Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Alajuela Province

Very nice house. Clean and family friendly. Kitchen is nice. There are a lot of bugs in the rain forest so keep the windows closed! Coming from Florida USA so bugs are normal, but if you are not use to the tropics then bring bug spray for mosquitos. If you are from CR, like my partner, then you already know to keep doors and windows shut especially at night. AC was nice to have after a long day of being outside. Very close to hot springs. The markets and restaurants are great. Overall this place is really nice for a chill small group of people. This stay made our small family reunion feel comfortable and complete. It was 6 and 1/2 of us (1 baby) but this place is actually bigger than we thought. Very spacious and more than enough bed space. House keeping rules are simple. AC off when you leave the house to save for the environment! I hope who ever reads this has a great time like we did! Thank you John and Tati for your great hospitality.

Beautiful place, with a pool and a private jacuzzi. Surrounded by nature. Tracy the host and Doña Maria the cleaning lady were exceptional and friendly. Very well-equipped house. We would definitely come back

If you find yourself in Puntarenas and have a taste for history and true hospitality, Casa Fait is the place to go. The house itself is beautifully and carefully restored to it’s early 20th century splendour, which is completely surreal given today’s reality of the fisherman town. The hosts are beyond welcoming and shared a lot of stories, recommendations, anecdotes and wisdom. It has been a great experience on our journey through Costa Rica.

We loved our stay in La fortuna! Excellent location. We loved that it was peaceful, the house was so beautiful. Daniel & Andres were responsive and they helped us book some of our excursions. It was my mom’s birthday and they helped me arrange a private chef with mariachis to surprise my mother. We had an excellent time and we already can’t wait to go back to visit again. I can’t thank you enough for everything! 💜

Beautiful property! Our family had a wonderful stay. Marlen was a very nice host and responsive to all our needs. We would highly recommend staying here. You get the secluded mountain feel while being close to the airport.

Great place! Just like the photos. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities. The shower water was cold but I have gotten used to that in travelling that not every place has the warmest shower water but definitely not a big deal! Everything else worked great, love the private big gate to make the property feel tucked away and private. You can hear running water in the creek or river that's down below which is lovely to listen to. We didn't get a chance to walk down. I love C.R. and plan to be back and would 100% stay here again.

Jose, his family and friends were more than welcoming to us from the moment we came to the Airbnb! Quick responses and always there to lend us a hand or guide us to anything we may need! Amazing food at a local restaurant, horseback riding on his land with lots of things to see and learn about! His pool at the Airbnb was absolutely amazing! We loved getting to meet his family members and socializing with them! I would highly recommend this Airbnb to everyone in near the La Fortuna area!!! Ps wait until you see his 2nd one they are building right now!! Thank you soo very much! We loved everyone moment at your home!

The place is too beautiful and it's easy to find and on the main street, it's super close and everything is very private, quiet and I look forward to returning!

Genaro is a great host. Friendly, helpful and communicates well. All the information needed to have a seem-less experience was provided to us prior to arriving, which gave us a piece of mind. The room is very spacious and beautiful; the pictures do not do it justice. The area is walkable with great places to eat. The area is also quiet and serene which made enjoying the outdoor space relaxing including the volcano view from the rooftop terrace. Breathtaking! There is some construction in the area that can be heard during the day but it didn’t bother us much as we spent that time doing excursions. Would definitely recommend anyway and plan on returning!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The customer service was exceptional—our host was friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the start. The private villa was stunning: spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. It felt like our own peaceful oasis, with an incredible backyard area with a private pool and jacuzzi as well as a private area to park within it own sliding gate. The location was unbeatable—just minutes from downtown, with endless things to do nearby. We enjoyed exploring local restaurants, shops, and attractions, all within easy reach. Despite being so close to the action, the villa offered quiet, comfort, and privacy at the end of each day. It was the perfect balance of convenience and serenity. This stay exceeded our expectations. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, high-quality experience. We loved Casa Paraiso! The house is exactly as it looks in pictures with plenty of space and all that you need to be comfortable. The yard was beautiful and well maintained. We loved swimming, watching the birds, and looking for sloths. The ones on property never came down while we were there but we saw lots of them at Mundo de Perezosos right down the street! Javier, the gardener, was very friendly and showed us the different fruits and toucans in the yard. He also cut down coconuts for us and answered my husband and kiddos’ many questions! We felt safe and enjoyed the location. It was close enough to everything but also not right in the middle of town! A few other recommendations nearby are Don Olivo chocolate tour, the Pure Trek Canyoning (amazing!), and check out some of Juan’s food recs. Pura Vida!

Great place as a base for daytime activities in La Fortuna/Arenal. The place is in a neighborhood a 10 minute drive from downtown La Fortuna, and is clean and modern. Communication with the hosts was easy and they were able to book activities for us.

I have no words to describe the incredible place that German has. It's beautiful, super well located, lots of privacy, elegant, clean, the place is amazing.

The entire stay at Daniel’s house was incredible! Alexander was a wonderful host and very responsive. The home was beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the huge yard to explore. We even saw a couple toucans right on the property! Right down the road there were many restaurants and markets that we went to daily. All the locals were very friendly. This was a great spot for a family vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at Ari's Airbnb! She welcomed us warmly, even with a bottle of local wine, despite our late arrival. The house was absolutely beautiful—clean, cozy, and surrounded by nature. We especially loved soaking in the hot tub after long days of exploring. It also had a well equipped kitchen and great art throughout. Ari was super responsive and kind. When we had trouble figuring out the hot water late at night, she was ready to help and even offered to send her partner over to help. We ended up solving it ourselves, but her offer meant a lot. We also had an accidental mix up with a personal item, and she graciously helped us coordinate its return with her family. Her communication was thoughtful and smooth throughout our stay. The whole experience felt easy, relaxing, and cared for. We couldn’t recommend her or her place more—it’s a perfect getaway spot with a truly great host.

My husband and I stayed here for almost a week, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The property is nestled in a secluded, private area that feels like your own little hideaway in nature. It’s perfect for a romantic escape. It gave off such a peaceful, treehouse-like vibe, and everything was beautifully clean and well maintained. One of our favorite features was the balcony with the jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing in the evenings while taking in the views. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and offered great local recommendations, including a few nearby restaurants we really enjoyed. While it’s about a 30-minute drive from downtown La Fortuna, we honestly didn’t mind it at all. The tranquility and beauty of the property more than made up for the distance, and we’d absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

David was amazing. And his space was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. It really is a little oasis. The outside terrace was maybe my favorite part. And the garden/small trail is beautiful. It's literally a 3 minute walk from El Salto, which is a blast. And it's a quick 15 minute walk to the center of La Fortuna, making shopping and eating out really convenient without having to worry about transportation. David also helped us setup our transportation from the airport and to our 2nd Air BnB. Next time I'm in Fortuna, I already know where I'm staying. Thanks again for having us. Pura Vida.

This place is a paradise! It was the perfect home base to explore the La Fortuna area. The beautiful gardens are full of wildlife to enjoy, and the hot tub was a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Jonathan was quick to respond and the place was spotless when we arrived. We can't wait to return!

We had an incredibly comfortable and memorable stay. The cabin itself is well-equipped with all the modern amenities. The air conditioning worked great, and everything felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The grounds are absolutely stunning. Beautifully landscaped, very secure, and gated, which gave us extra peace of mind. Our kids had a blast, and we all woke up each morning to breathtaking views and the sounds of nature: toucans calling, howler monkeys in the distance, and sunrises that made each day feel magical. This place isn’t just a place to sleep. It’s a total immersion in nature, with all the comforts of home. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway.
