the city.
