Taigh Carnan - Hidden Gem in Inverness

AdrianaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Visited from the U.S for our honeymoon and this was the perfect place! Located close to the center of the city, so we were able to walk anywhere we wanted while in Inverness! The Airbnb met every need we had, was cozy, and in a private location which was easy to locate! Parking was easy to find as well. Highly recommend staying there if visiting Inverness!!

Burnside Lodge on the Shore of Loch Long, Dornie

Caroline Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was our first time in this part of Scotland and we were lost for words at the beauty of it all. The location was superb to visit Skye and the area around the lodge. Views from the lodge are captivating and we appreciated the comfort of the accommodation. Spacious, warm and filled with light. We were very blessed with wall to wall sunshine and high temperatures so had a marvellous time exploring beaches and walking everyday . There are great many places to see! Staffin was a highlight as we saw a whale in the bay area whilst searching for dinosaur footprints! Thank you .

Magical, relaxing, calming, surrounded by beauty and nature. We cannot recommend Miep and Derrywood highly enough. Our only regret is we didn’t stay for longer, but hope to be back asap. 5/5 isn’t enough, as this home and host (Miep) well exceeded all our expectations. Thank you for the most blissful and memorable stay!!!

Haugh Apartment private parking

SophieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a great stay at Inverness at Rodjana & Ann’s place! The flat looks exactly as the pictures and was clean and well-stocked. I initially had some trouble finding the key box but Rodjana & Ann were super responsive and helped me out immediately. When I discovered a broken handle on the washer and lightbulb in one of the lamps, they sent a staff to look into the problem and fixed it the next day. The beds are super comfortable and we had a fun time cooking at the kitchen. The location was also great - we could easily walk to downtown and access train station, shops and restaurants.

Andy was great at providing instructions and the early access was very handy. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Highly recommend! By far one of the BEST AirBnBs I have ever stayed in. I was so impressed with how clean and well equipped this home was. I felt right at home and with 3 children it made me feel at ease in knowing that we were staying in such a nice home. From the moment we walked in, it smelled clean and the decor was so nice. Gave me all the right vibes. The bathroom is so cute with the green ceiling and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our family a nice meal. The beds were also very comfortable. Definitely enjoyed a good nights rest. And on top of everything it’s extremely central to everything. The host was also very responsive and kind. Thank you for hosting us! Will be back! :)

The Hideaway

DanielRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our two night stay at the Hideaway. Peggy's place was a home from home. It felt so cosy and private. A particular highlight was waking up to views of Ben Nevis and having breakfast overlooking a beautiful Loch. It is also the perfect location for Potter fans like us to explore Glenfinnan viaduct. We also enjoyed wandering along the Loch to the shipwreck watching the beautiful sunset. Peggy was a fantastic host. Very flexible, kind and the most welcoming host on our trip. She gave us lots of recommendations. It is an absolute gem and we didn't want to leave. We can't wait to come back.
