Loft vacation rentals in Alajuela Province

Our stay in La Fortuna exceeded our expectations. Roy and his family are excellent hosts and will provide more information than you will possibly need. The location is safe and easy to access.

The place has an amazing view. Located at a walkable distance to the town with great restaurants and cafe options. Touristy spots (Falls, hikes, activities) are at a closer distance as well. The space is a little smaller.

Clean and beautiful! There was a huge back porch overlooking a field and a view of the Arenal volcano. Nice neighborhood.

Very clean and comfortable stay! Love that they allowed me to book so last minute. Would stay again!

Roy’s place was so beautiful and welcoming. I loved the open concept of the apartment and the balcony with the jacuzzi which was so easy to use with the instructions provided. He provided a lengthy and in depth online website and book at the BnB with all the information we needed. Plus inclusion of a lot of things to do, and places he’s eaten at. When we had an issue with turning the fridge on he was so quick to help us with it and get it fixed. Which it was by the time we came back from our tour. I would definitely come back again!

Emily and Hector were amazing hosts, super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The location is very peaceful with lots of birds around. We never heard Emily and Hector even though they live upstairs from the apartment for rent. Thanks again for everything!

There are super hosts and then there is Gigi and Adrian! These two are a step or two above the rest!!! Extremely accommodating and super helpful all the way around. Location was great with an Auto Mercado (grocery) less than 10 minutes away by foot. I would highly recommend and will likely stay there again when I return to Costa Rica :-). Pura vida Gigi and Adrian!!

This place is definitely beautiful- the view of the mountains is incredible and the surrounding nature is stunning. We stayed for a month in March/ April and I wish we had AC- it’s really really hot during the day and the fan is not enough. Kitchen is not great for long term stay but manageable. Outdoor furniture could be upgraded so that it’s actually useable. Lastly the Airbnbs next door are often used for parties on the weekend.. Overall beautiful place but could use a bit of an upgrade.

We really liked this Airbnb. It was nicely decorated and furnished. It felt newish and fresh and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The air conditioning was great and quiet. We did not have a car, so the location was good for walking everywhere easily. Alex was a super helpful host. Alex made excellent recommendations for restaurants. We asked many questions, and he helped us at every step. He even sent maps when we wanted to find the Friday Organic Farmer's Market, which is called Feria Agricultura. This is a nice place if you want fruit and vegetables and local flavor, it is in a green wood building about 15-20 min walk. There is a lot to see in this area, we highly recommend. The Arenal Volcano is worth seeing and this Airbnb will be great for that.

The apartment was as described! Booked this for my father-in-law who came to visit me and my husband. He spent most of the day with us and appreciated being able to go back to his own place in the evenings where it’s spacious, comfy, clean, and quiet. He sends his thanks for the hot chocolate powder that was in the apartment. It was very thoughtful of the hosts. We will definitely book again when he comes back to visit. 🙂

Our stay here was excellent! We needed a place close to the airport for an early morning flight, and this location was perfect—just about five minutes away. The unit also had a washer and dryer, which made it easy for us to do laundry before leaving. I would definitely stay here again!

This Airbnb is a nature lover's dream. Beside the bedroom and bathroom, everything is outside! We enjoyed cooking, reading, and playing cards outside on the covered patio. There are lots of birds and lizards to see and the landscaping is beautiful. We used the pool daily, which is in a very cute area. The location is close to downtown Sarchi. Alonso was very responsive to everything we needed.

Marcela is very friendly and responsive. She provided us with a list of restaurants nearby which was helpful. The place is within walkable distance to restaurants, bars, shopping center, etc. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Ana Ruth and Al were fabulous hosts and very kind to all of us. The house is beautiful and has a fantastic floor plan for larger parties.

The place is very nice! Super cozy and incredibly spotless. Everything is super clean, with a beautiful taste for decorating. The gentlemen were super nice, they helped us get in; I was super sick from something we ate on the way and we arrived at night and the pharmacies were closed. The man told me that after a while it was "pega" and that the wife was "sobadora; that if I wanted, she would massage me (Only the Ticos will understand). Then they offered me a chamomile tea to make me feel better. Thank you very much🩷. You saved our night. We would definitely go back. PS: they have a popcorn machine 🍿 and even leave corn for you to make; just to get there, watch a movie and rest.

I spent three months here, and everything was great! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It had everything I needed, including good internet, a fully equipped kitchen, and cozy furniture. The location was convenient, close to shops and public transport. Communication with Tatiana was easy, and she was always helpful and responsive.🏡✨

Kimberly was a great host! She was very welcoming and responsive. I had some trouble with getting in & out of the house and she responded and came to help me right away. The space is exactly like what is listed on the pictures. I felt safe in the neighborhood and there was plenty of restaurants & shopping in walking distance. The neighbors do have dogs that can bark quite a bit but during the night, they were quiet. Not to the fault of Kimberly though. Would stay here again for the price & location & how friendly Kimberly was! Thank you again Kimberly!

We stayed with Ivan for two nights and had a great stay. Ivan was very helpful and helped us with all questions and gave us tips. The bed is very comfortable and there is AC and a fan. The kitchen is not suitable for large cooking, but small things are possible. For a short stay, we would recommend the apartment ☺️

Nice place, clean, easy to get in. it's within an enclosed neighborhood in alajuela. about a 15-20 min walk to nearest food or supermarket. only downside was being able to hear the neighbors through the bedroom wall during dinner time. Great deal!

A nice little stay near the airport. I walked from the airport and it seemed safe the entire way. Very easy check in , good for if you get to San Jose late at night. Would recommend for nights of arrival/ departure. Sound wasn’t a big issue as some other comments stated. You will hear some but honestly less noise than most hostels.
