Andrea was an exceptional host, very helpful and responsive. The place was more beautiful than the photos and the attention to detail inside was very nice. I highly recommend a stay here for a very peaceful, restful, and for the amazing views and experience.

My friend and I really appreciated Ana Maria's hospitality and her family's gorgeous home. We loved the special personal touches including the jungle of house plants and well-stocked library with board games and books. Having the fireplace stocked with wood made it possible to have the perfect ambiance for reading in front of the fire on a misty afternoon! We found it helpful to have earplugs at night, as the home is close to a transit road, and earplugs did the trick to help us sleep soundly.

Honestly the best AIRBNB I've ever stayed at. It was incredible. The morning view over the pool to the comfortable amenities in the house... everything was perfect. The pictures don't do this home justice. Although it's a little secluded from the big city, I personally enjoyed the privacy of it. It's about 45 mins from this place to La Fortuna. Carlos was very responsive and helpful through the whole process. I'll definitely have this spot pinned for the future.

We absolutely loved this place. It is well maintained and has everything you need. It feels like home. The woodwork in the house is so beautiful. The property is gorgeous and has trails to explore. Carolina and Manuel arranged to get some specially requested food for our stay. They had the food there for our arrival which was so helpful. Manuel took us on an awesome night hike. Carolina’s husband also gave us a tour of the property too. Carolina and her family really go out of their way to make this a welcoming place. They grow amazing coffee on the property which we really enjoyed. They also shared their garden veggies and the bananas. We stayed 4 days and wished we had stayed longer. We found it easy to go into Monteverde for activities like coffee tours, cloud forest, animal sanctuary el Tigre waterfall, etc. There are some great restaurants close by the house and of course in monteverde too. We enjoyed ordering homemade empanadas from cafe Horizonte for breakfast.

Truly splendid stay! Inflatable jacuzzi was amazing! And you can’t beat fresh clean water, chlorine free! We absolutely loved the place. We would definitely come again. Amazing price, definitely worth what we paid. It works great for a family with up to 4 children. Our king size bed was comfortable completely a dream. Nice kitchen well stocked. Huge glass front gives the house a sunny open feel. Even had a washer and dryer to get laundry done. Even provided laundry soap and extra toilet paper when needed. There’s even a simple grill and charcoal we used to grill supper.

This was an amazing AirBnB there is far more to do and enjoy on the farm than you expect. The farm is enormous and there is a short hike down a little hill through the jungle that leads down to a big open area for cattle where you can cross a stream and enjoy the beautiful nature. Also there is this great, cheap restaurant called Victorino's which is relatively close.

We stayed for two weeks and felt sad to leave. Yuliana and her parents were great hosts, always responsive and helpful, recommending places to eat and visit and the occasional gift. Throw into that their dogs who asked for little more than a belly rub for their friendship. The cottage itself was as described. Large screened windows kept the place aired and let the sounds of nature flood in. The lack of aircon meant it was often hot especially upstairs and in the afternoon but what you get in return is a deeper connection to your surroundings. This included visits from capuchin and howler monkeys, birds, bats, toads and countless butterflies, and a diverse range of insects. The screens are pretty good at keeping the latter outside, and you can close the windows. Wi-Fi is decent and other amenities as described. With the heat we didn’t cook much but the option was there. We’d 100% return for the hospitality, the closeness to nature and the dogs.

Quiet place, clean, the horse riding it's perfect, I recommend the place

Neal and Diane were very helpful. we had some issues with the car, contacting folks back home. They gave us some good tips. I had an issue with my knee and they gave me the number to a physical therapist in the area. Claudia was great, I was experiencing no pain by the time I left. The pool was a good place to watch storms move in and out from. The birds and other ani.als made it wonderful to look at. There property is just so beautiful. Tronodora is small but has all the things in a short walk for a long stay or a short stay. We had a car but on most days we simply walked into town. We fid hang out with there two dogs, Franny and Albert. They were cute, loving, creatures.

Chechey is a great host, he is very responsive and kind. The place was very well located in the center of Bijagua, and it is in a quiet street. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. I definitely recommend the place!

very peaceful place with a great pool

I loved your house! I celebrated my son's birthday, an afternoon at the pool and they had a blast playing soccer! The views are spectacular! In addition to being very well furnished! The rooms have air conditioning, which is very important in such a hot climate! The host Eduardo is a wonderful and very proactive person; In short, 10/10! We'll be back!

The place is beautiful, with lots of green areas and a beautiful garden. The house is beautiful and very spacious, ideal for six people. It is super well located, just a few minutes from downtown Nicoya. Katia and Carlos were excellent hosts: always attentive, very friendly and answered all our questions patiently. The place has many fruit trees, which attracts a great variety of birds. If you like observation, it's perfect: we saw trogons, aracaris, titiras, motomotos and more. The pool is beautiful, as is the ranch, ideal for relaxing surrounded by nature. We will definitely be back!

I would definitely return to this place. It's simply beautiful and ideal for relaxing. Beautiful views and the place is very tastefully and cozily decorated. I recommend arriving during the day, as it is an area with few buildings and you have to follow some signs on the way; but the host shares super detailed directions to get there without getting lost. I was very afraid to go to the area, as I was traveling at night; however, the host was always available to provide me with accompaniment and alternatives. A highly recommended and enjoyed place.

Aurora's accommodation was better than I expected, a place that was delivered very clean. We appreciate the detail of having coffee and tea to prepare in the morning. Definitely a great place for the price.

Nice and private house, very close to the Heliconias rainforest bridges, the restaurants in Bijagua, and about 25 min to NP Tenorio. We enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful setting in a safe, gated community. Host was a great communicator. You might consider something closer to San Jose if that is where you’re planning to visit. Bottle-necked traffic made for long drives in and out of the city.

Roberto was an amazing host, he’s a local with a lot of knowledge of the area and the wildlife surrounding his beautiful property! First night we stayed he came to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed, I can definitely say the wonderful people I’ve met in Costa Rica made my time here unforgettable! Pura Vida!

We loved our stay at this Airbnb. The space is spacious, quiet and safe, ideal to rest and enjoy nature. Everything was very nice and tidy which made our experience even more enjoyable. A minor detail was that the TV didn't work, but with so much for enjoying the outdoors, it really wasn't necessary. Also, the kindness of Doña Gloria made us feel welcome at all times. Definitely a place to come back to!
