House vacation rentals in Alaska

Property was exactly as described but the mountain views in the backdrop are indescribable. Lovely home for a very reasonable price-- I can't believe I didn't have to pay more for my stay. Absolutely beautiful home. The occasional planes that used the airstrip were fun to watch. Would definitely book again!

Mark's place is surrounded by beautiful nature, and it is not disturbed by the lights from Fairbanks, so it is ideal for watching the aurora, which was the goal of our visit. We were happy to witness the aurora caused by large solar storm. The house is well insulated, so we were warm even when it was deep frost outside.

Place was beautiful and we had so much fun staying around the area. We made s’mores and laid on the hammock-great experience. Very cute house and very clean!

Allison's place is amazing! Gorgeous setting with canoe, kayak and fishing that kept our kids.. ages 8 & 11... entertained all weekend while the adults relaxed on the dock in the sunshine! The inside of the house was pretty and well maintained!There is only one bathroom. But for the 5 of us, we hot along fine. Allison was very responsive to questions. A great host with a great place to make memories. Thanks, Allison!

The Lazy Loon was hard to leave!! Absolutely incredible views and a beautiful cabin to enjoy it in. My husband and I couldn’t get enough of the mountains and were simply in awe the whole trip! It was the most perfect place and very nice home, well kept and cared for. Ryan was very helpful and communicative! The welcome gift and sign were very kind and made us smile :) Wishing we could stay longer!! Highly recommend staying at the Lazy Loon

Amazing airbnb! Extremely beautiful! Loved the amenities at the house. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The house is thoughtfully made, bathrooms were beautiful! We loved spending time on the deck by the firepit as well!

What a beautiful house that exceeded the description! We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living area to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our 2 Daughters and their husbands and all 5 of our grandchildren! The location was perfect with a beautiful view from the dining room and deck! (.....from an online search: The mountain seen from a house deck on Golden View Drive in Anchorage, AK is likely The Sleeping Lady, also known as Mount Susitna. The body of water is likely the Cook Inlet) The location was very close to many restaurants and several of the attractions we planned to visit as well as having privacy, with wonderful views from the windows and porches. This was a fun place to stay! The views were amazing and the kids especially enjoyed riding the elevator to the top floor (my youngest is 12 and could be trusted with it. If you have younger ones that might be a consideration). This is a great location for making a day trip up to Denali or for visiting any of the other trails or parks around the area. Note the water had a bit of a taste to it. The provided britta filter took care of it mostly but if you’re picky bringing some bottled water may be a good idea. Everything was spotlessly clean and had a vintage Alaska feel. We’d definitely recommend for any friends.

This was a cozy comfortable place to stay. I stayed in all day one day as I was under the weather. It was comfortable and I had a great view so I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything. Loved the extras like bottled water in the fridge and plenty of blankets. The view of the mountains is beautiful

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous home! The pictures definitely do not do it justice. The home is very well appointed, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were organized, easy to communicate with, and accommodating. We will be back for sure!

Absolutely beautiful place. The views over the lake are stunning. We rented Shuree’s place as a bridal and then honeymoon suite for our wedding. My now wife’s bridesmaids all stayed there and were obsessed with it. They all had a wonderful night, enjoying the hot tub and watching the beautiful sun set from the deck. They had plenty of room to all get ready with the hairdressers and photographers. We will absolutely be back when we need extra space for family gatherings and get togethers. Or maybe just for a staycation!! John and Em

This was hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Not only is the house absolutely gorgeous with spectacular views, but Joline really made it feel like home for us. She went above and beyond to make sure the house was fully stacked with anything you would possibly need + more. We came to Alaska for a wedding and this was perfect for our family of 5. Not kidding we didn’t want to leave the Airbnb at all. It’s even more gorgeous in person. Would 10/10 recommend staying here and we hope to come back one day! Thanks Joline!

Once again, we had an amazing time at the Stone Lantern House! The stay is always such a good experience, and we tell others about it all the time.

Beautiful, spacious home with everything you need for a great stay. Close to town but feels like you’re worlds away. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

This cozy home located in the hillside was just what we needed. The view was breathtaking and the interior of the house was something out of a magazine. Location to Homer and the Spit was great. Despite being 15 minute drive from the spit, it is an easy drive and well worth it for the view while at the house. Scott and Hester are the most responsive hosts I've ever dealt with. And I just fell in love with the impressive tile work in the master steam shower. Thank you for allowing us to bring our fur baby with us, she loved it as well. We definitely will be back. Thanks again for making our first time to Homer memorable.

amazing stay! wish we could have stayed longer. it was so beautiful and peaceful! our dog loved running up and down the spiral staircase 😂 she absolutely loved the yard as well and had a ton of fun eating sticks. thank you so much for everything!

Great space, sleeps many! Only one bathroom and dishes for 6. 15 minute walk to the main area of Talkeetna, made for good exercise and quiet streets.

Amazing little spot perfect for a couple, it was clean, comfortable, had laundry and close to the airport, exactly what we needed to end our AK trip and the value was great! Def recommend and would stay here again!

Cozy comfortable cabin. The kitchen and dining table were especially nice for cooking, meals, and family games in the evening. The outdoor conversation area was sunny and clean. Walk to beach and to Millers for dinner. Enjoyed the nautical library as well. Would stay here again

Wonderful stay! First time coming to visit Alaska. Felt like home. My partner and I fell in love with the home. Fully stocked with what we needed. Didn’t leave the home just for some grocery shopping. Would 100% stay here again! I highly recommend, won’t get disappointed.

This was our 4th year in a row staying at Adela’s. It’s definitely one of our favorite places to stay at. We commonly see moose when staying there but this year not only did we see 3 moose but were also visited by 4 caribou! Thanks again, Adela, and hope to be back next year!
