We had an amazing stay at Josée's villa. A beautiful home in the heart of Costa Rica. This is a peaceful and safe place. Communication with Josée is excellent. In addition, she gave us very good recommendations for activities that we enjoyed very much. I would highly recommend it. :)

Our stay was incredible! This is definitely the house to stay at if you are visiting Monteverde. This little house fit our family of 4 perfectly, although we spent most of our time sitting on the balcony enjoying the views. The house is located perfectly to give you some peace while still being only a 15 minute drive from the city. Albita was very responsive to all my questions and was able to give us recommendations on what to do in Monteverde. Make sure to use the address Albita sends you so you can find the house! If you stay here, you absolutely must go to Lluvias de Gloria cafe! This was recommended to us by Albita and it is a family-owned farm only 10 min from the house. They gave us a tour of the entire farm with coffee and fruit tastings. We also went back to eat there several times at their cafe. This was the best thing we did on our entire Costa Rica trip!!

Beautiful place, decorated with detail and with a very original shower. The property is beautiful, full of fruit trees and native timber. It is a very quiet space ideal for relaxing and enjoying nature. The host is very kind and always willing to answer any questions.

A beautiful place if you want to rest and spend a few quiet days. The house is comfortable and large. Book if you want to get away from the heat and into a very quiet mountain setting.

The location was perfect for our Monteverde adventure. Easily accessed everything we wanted to do from zip-line to a night hike to a 6-mile self-guided hike in Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. We also drove to Viento Fresco Waterfalls about 50 minutes away and the swim in waterfall #3 was a family favorite for the trip. Lots to do, very peaceful surroundings at the house and easy to get to good food in Santa Elena! Simple and perfectly comfortable accommodations and the host was wonderful and helpful.

All I can say is wow! The photos, as amazing as they are, do not do justice to the views. The place was quiet and peaceful. We loved waking up to the sound of birds chirping and a cool breeze. Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a good 15 minutes from the downtown MonteVerde area and a 4WD SUV is essential.

It's exactly as shown in the photos. Very cozy and a spectacular view. The only thing I might add would be a TV to connect the Netflix or the like. Since at night, there is not much around to have fun. The spotless and very cute place. I would come back 10 times more and I'm sure will. The main bed is a delight.

Excellent lodging

It's a wonderful place to stay more time than the one we chose. It's a quiet place, with a great scenery and lots of wildlife. I will recommended for a week vacation away from everything.

An incredible place to escape for a while and recharge your batteries, fresh air and a beautiful view, it is more impressive in person and Daniel is the person who welcomed us, very kind and was always available for any questions, excellent service, we had a great time, recommended. We definitely have to go back!

We had an excellent stay here while in Monteverde. The views were unbeatable, and everything in the unit itself well maintained! Yami was an excellent host, very responsive and always ready to give recommendations. It was a very tranquil getaway, would certainly come back!

Sergio has a fantastic place that is perfect for our extended family. The house is quirky and a challenge to navigate—there are a lot of steps everywhere. However, every room is a gem, and everything works. Sergio was an ideal host - such a difference from company-places with remote staff that don't care a damn. We all had an amazing time. We hope to be back soon!

We stayed here 3 nights over the weekend. Really beautiful house with a big garden where you are close to the nature. Ideal for a calm and relaxing stay. You also got to check out the lovely details around and inside the house. It was absolutely amazing!

A Truly Exceptional Stay at Villa Serafina! From the moment we arrived at Villa Serafina, we were in awe of the stunning surroundings and the incredible hospitality. The villa itself is a true gem — beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully curated to provide maximum comfort and style. The spacious rooms, the peaceful atmosphere, and the breathtaking views made our stay unforgettable.

This place was stunning, peaceful and secluded. Now, keep that in mind when booking your stay, the place is remote and the nearest store is a short drive away, so plan accordingly. We coordinated a chef and massage services to come to the property, and the hosts were accommodating of this arrangement. There are a few lizards and geckos that come and visit the property. Overall a fantastic experience with this property and we would recommend to anyone visiting Costa Rica

The house was very clean and spacious. The directions given by the host made it easy to find. There is a gravel road the last 1/4 mile or so up to the house, but there are gravel roads all over the area, so this was not a big deal. The house is close to many excursions/activities in the area. The yard is very big with a pool and basketball court. The property was very private. We had 7 people, all adults and the house was great for all of us.
