Andrea was an exceptional host, very helpful and responsive. The place was more beautiful than the photos and the attention to detail inside was very nice. I highly recommend a stay here for a very peaceful, restful, and for the amazing views and experience.

My friend and I really appreciated Ana Maria's hospitality and her family's gorgeous home. We loved the special personal touches including the jungle of house plants and well-stocked library with board games and books. Having the fireplace stocked with wood made it possible to have the perfect ambiance for reading in front of the fire on a misty afternoon! We found it helpful to have earplugs at night, as the home is close to a transit road, and earplugs did the trick to help us sleep soundly.

Truly splendid stay! Inflatable jacuzzi was amazing! And you can’t beat fresh clean water, chlorine free! We absolutely loved the place. We would definitely come again. Amazing price, definitely worth what we paid. It works great for a family with up to 4 children. Our king size bed was comfortable completely a dream. Nice kitchen well stocked. Huge glass front gives the house a sunny open feel. Even had a washer and dryer to get laundry done. Even provided laundry soap and extra toilet paper when needed. There’s even a simple grill and charcoal we used to grill supper.

Fantastic view and a really nice property. We didn’t get to see much of the surroundings due to unfortunate weather, but we enjoyed the house a lot. The area is beautiful, even on a rainy day, and the house is very close to the poas volcano, yet far enough away that you are not surrounded by tourists.

This was an amazing AirBnB there is far more to do and enjoy on the farm than you expect. The farm is enormous and there is a short hike down a little hill through the jungle that leads down to a big open area for cattle where you can cross a stream and enjoy the beautiful nature. Also there is this great, cheap restaurant called Victorino's which is relatively close.

We stayed for two weeks and felt sad to leave. Yuliana and her parents were great hosts, always responsive and helpful, recommending places to eat and visit and the occasional gift. Throw into that their dogs who asked for little more than a belly rub for their friendship. The cottage itself was as described. Large screened windows kept the place aired and let the sounds of nature flood in. The lack of aircon meant it was often hot especially upstairs and in the afternoon but what you get in return is a deeper connection to your surroundings. This included visits from capuchin and howler monkeys, birds, bats, toads and countless butterflies, and a diverse range of insects. The screens are pretty good at keeping the latter outside, and you can close the windows. Wi-Fi is decent and other amenities as described. With the heat we didn’t cook much but the option was there. We’d 100% return for the hospitality, the closeness to nature and the dogs.

Neal and Diane were very helpful. we had some issues with the car, contacting folks back home. They gave us some good tips. I had an issue with my knee and they gave me the number to a physical therapist in the area. Claudia was great, I was experiencing no pain by the time I left. The pool was a good place to watch storms move in and out from. The birds and other ani.als made it wonderful to look at. There property is just so beautiful. Tronodora is small but has all the things in a short walk for a long stay or a short stay. We had a car but on most days we simply walked into town. We fid hang out with there two dogs, Franny and Albert. They were cute, loving, creatures.

Chechey is a great host, he is very responsive and kind. The place was very well located in the center of Bijagua, and it is in a quiet street. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. I definitely recommend the place!

Le logement est absolument incroyable. Toutes les activités sont très proches, le logement est super bien entretenu et magnifique et l’hôte est impliquée. Je recommande à 100% pour le prix très abordable.

Très bel endroit, le jardin est sublime, en pleine nature et la vue en haut du chemin est juste incroyable ! Le logement est confortable et la terrasse très appréciable. Il est idéalement situé pour profiter des nombreuses activités de la région. Yania est très accueillante et les échanges chaleureux! Une adresse à retenir !

Ana was an amazing host who was very responsive and helpful. She was welcoming, and the place was clean and as described. Would highly recommend staying here. Everything was clean, well maintained, and in a beautiful area. Host was extremely helpful and made us feel at home.

El lugar es lindísimo, con muchísimas áreas verdes y un jardín precioso. La casa es hermosa y muy amplia, ideal para seis personas. Está súper bien ubicada, a solo unos minutos del centro de Nicoya. Katia y Carlos fueron excelentes anfitriones: siempre atentos, muy amables y respondieron todas nuestras dudas con paciencia. El lugar tiene muchos árboles frutales, lo que atrae una gran variedad de aves. Si les gusta la observación, es perfecto: vimos trogones, aracaris, titiras, motomotos y más. La piscina es preciosa, al igual que el rancho, ideal para relajarse rodeado de naturaleza. ¡Definitivamente volveremos!

The location was perfect for visiting Coffee yours, La Paz and other points of interest. The restaurant food and service was amazing. The weather did not cooperate as it was rainy and cold so we had to use the 2 space heaters and the wood fireplace to keep warm. All supplies were there to get the fire going. I would stay here again. I can understand why in the rainy months a 4x4 is recommended as the drive up is wet and muddy and between the cow pastures. It’s a cool part of the place that made it different from anywhere else.

We had a very nice stay at Eric’s place. Everything felt very clean and on the newer side, and it was all accurate to the pictures. It was easy enough to find if you follow the directions, and while the house was private, we felt close enough to downtown when we needed something. The yard is lovely and my kids were in the hammock and yard every day. We were only cooking breakfasts, but the kitchen had everything we needed. We would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Sometimes pictures make a place look a lot nicer than it is, but in this situation the place is even more beautiful in person. There is plenty of space especially for its size, a well stocked kitchenette, and great shelving and storage. We initially got a little confused trying to find the location with our apps, but Aurora’s very detailed message with photos got us where we needed to be. We really appreciated her proactive and thorough communication. This is somewhere we would have been happy in on an extended stay. It’s not far from Santa Elana but is removed enough to be peaceful, and the back deck and beautiful window wall with string lights was a beautiful and ambient touch. This is sincerely the best bang for buck place we have ever stayed in and highly recommend it!

Sin dudarlo regresaria a este lugar. Es simplemente hermoso e ideal para relajarse. Hermosas vistas y el lugar esta decorado con muy buen gusto y de forma acogedora. Recomiendo llegar en el dia, ya que es una zona con pocas construcciones y se deben seguir algunos rotulos en el camino; pero la host comparte indicaciones super detalladas para llegar sin perderse. Tuve mucho miedo de ir a la zona, ya que viajaba de noche; sin embargo la host estuvo siempre pendiente para brindarme acompanamiento y alternativas. Un lugar super recomendado y disfrutado.

La fortuna nunca decepciona y en esta ocasión en el hospedaje de Adrian no fue la excepción, su casa es simplemente hermosa, acogedora y con una vista increíble, cuenta con lo necesario para hacer de la estadía muy placentera. El anfitrión 10/10, con su amabilidad, claridad y manera oportuna de brindar información hizo de nuestra primer experiencia en un airbnb muy agradable, Adrián muchas gracias.

We loved our stay! We nicknamed the patio the patio of peace. The surroundings are beautiful. The insects and birds sing to you all day. Clean and comfortable. About 15-20 min drive into downtown La Fortuna. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful home….. beautiful grounds. If you are booking transportation I would only accept Adrian as your driver, he is awesome.
