An extensive library with many games for all ages. Rooms & bathrooms are well equipped with a breathtaking views of the Alaskan mountain range. Wonderful, welcoming and helpful host! Everything was clean. They even had breakfast items left for us. So accommodating! And very close to the airport and restaurants in town.

Duronda’s place was very cute and very close to the downtown. It was very cozy and felt right at home.

This was the perfect place for a family of 5. The Coastal trail was right behind the house and easy to run. Easy access to downtown. Beautiful home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was stocked and we cooked everyday. I would definitely recommend this place since it was central to every spot in Anchorage

Jennifer was so helpful and responsive. When we arrived after a long flight and my kids needed to rest, she let us check in early. There’s a school playground a few blocks away my kids enjoyed walking to. When my mom forgot her backpack on the front drive at checkout, Jennifer sped over to the house to secure it until we could get back to pick it up. We really appreciated the hospitality! Pillows and beds were comfy and blackout curtains worked well. Thanks for everything, Jennifer.

Christine was a great host and we had a lot of extras, including breakfast and fruit. Definitely fantastic value for this place and would definitely recommend!

A great place in the heart of Downtown Anchorage. The unit was very nice and had ample space. The pullout sofa was very comfortable. You can walk everywhere in the downtown area. Host was very responsive and communicated effectively. We enjoyed our time in Anchorage before our cruise.

The attention to detail and thoughtfulnes in the accommodations from the cookware to the bathroom accessories was awesome. Fresh flowers in all 3 rooms made for an amazing welcome and it was the best place for me to stay while handling my mom's estate in town. Beautiful view and very close to everything ❤️ Highly recommend.

Kim’s tiny home makes excellent use of space—and inspired some of our own tiny home ideas. Check in was easy, the unit was clean and dry, and Kim was friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing airbnb with amazing hosts. Definitely recommended and will try and stay again if available.

A nice place for a great price esp for 2 people who each want their own room. Not as close to town as I wanted but that is the only draw back.

What a magical place. Tamara’s cabin was comfy, organized, and very well cared for. All that McCarthy can offer is a short walk (two blocks) from her property. I really enjoyed the solitude and sense of place that being here provided. Couldn’t recommend more strongly.

Kate was amazing -- rare in every way. The place is incredible, warm, clean, unique. Her breakfast - exquisite and tailored to each person's needs. But more than anything else - she herself is facinating, full of stories of the place and its histories, woven within her own family's background and their engagment with the place since the 1800. You can't find a better place to stay at!

We are 1.5 weeks into our visit to Alaska. Traveling every town! But nothing beats our stay on the lake with June. It was Absolutely beautiful and everything/ more than what we imagined for our wedding night! I can not stress enough how much this stay meant to us! The views, bed comfort, fire place and bathroom just blew us away!!! Don’t pass up!!!!! You will regret it!

Russ and Glenda were the warmest host ever. Felt like we went back to our grandparent’s home. Super welcoming. Though we only stayed 1 night, they made sure we felt right at home. Sharing conversations and experiences; allowing us to use the shared kitchen. The attic on the 2nd floor has no door; so the room is just up the stairs. Having said that, they gave us our privacy and space. Glenda also provided breakfast and fruit salad for us. We were grateful and thankful for staying in such a beautiful home.

We definitely hit the jackpot on our first trip to Alaska by staying at Barry’s place! The views of the mountains were incredible - definitely breathtaking! This was a perfect distance from the city life in Anchorage. I cannot express how beautiful the views of the mountains were from this airbnb.

Can't say enough about the Red Cabin B&B! We stayed in the smaller annex which was everything we needed. The location is just perfect, remote yet close to Kenai and Soldatna and all the area offers, a great home base while in the area. John and Jacquie are wonderful hosts, eager to share their love and extensive knowledge of the area. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with fresh fruit, coffee, and plenty of breakfast food. The welcoming committee, Lola, Sandy and three horses was a happy surprise! A great place to stay in this area, hope to return some day.

Very comfortable and quiet location. We were able to bring our dog which meant a lot to us. Very responsive and polite hosts.

Came up to celebrate 2025 Iditarod-exactly 100 years since our original 1925 Serum Run; and had the wonderful opportunity to stay with Elijah. The neighborhood was perfectly safe and quiet, and Elijah was greatly informative and accommodating. Beautiful Room and Bathroom, Great Hot Tub, Spacious House with plenty to do and see! Had a close encounter with a neighborhood Mama Moose and Calf, but all ended well, and even more lovely birds to watch! Staying here was definitely a highlight of my trip, and I'm proud to recommend this host for your next trip to Anchorage. You're in for a great stay and a great time.
