Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Caledonian Canal

This was an amazing place for us to stay as an extended family. There were nine of us, plus two dogs, and we rented the Doocot and the Lodge in the grounds. It is located right up in the hills and was blissfully remote yet easily accessible to the A90 to Perth and Dundee. The house itself was very comfortable and exactly as described. The sitting room was amazing with its enormously high ceilings, plenty of squishy sofas and a piano. There was also a Smart TV. For us, the best feature was the enormous dining table which easily seated us all and could have taken several other people too. We had lovely meals together all round the table. It was really memorable. The bathrooms were clean and new. The roll top bath was lovely and super to soak in. Check in, host communications etc were all super easy and they even helped us to have a hot tub ready for our arrival from Fife Hot Tub Hire. All in all, would highly recommend to people looking for a comfortable break away in the hills.

We had a great holiday in Alison’s. The house is comfortable. The situation, close to Eilean Donan Castle, is wonderful. It is a great location for hill walking and for exploring the Northwest Highlands and Skye. Alison was very friendly and helpful.

This is a good base for exploring the Trossachs. The house is comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and spacious accommodation (we were there as three couples). Although it’s on the main road through town, it was very quiet at night. Aaron is a friendly and helpful host and we had a great time here.

Lovely cottage, close to the beach and the town. The cottage was spotlessly clean and incredibly well provisioned. We felt immediately at home and were very comfortable during our stay. Thank you

Sandy’s place was located perfectly! It was a quick easy walk to the city center where there were plenty of restaurants and shops. It was also walkable to the bus tours. The place was clean well outfitted and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for our stay with a family of seven. The kids loved the spacious lounge and plenty of places including garden to play games. The carved wood features made the house feel homely and comfortable including large table for family dinners. The view was breathtaking every day and it was easy to do walks from the house around the coast or into surrounding hills. Definitely recommended for a fantastic holiday on Skye.

We were in town for 3 days. It was a comfy and cozy space. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Close to sight seeing places. Would definitely stay again.

Just perfect. Seemed a bit old at first but couldn’t be further from the truth. All new appliances and fully functional with some charm. Great location, easy parking, walkable to everywhere. Host was always on top of it even during the storm of the century. So thankful for her help. We will be back

This was a phenomenal stay in Inverness. Walkable to all downtown restaurants shops and Ness Island walking trails and parks. Shirt druves to Loch Ness and surrounding tourist attractions. The place was beautiful right down to the fixtures and finishing touches. The hosts went out of their way to help me with a travelling problem I encountered, which they really did not have to do. I am so appreciative and grateful for my stay here!

Great place in a great city! We loved it here! Wonderful location, we were able to walk all over and find tons of things to do. Would absolutely stay here again next visit to Inverness.

Es gibt klare Anweisungen zur Bedienung der Küche. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind ebenfalls ein Pluspunkt. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft sehr gerne. We had an amazing stay at Gillian and Guy's place. We called when we got to the village and were given instructions on how to locate the property. Guy was already waiting for us and gave us a quick tour with all the information we needed. There was fresh flowers, easter eggs, prosecco, and a wee whiskey for us to enjoy. Decorated beautifully and well kitted out. The hottub is on all the time so we were able to get right on in and relax. The sofa was super comfy and the TV is huge, perfect for movie night. Will definitely be back

Un alojamiento hermoso en una zona bastante privilegiada, puedes caminar y tener contacto con la naturaleza de una manera excepcional. Los dueños siempre atentos a las necesidades, únicamente me aprecio extraño que hay instrucciones para todo, hasta justo antes de acostarte la cama tiene un letrero. Fuera de eso es un gran lugar para quedarte por un par de noches

It was a nice stay. We were traveling with a baby and they prepared a baby cot for us, very sweet. The window is directly facing the water, it’s beautiful to look out.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The space was absolutely spotless - meticulously (and I mean meticulously) clean and beautifully presented in every detail. The accommodation is finished to an incredibly high standard. It truly felt like a home away from home. Sam, the host, was amazing, from the initial booking to arriving on site, so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her attention to detail and hospitality made this one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough and would absolutely stay here again. Mairi was the most perfect and wonderful host who made us both feel extremely welcome from the get-go to our first stay in the Scottish Highlands. Mairi provided us with extremely clear instructions on how to find the accommodation which was super helpful and easy to follow. After a delayed check-in as a result of our tyre bursting, Mairi was extremely supportive and understanding and allowed us to check-in later than planned - thank you so much! The Skyfall apartment was the best place we have stayed in. From the apartment being spotlessly clean to pristine standards, the most comfiest bed we've slept in, amazing facilities, a super-relaxing bath-tub to the breathtaking views from the balcony...it was the most perfect, peaceful and relaxing stay you could ever wish for. This was our first stay in the Highlands and we will definitely be back to stay here as this accommodation is perfect for a relaxing visit for exploring some of Scotlands most beautiful landscape. We had a great stay here! The place was comfortable and well-located, with easy access to local shops and restaurants, which made everything really convenient. Stephen was a great host—very responsive and even offered us an extra hour for late check-out, which we appreciated (though we didn’t end up needing it). Just a heads up for future guests: off-street parking isn’t permitted at the property, but there’s a nearby solution—Library car park is just around the corner and worked out fine for us. All in all, a pleasant and easy stay.

We were looking for a cosy getaway from the city and we knew it had to be Pitlochry. The Wee Glangarry was the perfect setting for our holiday, and Jenny and Steve were brilliant hosts. The location was perfect and less than 5 minutes walk away from the centre of town. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The wee studio was perfect for our stay and came equipped with everything we needed we really appreciated the loaf of Sourdough bread from the local bakery along with butter, orange juice and access to a coffee machine it made our breakfast extra special. The patio was perfect for watching the birds and enjoying a visit from a pair of Red Squirrels. We can't wait to come back to Pitlochry and we will definitely be visiting the Wee Glangarry again. 5 ***** all around!

This location is conveniently located a short walking distance to the train station and to town center. The unit was perfectly clean and well thought out. Claire was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend booking here!
