Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ascain

We absolutely loved our stay. The property was lovely as was Morgane. The local area was fantastic with plenty of shops which were walkable as well as some amazing local restaurants, the Italian, Mambo in Capbreton being one of our personal favourites. We’ll definitely be back to stay again and explore more of the area. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

un logement magique dans un cadre si paisible . une maison comme on l’aime, lumineuse, confortable, fait avec goût, un extérieur propice à la détente en famille . tout y est ! pour passer un merveilleux séjour ... merci Samantha pour votre accueil et bravo pour votre si jolie maison .de loin, notre meilleure location. nous avons déjà hâte de reposer nos valises !

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von bruno und Karin empfangen. Karin hat uns auf englisch ein paar gute Ausflugstipps geben können. In dem Haus ist alles vorhanden sogar zwei ältere Fahrräder für kleine Ausflüge. Der Pool war sehr schön und auch warm. Das ganze Haus ist sehr schön und freundlich eingerichtet. Wir waren 2 Familien und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein guter Ausgangsort für einen Strand und Surfer Urlaub. Aber auch nach San Sebastian oder bayonne ist es nicht so weit.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage in Isabel´s Haus und haben uns ab der ersten Minute wohl gefühlt. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen und es ist ALLES und noch mehr vorhanden. Es ist toll eingerichtet und super gepflegt. Eva hat uns vor Empfangen und alles bis ins Detail erklärt. Sowohl Isabel, wie auch Eva waren bei Fragen sofort erreichbar und haben uns auch hilfreiche Tips für die Umgebung gegeben. Der Pool war ebenfalls top gepflegt und nach einem schönen Strandtag nochmals eine tolle Abkühlung für nachmittags. Die Schlafräume sind klimatisiert, jedoch sind wir noch gut ohne ausgekommen. Der Ventilator im Wohnbereich schafft ein sehr angenehmes Raumklima und durch die komplett zu öffnenden Schiebefenster ist das Wohnzimmer praktisch im Garten. Für uns als Familie (3 Kinder) war Das Haus Ideal und hat eine fantastische Größe. Es liegt super zentral um auch Ausflüge wie z.B. nach Biarritz, San Sebastian oder in die Pyrenäen zu unternehmen. All in all 5 Sterne oder 100 Punkte. Vielen Dank

We were met with very friendly and welcoming hosts, Felipe and Elena. We immediately felt at home in their beautiful spacious house, garden and terrace. It's situated close to everything, the beach, the town, restaurants etc. it's all in walking distance, which was great for us and our 2 dogs . Also it's only a short drive (or take a train) over to Spain . There is so much to do. Staying in was also a treat with the terrace with bay views watching sunsets and the secluded private garden with BBQ and lovely garden lights or just simply lazing about sunbathing on the sun loungers. Our stay was a complete joy from start to finish , no complaints whatsoever. Thank you so much Felipe and Elena for your kindness and for our stay in your wonderful house. Venus sur Sare pour un mariage au Domaine Au milieu des fougères, la localisation du bien d'Amaia était idéal. La location offre espace, fraîcheur et positionnement stratégique à l'égard du centre de Sare. Ma famille et moi-même étions très heureux du séjour. Je recommande sans hésitation !

Un endroit très au calme, dans une magnifique nature. L’intérieur est très joli et très spacieux. Parfait pour se reposer et visiter le Pays basque. Il est juste dommage de ne pas avoir un extérieur pour encore plus profiter de la nature et pouvoir manger dehors.

What a fantastic stay, perfect location and absolutely stunning views across La Concha from the apartment. Trausa was a super host, extremely helpful and flexible and the directions were absolutely perfect for us to find her, despite our late arrival. We felt immediately at home and relaxed, the apartment had everything you could need and the beds were so comfy. The hidden terraced garden at the back was so lovely too. We really hope to return very soon.

Très agréable séjour, le Pays Basque est une très belle région, riche en paysages et découvertes variées. L'appartement est intégré dans une Labourdine familiale typique de la région, au cœur de la campagne à 10mn à peine en voiture de Sare, Ainhoa ou Espelette mais aussi 30mn des plages de Saint Jean de Luz et Ciboure. De nombreuses balades et randonnées au départ du logement ou d'ailleurs...Peyo est un hôte accueillant, sympathique et disponible et de bon conseille. Merci aux poulettes pour les œufs frais ;-)

Great stay in this apartment in a quiet part of town but within walking distance of all the things to see and do. The apartment is super well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Juan was the perfect host dropping us local recommendations and answering all our questions and queries promptly.

We loved this place! Check in was very easy and it the host was very responsive. The area is beautiful with restaurants and cafes nearby and so close to the beach. It is a bit of a walk into the old town but we got taxi's around 10-15 Euro each way. I can highly recommend this place for a stay in San Sebastian.

We spent a wonderful week at Olivia's place in August. The place is amazing, with that great "old French country house" feel but with plenty of modern amenities. We took full advantage of the large kitchen and the pool in the backyard. We also used the dishwasher and washing machine multiple times. The house is located in the small village of Ahetze, which was exactly what we wanted. Very quiet, but also very easy to drive to the beaches on the coast, out into the Basque countryside, or over the border to San Sebastian and Bilbao. There's a large parking area in front of the house as well. Olivia was a fantastic host - incredibly communicative, friendly and helpful. Overall, it was one of our favorite AirBnb houses that we've ever stayed in. We'd love to come back!

Das Haus ist super modern und bat reichlich Platz für unsere Gruppe von 12 Personen. Auch dass wir mit unserem Hund anreisen konnten ist ein grosser Pluspunkt. Der Pool wie auch der Terrassenbereich waren gegenüber dem Innenbereich nicht gleich sauber. Es fiel jedoch auch sehr viel Blütenstaub während unserer Ankunft. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen! Wir verbrachten super coole Tage in Seignosse und kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderschöne Villa direkt am Strand gelegen. Super unkomplizierte Kommunikation und Check in. Auch Handtücher wurden zur Verfügung gestellt auf Nachfrage und ohne Extrakosten.

Nous séjournions entre amis avec 4 enfants en bas âge et tout s’est déroulé à merveille ! La maison était parfaitement équipée pour tous nous accueillir. Nous avons logé dans la partie « chambres » avec les enfants afin de ne pas gêner ceux qui n’en ont pas. Cela permettait également de faire une séparation sonore pour le soir. Lynn et Kristof nous ont mis à disposition du matériel de puériculture, ce qui nous a bien soulagé ! Ils avaient tout installé avant notre arrivée, y compris la barrière de sécurité pour la piscine. La cuisine est très bien équipée, les espaces sont grands. La maison est très bien située, à portée de marche de la plage, que nous vous recommandons au coucher du soleil! Tout est très carré dans la communication; nous avons pu préparer notre arrivée au mieux. Et tout était exactement conforme à la description ! Bref, un super séjour et nous recommandons cette maison à 200%!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans la maison de Camille. Elle est grande et très agréable à vivre, idéalement située au calme tout en étant juste à côté du centre du joli village de Sare. Parfait pour découvrir la région tout en ayant un lieu calme et agréable !

We had a wonderful week at this lovely place, full of 70s charm. Everything has its own style — slightly dated, but very well maintained and in great condition. We stayed with four children under the age of two, and they truly had the time of their lives. The garden is a highlight, with both sunny and shady spots under beautiful old trees — perfect for little explorers. The pool was still a bit cool at this time of year, but ideal for a refreshing dip. We also brought a small baby pool, which worked perfectly for the toddlers. There’s a barbecue, and the location is fantastic: great for walks, stroller-friendly, and just a 15-minute walk to the beach with 2 nice beach restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

Das Haus von Pierre ist traumhaft. Die Raumaufteilung ist hervorragend, das Ambiente ist hell und freundlich. Spätestens beim Blick aus dem großzügigen Wohn- und Essbereich auf Palmen und Pool ist man im Urlaub angekommen. Der Pool hat eine schöne Größe. Ich bin täglich Bahnen geschwommen, die Kinder konnten sich darin austoben. Der Whirlpool ist natürlich ein absolutes Highlight. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet und sowohl drinnen als auch draußen kann das Essen genossen werden. In direkter Nähe ist die hervorragende Bäckerei von Maxime Raiffé. Hier haben wir täglich unsere Croissants, Chocolatine und Baguette für das Frühstück geholt. Ein Supermarkt für den täglichen Bedarf ist auch per Fuß zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto lässt sich die Gegend super erkunden. Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Lage und der Stellplatz am Haus ist sehr bequem. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und hatten zwei wunderbare Wochen in Pierres Haus.
