A really fantastic place to stay. Every member of the family loved it. This was a house that you wanted to hang out in and felt really home from home. High quality and immaculate. Loved the location and the peace and quiet!

We had a fantastic week at Beachside. The house and location were amazing. You’re only 2 mins walk from the beach.The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds made for restful sleep.The location was perfect for exploring the local attractions and the best beach was just next to us.Also amazing view from the house!Highly recommend this beautiful property to others.

Perfect location to explore the area, especially for the Maritime Festival which was right outside and a great atmosphere. Very well equipt house and felt home from home. The only thing I would say is that the floorboards upstairs are very noisy and the bedroom doors squeak so might not be the best for light sleepers, didn't bother us too much as had young children so we knew when they got up in the night 🤣🤣

Helen was so helpful! Her place is absolutely spotless. Well equipped for a family! Kitchen is fantastic, everything you need! Great garden area which is private and secure which was perfect for our pooch! This house is exceptionally clean. We will be back - Thank you Helen x

It’s a lovely large house, with incredible views. Great kitchen to cook from home, lots of space and big bedrooms. Great place, definitely recommend!

What a fantastic place. You instantly felt like home from the moment you walked in, really clean and had everything you needed to cook meals from scratch in the kitchen. Great location if you don’t want to drive, everything is a couple minutes walk from the house - can easily walk to the beach or the shops without driving. Bonus for us, there was an EV charger that Sue remote controlled so we could just plug in and top the car up. Would love to stay again, not sure we’ll ever get weather this good again though.

If you’re looking for a beautiful home right on the water, this is the place you want to be! The location cannot be beat and the home is beautiful and comfy, and everything is done to the highest level. Thank you, Edd and Andrea for an amazing four days in Devon! We will be back!

Had a fantastic time with all my family, had everything you could possibly need and more!, games room was fantastic! Hot tub with the most amazing view, Huge dinner table was lovely to have all the family have a meal together. Everything was clean and smells great, so much space ! Neil was extremely responsive, would definitely book again

We had a fabulous stay at Capella. It's a beautiful house in a great location and tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful place, great interior with beach style decorations. Toys in the 2nd bedroom. Very clean and well presented house. Perfect sea view, close to the main club house where all the action is, also close to the main park. Cute welcome package of necessities, which was very helpful as we got there late on the Friday night.

Great house in lovely location. Layout suited us well (2 families with kids and grandparents). Washing facilities proved very useful. Pool rota worked well and there was always a time available that suited us (open 8am-7pm). Host responded quickly. Lacking house guidance but not a problem and host responded to advise. Note access into house could be an issue for less able and push chairs-steep steps to front and lowest step broken away (advised host so this might get fixed). Rear access via steps and narrow sloping and muddy path. Parking to rear -you block in your other car. Parking spaces not spacious but adequate. We loved it thank you Beach Retreats!

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the chalet and Jen and Nat as hosts. We had a small issue the first night and they replied immediately to resolve it and were friendly, helpful and apologetic. The chalet is in a great location on the holiday park, leading out onto a green, and a 1 minute walk from the main clubhouse and playground so it was ideal for us as a family. Would highly recommend.

We stayed in this home during our vacation, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The location was perfect—very quiet and offering an ideal atmosphere for relaxation. All amenities were available, from a fully equipped kitchen to high-speed internet and excellent heating, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more, making us feel completely at home. It was a truly special stay, and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and tranquility in a great location. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Everything was as described. Neil was a great host and left a very generous welcome pack and a really useful folder of information. The house is in a good location, is spacious, and has amazing showers (although the high water pressure was less useful when our son drowned the kitchen as soon as we arrived!). The kitchen, although not that modern, is large and very well equipped. We didn't use the dining area much except for meals: it was a bit chilly (bring slippers for the tiled floor), there were no blinds on the windows, and WiFi didn't reach well into that room. In fact, it's worth bringing a collapsible table if you plan to use a laptop much in the house. The beds were all really comfortable but the curtains in most bedrooms are very light and thin so blackout blinds are advised. We stayed outside the swimming pool opening season but used the pool at Ruda down the road which was really fun. The pool table was great for an extra activity on rainy days. Overall, we'd recommend.

Great house in a perfect location to walk to the beach. Spotlessly clean with everywhere well equipped. This was our second visit and we will return again soon. Cori is a great host who is very helpful and does everything she can to ensure you enjoy your stay.

We had a fantastic long weekend in Combe Martin. We were attending a wedding locally (in February) with our Toddler, new born, grandparents and their dog in tow! The cottage was perfect for our needs with plenty of space for all of us. It’s cozy and the setting is beautiful which turned what would have been a short flying visit into a wonderful family holiday. Not a lot is open locally in the depths of winter in Combe Martin but our toddler lived exploring the beach and rock pools regardless of the temperature and we loved strapping the kids into their carriers and yomping up some of the local hills. Zandra was so friendly, helpful and informative - which really aided with the stress of travelling with a newborn. We have already discussed returning - when the weather is a bit warmer!

Lovely pad in lovely Croyde, highly recommend. The only (and this is very much a tiny point to help inform others) is that there was no table, make-up table or desk space in the bedrooms downstairs (which for my kids doing revision was a slight issue). But that's a minor quibble.

Myself and my fiancée stayed at the Banyan over the Easter weekend for a relaxing getaway, and our stay has been nothing short of this. We were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel at home instantly. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described - if not better! Alex & Jules were incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect too, close to great restaurants, shops, and some great beaches! The recommendations from the hosts were perfect and gave us a great idea on what to do and were to eat. We especially appreciated the little personal easter touches that made the space feel like home. We definitely will be coming back here and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Tartooga is in a great location for access to Woolacombe and the beach but also peaceful and felt private. Keida communicated well and rushed to get the house ready for us to check in early. The parking space opposite is really handy as parking is expensive. Photos and listing accurate. Kids liked the bunk bed and Keida added a mattress in the bedroom so we did not have to set up the sofa bed each night for the older child. Thank you for a lovely stay
