Waterfront vacation rentals in Alajuela Province

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

Precioso lugar , acogedor y totalmente perfecto para pasear en familia con tranquilidad, lo que sí considero a tomar en cuenta es la hora de entrada y salida como muchos lugares son días que se pagan totalmente perdidos la entrada muy tarde y salida muy temprano, de ahí lo demás es perfecto

Muy bonito estuve 6 días en este lugar y me sentí muy bien hay, panadería, supermercado y otros locales comerciales cerca es una zona tranquila pero siempre hay que tener cuidado pero en general muy bien fabi es muy buena es muy amigable espero volver pronto 😃

Logement bien indiqué, bien équipé, il y a tous ce qu’il faut et vous n’êtes pas embêté par un vis à vis avec le voisinage ! La vue sur la végétation de la colline d’en face est agréable ! De plus, le fait que le logement soit à l’étage présente l’avantage de ne pas avoir trop de d’insectes dans la maison !

En cuanto a calidad-precio me parece bastante bien. Un apartamento pequeño pero cómodo para pasar la noche en una zona tranquila y cerca de la parte turística del puerto.

Kristian was a great host, he met us at the property and helped us to use the washing machine and suggested activities. It’s worth noting that there is some traffic noise, in the double bedroom because it’s close to the road but we slept fine using ear plugs. It’s a handy stopover for taking the ferry.

Les agradezco mucho el dejarnos quedar en su hogar, la casa muy limpia y con todas las comodidades . El condominio muy seguro y tranquilo y puedes ir caminando al lago y alquilar todo tipos de atracciones para hacer en el lago desde tours en lancha, kayaks y más .

Casa Cielo is a special place. I was looking for something more unique than the rinse and repeat new Airbnb builds closer to La Fortuna. The huge windows overlooking the private lake was serene. Curt is an incredible host who truly embraces the concept of "hosting". The food was spectacular - way above and beyond. Extremely generous high-effort home cooking from Vielca (sp?). We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner each day we were there and had no desire to go to restaurants. They even did laundry for us! I'd definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a unique place to stay.

Un lugar lleno de oportunidades para explorar. El alojamiento se encuentra muy bien equipado y es sumamente cómodo. Vigdis ha sido sumamente atenta. Ojalá tengan la oportunidad de conocer a Don Alberto en la isla, un caballero, también comer frente a la playa en el restaurante de Evelyn y Keila. El ceviche es delicioso.

This place is very basic and we just stayed here We had a great stay for a night! The place was super clean and everything worked just as described. We do prefer a bit more comfort in our linens and bedding, but the ones provided were okay. There’s only one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. It would’ve been better if there were two single beds, since the bedroom is large. You could separate or join them based on what your guests prefer. Oh, and there are some stray and neighbor owned dogs that live nearby and sometimes hang out around the property if you’re outside in the back or front. They’re friendly and harmless, but they might not be the best for people who are scared of dogs.

Todo impecable limpio ordenado, todo muy bonito

La propiedad es tal cual se ve en las fotos. Es una propiedad muy bonita, amplia y cómoda. La playa está a pocos pasos y es muy tranquila.

Fantastic accommodation with a fantastic view of Arenal volcano directly opposite. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to the birds on the balcony whilst sipping a morning coffee. It was such a luxury to have the river right on our doorstep and all to ourselves! A hidden gem just a 2 minute drive away from the hustle and bussle, we would highly recommend and stay again!

A very unique location overlooking the ocean and countryside. We had a very private feel, and nearby beaches were not busy at all. Close to the macaw sanctuary and we say a few wild macaw fly over us. The pool was 10/10.

The sunsets alone were worth every penny!! We raced back to the house every night just to watch the colors change. The house itself is quaint, clean, organized and quite perfect! It’s small but they have what is needed to hang your clothes as there is not a lot of room to leave open luggage. Our family ran and played on the quiet beach. I think we saw 5 people total.. great hard packed sand for morning and evening walks. There was a spot that was very dirty (glass, plastic, etc) from high tide that you would want to wear shoes to walk through. Giovanni was thorough in communications and quick to respond! His directions were very much appreciated. We knew there weren’t a ton of amenities nearby. But it’s no joke, when you leave the house pack what you need as it’s not near activities and has very limited eating. Not an issue for most - just a heads up!

Awesome place with beautiful views. Restaurant downstairs has excellent food and drinks.
