House vacation rentals in Woolacombe

The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

A fantastic week spent at Otters Den. Max is a great host, the house is absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean & everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The pool , games room & petting area is a fantastic addition & kept my family entertained for the week. We didn’t venture out much as we wanted to have a relaxing week but the walks we did go on where beautiful. Max & his family are such kind hosts with the little extra touches, late check out on Easter Sunday, an egg hunt for the kids with chocolate eggs being delivered to our door, supplying us with fresh eggs & topped us up with fire wood when needed ! Communication was great, Max always replied to us within the hour. I would highly recommend Otters Den

A lovely lodge in a small holiday park, the pool was an added bonus (outside and unheated but nice for a quick dip!)

Katherine and Tino’s place was just like the pictures but better. It had lots of little extras like children’s toys, books, high chair and cot making travelling with (slightly!) less clutter so much more helpful. They responded to all questions before and during the stay super quickly. The pool on site was an added bonus and booking system easy to use. Although there were quite a few houses, it seemed very quiet and private when we were there.

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

Epic views and surroundings at The North Hill Cottages. The friendly host family has an amazing spot the perfectly situated property lifts you high above the world to a place of tranquil peace and beauty. The cottage was perfect for us and the property offered as much or as little as we wanted to do. The hosts were responsive and available, the other guests were respectable and friendly as well. Highly recommended!

The place was absolutely lovely, clean, bright and cosy! Everything we needed was there, the bed was comfy and I had such a good nights sleep. The shower was lovely! Next time I head to Devon to see my family, I most certainly will be booking again. The hosts were very responsive and checked to make sure I had checked in ok and to see if everything was ok. Had no trouble parking. The hosts left a packet of biscuits on the table for us, which happened to be my favourite biscuits so enjoyed them dunked in my morning cuppa whilst looking at the stunning view! Very much appreciated and added to our lovely stay.

Wonderful family weekend spent in Peter's beautiful house. An idyllic spot, just perfect for walks and beach trips. The house is immaculate and has a wide range of kitchen utensils and other accessories to use. We loved the views from the deck. We have visited Woolacombe and Mortehoe many times in past decades, and it was delightful to return to visit and stay in such well appointed accommodation. Thank you.

This was a fantastic place to stay, very clean and tidy. Lots of equipment and a wonderful welcome pack. It was a 20 minute walk to the beach and although the weather was a bit wet, it was still okay to walk with boots. We had 6 adults, and a 5 year old and 2 year old, both fascinated with the garden which is quite large and an interesting layout. We would definitely recommend it, and would book again if we come back to the area.

We had the most wonderful week at Jon’s place and absolutely fell in love with it and the area!!! Jon communicated brilliantly with us throughout our stay and we felt help and advice was on hand if we needed it! Us and the dog settled in immediately and we felt it was like home from home from the start! The cottage is extremely spacious and very comfortable. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and the beds were extremely comfortable! Gorgeous gardens too! For me it was the kitchen! We didn’t want to eat out as we do enough of that in London so to have a fully kitted out kitchen was fantastic! They have thought about everything!!! It was so peaceful in the cottage - the dog hardly barked the whole week! I walked quite a bit and the stunning putsborough beach was a lovely walk (less than 10mins)or if I’d prefer less than 3 minute drive where the dog had endless hours of fun! It is dog friendly all year! I cannot recommend jons place enough! It was utter perfection!

What an amazing stay in Croyde. The house was fantastic ❤️ so lovely!! The location is amazing , so close to everything and Croyde Village is great… small but everything you need for a lovely holiday. Would highly recommend x

Lovely location! Richard was proactive in letting us know we could check in early if we wished and even offered us extra nights and late checkout when he had a last minute cancellation. Quiet and peaceful location for us to explore the area. The bed and bedding were the comfiest of any Airbnb we have stayed in! Handy features like a drying room, storage cupboard with coat hooks, outdoor shower and furniture. Parking pass for Putsborough beach car park was really useful for exploring too! Very dog friendly with high, secure fencing and outdoor shower.

We were so comfortable staying at Edds house. It’s one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was carefully thought out and we appreciated all of the small touches (particularly the bag of local fudge!). I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This is the biggest and best Airbnb we've stayed in. Apart from being spacious, uncluttered and clean, it felt luxurious and generous. EG The bed gave me the best night's sleep for a long time, the hand soaps were high quality, the hot water appeared almost instantly and the kitchen was generously equipped. We didn't get to meet Simon, but the communication was clear and we felt trusted just to get on and enjoy the holiday. A very special place and host.

Georges house is a lovely bright and airy space with everything you need. The location is perfect - so close to lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. Lynton is a beautiful little town. George sent lots of helpful information re access and parking before our arrival and it was really easy to find the house and car parking close by.

A great location and a fantastic place to stay, the house is very modern and well equipped, as well as only being a short walk to the beach or Croyde centre. I would definitely recommend!

This place is definitely something special. It is the nicest, most comfortable place, I have stayed in on Air B@B . I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely home, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Great for 4 legged friends with a secure garden and suitable furnishings etc. The home is in a lovely area , with great views over the estuary from the rear of the house, particularly the main bedroom. Bideford itself is very pretty and a good base for exploring North Devon as it is close to the A39 / Atlantic Highway.

House has been furnished to a beautiful standard and very clean. Such an incredible view, we mostly walked or explored a beach in the morning and had lazy afternoons enjoying the view. Had everything we needed, including large saucepans for big family meals and a grippy bath mat for the toddler. Showers were excellent, great to have over bath and walk in for our elders. Location was perfect, a quiet spot (in March anyway), town a short walk down the hill and Woolacombe beach and Barricane Beach a short walk away too (both are excellent). Optional stair gates and toys and books suitable for a toddler were very much enjoyed and appreciated, he loved running off to the wardrobe and bringing us back a new book to read. Wonderful to be allowed to bring the dog to such a beautiful home, and she had a welcome biscuit! She enjoyed the local beaches and was allowed in all the cafes and pubs we visited. Would love to visit again, what a great holiday!

One word … lush!! What a beautiful spot, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, yet still so close to lovely beaches, scenic walks, and plenty of things to do. I could have happily moved into the cottage, it was absolutely perfect. We were welcomed with thoughtful gifts of fresh bread, eggs and cake, which was such a lovely touch. I’m going to miss sipping my wine on the sun trap terrace listening to the sheep. Would love to book to visit again soon.
