My friend and I loved the place! The decor was perfect-lots of small touches and useful hanging hooks, etc. Location was very convenient. Above all, everything was super clean! The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day. :)

Such a cute, clean and cozy cabin. Great escape, very quiet, nice hot tub and porch. The lights are charming and the loft space is great for kids. We’ll be happy to return in the future!

Excellent romantic retreat! Very relaxing place with hot tub. Nice Alaskan rustic fixtures and decor. The views are amazing, and it's nice to be a few minutes away from town while still close enough to stores and restaurants.

Perfect for a weekend getaway. Cabin was very clean. I loved everything about it. The pictures don’t do justice of how beautiful this place is! 100% recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin and had everything we needed to be able to relax and feel right at home. It’s only a short drive to Denali so it’s the perfect location.

This location was absolutely EPIC! What a great experience this location provides between the views and the hot tub and the beautifully set up tiny home! We adventured out to see the sights, but we were most excited to spend our evenings relaxing in the hot tub together. We experienced big fluffy snow flakes AND an aurora show while up on the mountain. The city lights at night twinkling in the distance and the stunning sunrise add the perfect touch to such a magical place. We have already recommended this location to all of our family and friends and will continue to do so. We had an amazing time celebrating our 20th anniversary and cannot thank Adam enough for creating such an oasis!

We loved this cabin. Everything was perfect about our stay. Joe was an amazing host and we felt right at home staying here. Highly recommend staying at one of Joe's properties. We loved that is was outside the City (Anchorage) but also very close to local stores and restaurants. It was an amazing stay and a beautiful area. We hope to make a return visit in the future!

Amazing stay, out of the world Hospitality and completely felt like a home away from home. One of my favorite stays ever. It was a very spacious cottage with very cozy vibes. Colleen wasn't around but had her friend Stacey to help us with all we need. They're both incredibly helpful (yes even Colleen although she wasn't around). It was a remarkable stay and I thought twice if I wanted to leave a good review and be selfish by gate keeping this gem but honestly.. They deserve every single star available. If there's a reason I ever come back, this place would be one huge one! Oh.. Not to mention, I caught a spectacular Aurora right outside the door on the very night I arrived. This place is a lucky spot!! ❤️❤️

Jamie ‘s cabin is absolutely wonderful! The location and views are spectacular. It’s serene and peaceful here and you feel right at home when you arrive. Jamie is a very thoughtful and kind host and makes sure you have everything you need! She is highly responsive to any communication and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay! The house is decorated beautifully and was extremely clean upon arrival. The beds are very comfortable with 100% cotton sheets and warm blankets. Kitchen is wonderfully stocked, and there is ample storage for all your gear. I had an incredible stay and I highly recommend Rustic Mountain Lake Cabins; Jamie is a fantastic host!

If you want to be reminded what peaceful feels like, if you want to reminded how beautiful nature can be, and if your spirit needs to be renewed and refreshed then THIS is the spot to go. A truly unique and special retreat! We loved the swans and ducks, the cozy wood stove and stunning lake views. Every detail was perfect, and we definitely will return.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and cozy. It was well-stocked with things you could use while there - from kitchenware, board games, and even head lamps! :) It's in a quiet location, though still accessible. Diane provided clear instructions for check in and check out, and was very easy to communicate with. I'll be keeping this cabin in mind for when I go back to Talkeetna.

This cabin is really cute, well appointed and pretty comfy and clean. It’s in a quiet, safe feeling neighborhood. We enjoyed our 3 night stay!

What a spectacular location on Beluga Lake! Even though we didn't plan a float plane activity, we enjoyed watching the planes take off and land on the lake while we were there. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. The weather was a bit rainy, but the cabin was cozy and warm. The cabin location is excellent if you're planning a trip for bear viewing or to Clark Lake. Stepping right out the front door onto the float dock was nice. The trees around the cabin had berries and we saw several varieties of songbirds. We'll definitely recommend this location to other traveling frients!

Deanna’s lakefront wood cabin was such a magical experience to celebrate my girlfriend’s 40th birthday! She absolutely went above and beyond to make her birthday special, and even saved me in a clutch with candles. She also had 2 friendly horses out front and carrots to feed them. The welcoming firepit already blazing after dinner with smores was amazing, such a caring touch. She had baked a welcoming dessert bread for us to have warm upon arrival too! Even when we were leaving she helped us take cute couple’s photos in front of the lake as it was snowing. The inside was so thoughtfully warm and welcoming. Even a “fireplace” burning on the tv! The wood shelving and loft balcony provided for such a wonderful romantic photo shoot. The large electric blind windows were magnificent! Couldn’t possibly say enough good things! Pleasant, wonderful, so friendly! We would love to stay here again when we plan on making our summer trip!!

Very cozy...wonderful accommodations! Had beautiful sunsets. One our favorite places in Talkeetna. Crust skiing on the lakes and miles of trails to bike, hike and ski! Thank you to our great hosts!

We love staying here. Great location, near town and the trails. We're usually here in the winter so love coming back from hiking to a warm cabin and hot shower!

Very friendly host! Went out of his way to accommodate us during our stay! Very comfortable bed and cozy atmosphere! Felt right at home! Short drive to amazing hiking spots close by!

Second stay in this delightful cabin. It was a perfect location with plenty of things to do. I was specifically in Talkeetna for the aurora and I was not disappointed!

Cabin is super cute, check in was easy, loved that they have a blanket specifically for dogs. Cabin has a nice view of the stars, a super fast hot water heater and a coffee pot. ☕ Everything I needed for a spontaneous overnight trip.

Aside from the slanderous sticker in the gift shop (haha), I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had cabin 1 and it was very cozy.

Had a great time! Cute and cozy place and we got to include our 3 dogs, which we usually have to leave at home when we travel. The place was spotless. Easy directions from Travis & Christina. The back yard is my favorite with the cozy little fire pit. Perfect setting and look forward to renting in the future.

A once-in-a-lifetime Alaskan adventure! Staying at the musher cabin was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by our incredibly kind and inspiring host, Tonje. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and full of rustic charm — the perfect authentic Alaskan experience. But the best part were the dogs! So many friendly, happy pups who were clearly loved and well cared for. Spending time with them, learning about their expeditions, and reading about their funny stories in their books while relaxing on the porch, enjoying the view of the mountains… definitely the highlight of our trip in Alaska. We even got to go for a walk with the retierees and the puppies :) If you're looking for a unique stay surrounded by nature, dogs, and genuine Alaskan experience, this is the place. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to come back someday. 100% recommend!
