We have great time, the place is beautiful with a lot of peace of mind. The pool was just to us. 100% recommended!

AMAZING! One of our favorite places we have ever had the pleasure to stay at in Costa Rica and I have been coming to this beautiful country for a decade. The springs are fantastic and well maintained. the property is beautiful and has a great hiking trail loop. I got to see blue Jean strawberry dart frogs too! The treehouse is gorgeous, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen was great and the bed was comfortable. We loved it so much that we spent most of the day on the grounds after we checked out. the cherry on top was being greeted and having a chat with the wonderful owners. Kathy and Bernie and incredible people and I absolutely recommend this gem of a place!

Words do not exist to even begin to explain how truly incredible Andrea’s cabins are. Such a beautiful, private and relaxing oasis. Just far enough from civilization to be able to fully enjoy the peace and quiet that is in Valle Azul but also so conveniently close to many fun attractions nearby. Such as the Arenal Volcano & hot springs. Also close to Ciudad Quesada city. We could see tucans, iguanas & so many more beautiful animals from our very own balcony. We were also able to pick our very own fruits from the trees on the property! So delicious. To top it off Andrea was such an amazing host, always attentive to our needs whatever they may be. She responded to all of our messages and/or in person questions immediately. She gave us such great advice on where to go and what to do. Always kept up with all of our needs in the cabin. She truly went above and beyond for us & we will definitely be coming back!

This was a magical place to stay! Since it was located in the middle of the forest, we were able to see Toucans and many birds from the balcony. The place was spacious and clean. This is more of a primitive airbnb, meaning there is no A/C and you may see a few bugs, but I feel like that’s expected in the cloud forest. We had an amazing time and would recommend this for anyone visiting the area.

We visited the treehouse, which was exactly as described, with a toddler who couldn’t get enough of it. If you like being surrounded by nature and experiencing peace and tranquility all within 7-8 minutes of everything else in La fortuna, this is the place for you. It was such a lovely experience living in a treehouse, with a bathtub looking at the rainforest where we could watch birds in the morning. My husband and I loved how centrally located it was and close to the main town. The bathroom was extremely clean, so was the outdoor bathtub. The room is spacious enough for a couple. It doesn’t have true kitchen amenities except for a fridge but we weren’t expecting to cook here. Jimmy and his family were very responsive and gave some lovely local suggestions. If you are squirmish around bugs then this is not the place (or country) for you but it was perfect for us, even for me who is deathly scared of lizards. Costa Ricans have a simple philosophy of live and let live :)

Staying at the tree house was definitely the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. If I could give it 10 stars I would. It was such a unique place to stay at, to take in the beauty of Monteverde. The home was comfortable, peaceful and exactly as pictured. We loved walking the trails on the reserve and into town. My only regret was that we weren’t able to stay longer.

What an incredible stay! We truly felt part of the family. We were welcomed by Joselyn who was so nice. Jorge gave us a tour the next day and helped my son hold his chickens. Such amazing people! Great for practicing Spanish :) The view from the cabin was incredible and the place is spotless. They put in mosquito netting which was helpful. Great location, close to town with great view of the volcano.

Perfect stay to experience wildlife! Edwin was extremely helpful and even helped to book some excursions for us. If we ever find ourselves in Monteverde again we will definitely be staying here!

This place is a hidden peace of heaven! You feel like you are in a fairy tail staying at this location. The people in the closest town are very nice. It is easy to find somewhere to eat. This is a must stay!

I visited a lovely retreat in Costa Rica’s mountains, surrounded by untouched nature. The views—rolling hills and stunning views —are breathtaking. Wildlife is amazing. Fresh air and peace made it special. Cozy and welcoming, it’s a perfect nature escape—I highly recommend it!

We loved the tiny house! Perfect for our last night in Costa Rica and wish we could have stayed longer. Great view, peaceful setting, very comfortable bedding, nice bathroom and shower, thoughtful amenities. Marco the groundskeeper was super friendly, helpful and kind. Even though our Spanish was only moderate we had no problems. He gave us a ride to town and back for dinner and took us to the airport the next day. Ciudad Colon was nice, I'd skip San Jose and stay there any day. Good places to eat once you get into town (not walkable from the Airbnb though).

We loved being immersed in the forest and listening to the birds and other wildlife. Edwin was extremely helpful in booking several activities and our return shuttle to San Jose. Most of the rest of our trip we had pre-scheduled, but we left room for some spontaneity in Monteverde, and Edwin was great at finding us opportunities. The space is small, but has everything we needed. It is a short walk into town with a wide variety of restaurants and a grocery store so we were able to make some of our own meals and find ample places to eat. We highly recommend this Airbnb.
