Amazing views, huge waves, lovely place to be whatever the weather. Very warm, large living area. Great communication from hosts. Nobody in the apartment beneath us but it feels really solid so don't think we'd hear each other very much and there's always the sound of the sea. The biggest bed ever and really comfortable. Large 60/40 fridge-freezer. Very clean and well presented.

Had a fantastic stay in Pippa’s place with my family this weekend. Really good value for such a lovely place. Had the best weekend exploring the Devon coastline. Plenty of places to surf and eat. The place was clean, spacious and really well stocked. I usually carry a lot of ‘utilities’ with me when travelling but I didn’t need any of them in Pippa’s place. Was also really nice to be able to properly unpack as there is ample storage space. My children loved it too!

Steve was an absolutely wonderful host—so pleasant, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. He made everything easy and welcoming from the moment I arrived. My wife and I escaped to the Drey for a couple of nights to celebrate our birthdays. From the point of booking, Glenn and Lisa were friendly and proactive, making us feel welcome long before we arrived. The space itself is wonderful for spending time outdoors, even (or perhaps, especially) during the deluge on our first night. The hot tub and wood burner were both lit before we arrived. The covered outdoor areas are warm and cosy, with blankets, throws and dryrobes for use. We had intended to use the stay as a base for exploring North Devon but opted, instead, to spend two days in the tranquil privacy and luxury of the Drey. We popped out for supplies to find the wood-fired hot tub lit and the outdoor kitchen prepped for our return. Great hosts made for a magical getaway. Such a lot of thought has gone into every detail at the Drey. Would most definitely recommend.

Highly recommended! We absolutely loved our stay at Debbie’s beautiful cabin — I couldn’t have chosen a better place! It was cosy, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The peaceful, secluded surroundings were just perfect — we didn’t see another person the entire time we were there which made it feel like a true escape. We even ended up changing our plans to go out one day just so we could stay in to enjoy the cabin and everything it had to offer— that’s how lovely it was! The hot tub and fire-pit was a real highlight for us and so relaxing, especially under the stars in the evening. Debbie was a fantastic host with great communication and the little treats she left for us were such a thoughtful touch. I honestly couldn’t fault a thing and would have loved to stay longer! We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much, Debbie! 🥰

Great 2 night stay at Laundry cottage. Beautiful interior, comfortable bed ( bit small- but only because we are used to a super king ) Plenty of parking spaces. Very Quiet. 15 min walk into town. Really nice to have milk, tea and biscuits provided. Noe TV or radio which was fine, if a bit unusual. I would definitely recommend it.

This was our second stay here, and we loved it just as much as the first time! Sarah and David’s thoughtful touches—like the Prosecco, milk, crisps, and biscuits—made us feel so welcome. The welcome booklet with local recommendations was super helpful, and we really appreciated the care that’s clearly gone into making the place feel special. We especially enjoyed the hike up to Raddon Top—it was well worth it for the views. The surrounding landscape is stunning and so so peaceful. The log burner made the place feel so cozy, and having playing cards there was a lovely bonus for chilled nights in and at the pub down the road. Sarah was always quick to respond to any questions. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Our fave Airbnb! Capra Cottage is stunning with very tasteful attention to detail, capturing the cosiness of its beautiful surroundings. We all loved it. The kids were particularly impressed with the WiFi speed - which is a massively important factor into their happiness when we go away! We ate out on the first night at The Chichester Arms. Great music, atmosphere, service and food! Walks are literally from the door step either way and in the cottage there’s a whole booklet to choose other local walks. The garden is beautiful with the amazing backdrop of the hills. The showers are powerful and beds are so comfortable. Everything was spotless. Loved it all! We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us!

We had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay in the pod. It’s in a beautiful location, overlooking the sea and rolling hills. The pod is well equipped despite it being small and cosy! It’s close to local beaches and good walking trails. Exmoor National Park is only a short car journey away - highly recommend the Heddon’s Mouth Circular Trail for a relaxed but scenic walk. A big thank you to John who was a great host - really speedy responses, good recommendations and even left us some scones on arrival!

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish, the cottage was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and the views were spectacular. Simon was a fab host and was able to efficiently assist with changes to the beds and understanding about our late arrival, still on site to greet and show us around, ensuring the hot tub was ready to go! A highly recommended stay, in fact a couple of members in the group are already planning to book again to stay with their families.

We had a lovely stay, with plenty for the children to do: they loved the play barn, the trampoline, the playground and the animals. We walked the Alpacas with Steve and he was very approachable and kind. The views are incredible from Venn Farm and we had fantastic weather. Everything was very well thought out and a lot of care has been taken to renovate the cottages and plant flowers and herbs. If you are looking for a farm stay this is a great place to be. We used the hot tub two nights in a row which was luxurious under the stars after a couple of stunning sunsets. We saw a shooting star! We also spotted a barn owl in the morning near the horse field which was very special. Steve and Zoe welcomed us with freshly laid eggs and bread and even gave us a little goodbye present.

It is literally around the corner but has no impact on the peaceful setting of Church Park. Amazing views from the house, spotlessly clean. We were looking for a quiet few days in Devon and that is exactly what we got. We cannot recommend Bec’s place highly enough. Lovely and cosy, easy to use kitchen and a wonderfully comfortable bed and sofa. It was easy to cater for ourselves as the kitchen is very well equiped with excellent appliances and utensils. Nature is all around and we spent a whole day watching the garden birds visit the garden and feeders.

Just returned from a fantastic week at Joe's place. The location was perfect and you didn't need to move your car if you didn't want too. The cottage had everything you need for a perfect holiday The beach was walkable and there were plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants that were all dog friendly. Joe sent us plenty of excellent recommendations to try. Must do: Electric bakery for breakfast La Boca Pizza and sit outside the Carriers pub Fabric painting at The Kitchen Front Mermaid Fish and chips shop. We sat outside every evening in the beautiful private courtyard and ate . Make use of the kayaks and body boarding equipment . We went to the beach every day as it was so close, sunset in the beach was fabulous. Joe and his brother Daniel were so helpful and responsive. I will definitely return and would highly recommend this place for a perfect holiday in Bude. Can't wait to see the new accommodation when it's finished . Thanks for a brilliant holiday and some great memories made!

We had the best stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. Check-in was easy, Diane was there to great us, with easy directional signage to park our car and unload our bags into a pullable trolley. Diane helped us settle in, explained how to use all amenities and the gorgeous outside bath. Everything that we needed was there. The kitchen is fully functioning, as is the bathroom. Towels are provided, which is great, alongside small extras such as make up remover flannels and dressing gowns. There are games under the seating and plenty of storage solutions to hide your bags. We sat out the first night, had a fire out after a hot bath and stargazed. There was another couple staying, but you wouldn’t have known. The area is private and peaceful. The alpacas were there to great us the next morning and the grounds are filled with all kinds of delightful sculptures. Everything was perfect, we can’t wait to visit again!

Scarlett's place is in a great location, a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 1 min walk from crescent long stay car park. It is situated at the bottom of the high street and so very close to all the shops, cafes and bakeries! We really enjoyed our time there and thought the flat felt spacious and homely. The beds were really comfy. too. The flat was very clean throughout, had everything we needed for a great stay and so we would definitely come back.

Stephen’s place is a self contained studio, consisting of a double bedroom with a large tv, bathroom/toilet, kitchen with all amenities and another tv. There is a small seating area outside. The place was very clean when we arrived. There are two electric heaters, keeping the place warm. Stephen left for us a bottle of wine and two bottles of water in a fridge. For breakfast we had a selection of four small boxes of cereals and a bottle of milk.

We had an amazing stay and will definitely be booking again in the future! The location was perfect — we especially loved having the golf course right out the back leading directly to the beach. The neighbourhood was peaceful and friendly, and there was plenty to do along the beachfront, just a short 10-minute walk away. Jilly was such a lovely host — she left us chocolates and other thoughtful amenities, and even checked in with us on our journey home. Her hospitality made our trip even more special. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a lovely short break at Rihanna's house. It was bright and clean inside and a great location for Barnstaple. We liked walking the dog in Rock Park, 5 mins down the road. The house is in a great location for exploring Devon.

We had a lovely comfortable 3 nights at Lynbridge House. We didn't use the car at all during our stay. There are plenty of beautiful walks from the apartment... The beds are comfortable, the showers are hot and the kitchen is well equipped....just what you need on a holiday!!! We will definitely book again when we visit the area.

Beautiful place to stay, about 3 minutes walk to the beach and next to places to eat and drink. It was clean and everything looked well maintained and looked after. Louise was fantastic, she welcomed us as we pulled up and responded to messages quickly. Would highly recommend

Had a fantastic time at the Neet. It really was a perfect place to stay especially if you are visiting Bude. We brought our 2 dogs and the garden was a great place for them to stretch their legs, fully enclosed and huge. On arrival, Lisa met us and explained everything, we also had fresh eggs and scones. The place was spotless, cosy and had everything you need from an Airbnb. Highly recommended !
