Beachfront vacation rentals in Alajuela Province

El lugar es súper lindo y tranquilo, igual a las fotos, la casa está muy bien equipada, de fácil acceso para todo tipo de carro. Es perfecta para ir con adultos mayores, no hay gradas y solo hay rampas tanto en l casa como en la piscina. Randall fue muy amable, accesible y respondía rápido. De fijo volveremos!

This villa is amazing. The comfort and view are quite unique. The villa has everything you can dream of as cooking utensils. The Roma Del Mar complex is very nice too. We enjoyed a lot the pool and view all day, with often the visit of howler monkeys. The restaurant, beach and kids zipline and trampoline down the hill are just excellent amenities for families. Noelia was very helpful with recommandations of activities and things to do. We also enjoyed a lot the massages from Annie. We also had Carmen cook some typical tico meals for us twice during our stay and the experience was great! We would go back anytime. Thanks much!

Un alojamiento con muchas plantas tropicales y zonas verdes muy bien cuidadas. La piscina muy limpia y agua bien filtrada. La construcción es vieja, aunque está conservada. Está ubicada en zona poblada, aunque es silenciosa en la noche.

This was an amazing get away for my family. The pool is amazing the space is very spacious and the kitchen well equipped. It’s the perfect location for a big group we had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant near the house.

Daniel easily gave me the caretakers number, he met us upon arrival, helped us carry our bags, gave us a through walk through of the house, showing us how to use appliances, and location of all items. The house was wonderful with doors open and nice breezes from the ocean. The ocean was just feet away and the water warm. The beach at places had trash but by the ocean itself was clean and peaceful and we felt safe. We all enjoyed the pool, there were 6 adults and a 20 month old baby. The baby enjoyed the tours and books. We were also given some limes and bananas which made us feel special. Johnny the caretaker was extra nice and readily available to help in any way. His wife made and gave us rice with milk pudding which was very good and again a special treat. We enjoyed the birds and iguana around the property too. A wonderful place for our family to vacation

beautiful country setting, waking up each day to the roosters, other birds, howler monkeys and cows. we definitely needed the car to get around. the house manager, Trino, and Alberto, the owner, were both super friendly, accommodatingl and responsive.

Randy's House is just 5 minutes drive from the entrance of the Carara National Park. His house is easy to find, very good equipped kitchen can be used. Nice garden and swimming pool as well. Beach front, swimming in the sea is marvellous, sun sets, too. Restaurants in walking distance just around the place. We would chose Randy's place again being in this area!

Una casa clásica de Puntarenas, muy bien mantenida. Es una casa con sus años, pero eso lo hace aún mejor para mi gusto. La propiedad es preciosa, los jardines muy bien mantenidos y mucho espacio. Una gran experiencia.

Our family of 10 had an amazing time at Cantamar, especially the pool, backyard and beautiful beach. The house is well laid out and had everything we needed. Bruce was a great host and responsive to all requests. Joel and his wife were also friendly and prompt to help with anything we needed. Would definitely stay again & highly recommend.

The house was exactly what we expected. A little in need of updating. Slight signs of wear and tear, but comfortable and cleanish. We enjoyed our stay, and wish we had planned more time at this location. Beach was covered in trash and driftwood (I know its out of the owners control, but just want future guests to know). Beautiful beach access. Recommend!

Nos encantó la visita. La habitación era cómoda y estaba limpia. La vista es hermosa. Le faltan electrodomésticos y un TV. La piscina es pequeña pero hay espacio para hacer una mas grande. El acceso a la playa está bien y cerca. La playa nos encantó. La comida estuvo deliciosa. Volveremos! Gracias Travis!

Our stay with my family was amazing! We loved Costa Rica and the house made it even better. We were off the beaten path which we loved. We could stay at the place and enjoy the pool or take a walk on the black sand beach. If we wanted to go tour we could do that too. Edgardo, the concierge, was absolutely amazing. He was there every step of the way, even helping us navigate to the home at 2:00 am after a fligh delay. He helped us navigate some tours and they were amazing. We experienced the crocodiles in Taarcoles, an excursion to Tortuga Island was breathtaking (except for me stepping on a sea urching, totally my fault), the monkey house was a must see. Monkeys crawlingn all over us and being so friendly. The El Encanot waterfalls were gorgeous and a Costa Rican traditional meals after was so good. Food was amazing everywhere. I only hope I get to go back someday and would recommend this house. Very roomy and comfortable for my family. I am so happy we chose this place!

El lugar es muy lindo, y todo quedaba muy cerca. Aparte de que el precio está excelente para todo lo que incluye el airbnb ( cocina, refri, aire acondicionado, ducha, entre otras cosas más )

Las personas son muy amables y la isla tiene muchos lugares hermosos para visitar, camino a la Playa la española, se puede apreciar el hermoso atardecer, y en Playa Albina logramos ver un espectacular amanecer. y no podemos olvidar lo fresco y delicioso que son los mariscos.

A gorgeous lodge in the wilderness! Secluded, but homey thanks to the warmth of our hostess. She was kind enough to point out a mother and baby sloth on the premises, and from our porch, we delighted in a host of wildlife sightings; everything from monkeys to toucans. The view of the river and surrounding jungle is hard to beat, as well (We saw a few rafters coming down the pike.). All in all, we give it our highest endorsement!

the Airbnb was 5 starts for the price. clean and safe. everything you need with a restaurant and groceries across the street. street sounds can be heard throughout the night, so beware if you're a light sleeper and need absolute quite. but the home was lovely. I would definitely stay again

A truly unforgettable stay at a private beachfront paradise Our stay at Vesna and Oak’s place was absolutely incredible. The property is a true gem- with direct access to a stunningly wide beach and one of the best surf breaks in Costa Rica. The location is ideal—about an hour from the San José airport. The property manager, Bernal, was really helpful with things to do and we felt completely safe. We spent our days surfing, paddle boarding, and exploring waterfalls and jungle trails. The nearby restaurants were fantastic. The house itself was really clean, spacious and comfortable. We opened the sliding glass doors to enjoy a cool breeze in the living room while playing games every evening. Each bedroom had its own AC, so we slept like babies. The sunset, ocean views from the house were unbeatable. There are even ping pong and foosball tables - bonus! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back!

Excelente vista al mar y cerca del faro.

Maison très agréable et fidèle aux photos avec accès direct sur la plage. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir quotidiennement la visite de aras rouges. Le bémol, l’escalier qui donne accès a la plage est en ruine et dangereux ( tiges de fer rouillés, marches cassées en deux) et la plage etait extrêmement sale ( déchets en tous genres et de toutes les tailles :porte de frigo, planches, plastiques, verre, etc…). Quel dommage que les propriétaires des maisons du lotissement ne fassent pas un effort pour collecter tous les dechets qui gâchent cette plage magnifique!!
