Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Alaska

Amazing stay! I loved how close it was to everything and the view from my room was gorgeous! If you’re going to the spa or resort area and not trying to spend a hefty penny for overnight stays, I’d recommend staying here! However, it is quite a small space so I’d only recommend it for solo travelers or couples! Definitely go to Jack Spratts (recommendation from the locals at the spa)! The Alaska Man burger was deliciousssss

What a magical place. Tamara’s cabin was comfy, organized, and very well cared for. All that McCarthy can offer is a short walk (two blocks) from her property. I really enjoyed the solitude and sense of place that being here provided. Couldn’t recommend more strongly.

We felt right at home! Mary was an extremely gracious host. She took time out of her busy day to spend time with our daughter on her farm. It was like we were visiting with family. Thank you so very much!

We had such a great time during our stay! The place was super clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated having access to the laundry machine and it worked perfectly. Everyone working with the dogs was so friendly and easy to chat with. The dogs themselves were adorable and full of personality, it was fun getting to know them all. We also checked out the visitor center, watched a really inspiring 20-minute video about Martin’s mushing journey, and even got to try mushing ourselves! Chad was an awesome guide. He’s knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. We’re definitely cheering him on in hopes he wins an Iditarod soon!

I had a very nice stay and I’d highly recommend Bronwyn’s place. It was very clean, the view was exceptional and the stay was very nice. She made a delicious breakfast every day, which was a treat. I’m grateful to have been able to stay at such a nice place.

This place was amaaazing!!! Don’t know how to emphasize it enough. Location- great! Near bars and restaurants. Downtown is a few steps away. Great park nearby too!

Great one night stay, but could have easily stayed for much longer! The room was spacious and comfortable for the three of us. Last time we stayed downtown but much preferred this lake view (super easy to drive downtown and park). Breakfast was delicious and a short drive away. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t able to be used while we were there, but I bet the view from it would have been great. The host left lots of information for local activities which was very helpful. Would stay here again for sure!

Mary K and Steve are extraordinary hosts! From the impeccably clean kitchen, to the very comfortable beds, the top quality stay exceeded the quality of any other Air BnB I have stayed at. The wild blueberry and salmonberry waffles that Mary K prepared were the best ever, after a restful nights sleep in the warm bedroom. As hosts, you couldn’t ask for a better couple than Mary K and Steve. They are fully knowledgeable about their local surroundings, and a joy to converse with. The full kitchen allowed us to prepare our three meals we brought up with us to Yakutat. We were able to grill tri-tip and an asparagus dinner with a fine Pinot we bought at the local wine shop. Second evening, we had brats. All were prepared on their outdoor grill. Third night was fresh silver fillets from the river also grilled on their grill. Sat on the back porch enjoying the most peaceful neighborhood. We cannot wait to book again! Thank you for the respite from the stressful city life back home.

Grace and Bill were fantastic hosts. We had a last minute request and they were super responsive and accommodating. Morning breakfast was the best with Bill sharing his adventures and a yummy banana blueberry (among other delicious breakfast items). The view of Denali was a once in a lifetime experience. 11 out of 10.

Grateful that Mike and Marilyn shared this little piece of paradise with us - delicious breakfast, cozy bed, and fully enjoyed the amenities! Highly recommend and will be looking to stay again for a future trip to Sitka!

Gorgeous view! We loved staying here. It was very quiet and serene. The hosts were very kind.

Michael was a great communicator and enthusiastic host. He gave us great tips for Homer including some of the best pizza and bagels we’ve had in awhile. He makes nice strong coffee in the morning! And the room’s view was perhaps the neatest we’ve ever had!

I had an excellent stay with Ed and Renee! Both are terrific and kind hosts who also live in the home. Although it was a short stay, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to chat with them for 20 minutes or so upon arrival. The personal bedroom and shared bathroom were very clean and nicely appointed. There was plenty of shampoo/bodywash/conditioner and towels as needed. Their cozy home was easy to find in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The location was convenient for me, being just over 20 minutes from where I met my guide for a fishing charter the next morning on the Kenai River. They had some light breakfast options and coffee available in the morning. Can't say enough about how nice they were. I would highly recommend their place!

Exactly what we needed for our 2 day stay in Anchorage. I stayed with my wife and son. The location is a walking distance to downtown restaurants and bars. The unit was clean and private. The common areas were clean and welcoming. Light breakfast provided is and excellent bonus. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Ashly was wonderful and very accommodating. Homemade sourdough bread, chocolate chip cookies, and the breakfast were amazing. Seldovia Alaska is a majestic place .

Bob and Donna were amazing hosts. The most welcoming hosts we have ever seen. Bob went out of his way to help us to show Flat Top at midnight. Both helped us to understand things around Alaska for first time visitors. Best recommendations for places and restaurants as per your food choices. Best couple and host ever met. Thank You Both. Eric greeted us as soon as we pulled in and helped get the cars settled in the right spot and then made sure he had a proper head count for the following mornings breakfast. After that, Sue gave us a tour of the property and made sure we had everything we needed and took good care of us. In the morning Eric cooked up an amazing breakfast for the house. Everything was amazing and we appreciated being able to relax after such a long travel day.

Dana was so wonderful she picked us up from the airport and dropped us off and we were prepared to walk. Gave us a tour of the town so we knew where everything was and how to navigate the airstrips. Most of all we had to travel with our doggie and her place is dog friendly and also immaculately clean. Fully stocked with anything you may need. The view from her property made the trip.
