It's better than how it's shown in pictures! The place is very quiet and relaxing! The attention of the super friendly staff especially Flory! We went with the pets and they were super well received to a bed they gave us for them, the view and the sunset from the place is amazing The cool pool and green area surroundings you need to rest

We had so much fun staying on the farm! It was beautiful with all the paths and plants throughout the property. We really enjoyed the included cocoa farm tour and the food was delicious. So many great amenities and easy access to Rio Celeste for our hike. Staying here was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend and we will be staying again someday.

Excellent little hostel for a quick stay! I had a private bedroom with a big bed, and shared a bathroom. The place was exceptionally clean and had everything I needed for a few nights. The location is great, with a mini market and a variety of restaurant options nearby (Soda la Amistad was excellent). There is also a well-equipped kitchen for those that would prefer to make their own food. Jonathan communicated very well and recommended a great taxi driver for me. Would definitely recommend staying here as the value is unmatched!

Great place to stay when visiting La Fortuna. Very spacious clean apartment with good aircon. The balcony was nice and a great place to relax. Koky was friendly and helpful, would recommend this place!

Johanna's place is a real oasis. There were many things that made it feel so: sleeping so close to the river, being able to wake up and walk down to the water, cooking in the open kitchen with a view, finding stillness in the garden so easily, practicing movement in the open shala while enjoying all the shades of green, the singing birds, the howling monkeys... Johanna was helpful and responsive in preparation of and during my stay. Her recommendations were spot on. I was also able to take a yoga class with her and other locals, which was really nice. The location is really good too: isolated enough from the busyness, but close to Guadalajara, Nuevo Arenal and Tilaran. This place is a hidden gem, I cannot believe how lucky I was to stumble upon it here. If you're doubting whether to book a stay here, just do it.

very sweet team, beautiful grounds and nice room. perfectly close to everything in town, with a beautiful lush garden right outside your door. breakfast service was a huge plus each day, and the pool area was perfect for our 3 year old.

We bookended our trip here, start and finish. Both times, staff were extremely helpful and courteous, rooms and grounds clean and well maintained. Hoping for another trip with a longer stay sometime soon!

My friends and I feel so lucky to have found BAUMA for our stay in La Fortuna. It didn’t disappoint. We loved having our own rooms with a common space to interact. The pool was a wonderful bonus. The landscaping was lush and luxurious. And we loved our view of Arenal. The interior was well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. We loved all of the poolside lounge furniture. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the AC in the bedrooms. BAUMA is half a kilometer from a small grocery store and several restaurants. The prime location near hot springs, the waterfall, the town, and key sites could not have been better. Communication with the host was excellent, and the staff onsite was helpful and friendly. BAUMA is offered at a great price point, less expensive than nearby resorts while offering luxury accommodations.

Beautiful place, the views are stunning to say the least! Host was responsive, instructions were quite easy for check in and the place was clean. I absolutely would recommend staying here! Oh & as a bonus they have a pool!:)

We had a great time. Very spacious home on a lot of land. Great for large groups.

Great house and incredible backyard. Lots for kids to do. Comfortable for our group of 9. Easy to get from the house to everything we had planned.

My first experience with Airbnb and it couldn't have been better! I was looking for peace, tranquility, focus and something cozy where I could be creative; I literally found that and more. Thank you for just a little comment maybe updating your reservations because we had found it the first time and because the guy at the front desk told us that we didn't have a reservation I picked up 1 more hour while I had found the first time and my reservation air b and b had not entered your system but otherwise everything was perfect thank you

The place is lovely, extremely private and peaceful with little traffic. Ronald and Alejandra were great hosts, providing great recommendations of things to do and places to eat nearby.

A highly recommended place to rest with the best view of the lake, clean, safe, super comfortable beds, everything very clean, the balcony facing the lake was the most beautiful, delicious nearby restaurants with typical food and we really enjoyed the lake tours.

Rosa was a great host. she's very nice and accommodating! Cabin is quite spacious and beautiful! we wish we could have spent more time enjoying the pool but we arrived later than expected and had to leave quite early for an excursion. The restaurant on grounds was great. the food is excellent and the atmosphere (especially during the evening) is quite nice. The roads to the location are quite rugged and windy but that's definitely not the hosts fault!

We had a lovely stay at Ana’s place. It’s a very nice decorated open tree house - so of corse there are some animals - but it was no problem with the insect net around the bed. In the morning we walked together through the property were we met all the other animals and everything was explained to us. The breakfast was really delicious and we felt very welcomed by the family . Thank you so much for the experience!

we loved our studio apt. it was an excellent, efficient design with TV and terrific hot water. the full refrig and great little kitchen was great. francisco is a wonderful host and a pleasure to deal with. we highly recommend this place. it is an excellent value.
