Beachfront vacation rentals in Wilmington

We stayed the weekend as a little beach getaway for our son’s 1st birthday, and couldn’t have had a better experience! The condo was clean and had beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful and relaxing!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at A Wave From it All, and it did not disappoint. We stayed for 4 nights, and were able to enjoy the beach and the activities with no problem. The only downside was that the pool was unfortunately closed for our time here, and we had originally chose this place based on the fact that there was also a pool, however that isn’t something Jenna could control of course as they were doing construction on it; we did not know until we arrived. However, the restaurants and the boardwalk are all very close, as well as the beach access being right across from our house. We walked the pond most nights as well which was nice. Overall, we had a great experience here and will be staying again next year.

A beautifully decorated condo that’s more spacious than the pictures and a quiet spot with ocean views . We enjoyed sitting on the patio for afternoon cocktails listening to the waves this week. Chad is an excellent host and we appreciated ALL the extra thoughtful touches and the local suggestions. Perfect for a couple looking to get away to relax. We would stay here again!

We spent a beautiful and relaxing week at Wendy & Jeff's Seascape. The place is EXACTLY like the photos, the view from the balcony is a dream!! Waking up to the ocean sounds every morning is something we will never forget. The apartment is very well-stocked with all the items you need to enjoy the beach, clean up afterward (lots of hot water and good shower pressure!) and cook a delicious meal (plenty of kitchen gadgets). Very easy to walk around the neighborhood, up to the pier for quick eats, or less than a mile to the little mini-mart. Parking is easy. Area is safe. The pool area across the street was clean and fun too! The hosts gave excellent, clear instructions for arrival/departure and even checked in on us via the app during our stay. 10/10 experience. Host was very accommodating, professional, and very personable. We enjoyed our stay and would 110% recommend to anyone!!! Will definitely be back!!

We had an amazing stay at Harmony’s place! It was super clean, incredible views of the ocean and watching the sunsets each night. The place was beautifully decorated and up to date appliances, everything we needed was there. Comfortable beds and pillow were a plus. We loved how easy it was to walk right out to the beach. Having two young kids, it was awesome to have beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, umbrella and MORE all provided! Short walk to the pier for food at Koko Cabana and Ruby’s coffee. We hope to make Oak Island our family spot each year and will book this condo again!

The view was beautiful and Kristen was a great host. My husband had a kidney stone attack the day before we left and she was willing to work with us if we had to stay another night but he felt well enough to leave the next day as he had a doctor‘s appointment scheduled the next day. The view was spectacular!!

Denise has thought of everything. Her condo is absolutely perfect, a very private and peaceful place. The pictures are accurate and in person it’s even better. My best friend and I have been going on beach trips for 9 years, so we have seen many beach houses. We know what we want and we FINALLY found one we are returning to next year for our 10th to celebrate 40 years of friendship. I can’t think of a better place for it. ♥️ Denise is very detailed with YOUR experience. She has literally thought of all your needs and the home is emasculate. I cannot say enough about this GEM. It was clean, modern, stocked and comfortable. The view was AMAZING. The privacy was incredible. A total reset from “adulting”. I cannot say enough except STAY HERE, STOP LOOKING! For my first time renting an Airbnb it was overall a great experience, and filled with lots of memories because of this place (6 people in total) plenty of room for all of us the kitchen table is big which is really nice and the outdoor deck is what really sold us, enough outside seating as well. The hot tub was great. The neighborhood was very relaxed and quiet.

I stayed for a bachelorette weekend, all the ladies agreed that everything was incredible! So beautiful, but also so comfortable! The owner was incredibly responsive, kind, and thoughtful. Plus, all the guidelines were clear. I couldn't recommend it more!

Steve’s condo was EXTREMELY clean, maintained and cozy. The view of the ocean here is amazing, it’s about as close to the ocean as you can get! The beach was clean and pretty easy to walk and not nearly as crowded as other places, this condo is also located directly beside the beach access!! Steve as a host was incredible! He was very helpful and informative and wanted to make sure we had the best time possible. We are already thinking about returning to this location for next year’s vacation and if we do, we will certainly book with Steve at this same condo again!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The house was exactly as pictured & Beata was so friendly & easy to communicate with. The house was very clean (by far the most clean pet-friendly home we have stayed in). You would have no idea it was pet friendly if you were traveling without four legged children. We can’t wait to return next year!

The home was in a great location, just a short walk to the beach access. It was well-stocked with plenty of beach supplies, which our group of 8 really appreciated. Having an EV charger available was also a huge plus. The house had everything we needed and more for a comfortable stay. Brian was very responsive and provided helpful information ahead of our trip.

Amazing days in this beautiful place!!!! Dori is a great person that guide is with our special needs daughter. All was super clean and view is amazing! Bed super comfy . The wave’s sound is so amazing !!!! So good to relax

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! ✨ The weather was quite stormy on and off all week, but the proximity to the beach could not have been more convenient and made it super easy to come and go each day; the outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing the sand off; and it was so relaxing to sit on the covered porch with a glass of wine and listen to the rain! We even got a little use out of the hot tub - which was a nice addition as well. The place was super clean and hosts made us feel right at home - they even accommodated my dog when I reached out ahead of time for prior approval, which I really appreciated. Would 100% recommend staying here.

This beachfront condo was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. With running paths on the beach front area, historical site, and main road, we were able to get active before relaxing all day on the beach located just steps from our door! The condo was beautiful and updated with comfortable beds and everything we needed to cook. Steve was a phenomenal host; he was very communicative and responsive prior to check in. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you!

Matthew's place was awesome! Very close to the beach and near the main hub of Carolina Beach where you can get food and drinks!

Super cute house at Carolina Beach. Loved getting to stay there. They have great set up and close to the beach!

Overall, this was a great experience. She had clear instructions and was very responsive. The place was a short walk from the beach and it was cute and cozy!

Kimberly is a super-duper host. Her apartment was over-the-top clean, spacious, and well stocked with all kinds of kitchen wares and all the usual items you need on day one so you don’t have to dash to the grocery. And the location is the best, I think, in Carolina Beach. The building is new, modern, and quiet. You can easily walk to nearby restaurants, the Boardwalk, and all through the old neighborhoods. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

A very nice place, if you want to spend a great time relaxing this is the right place, at night there is a lot of noise, but you arrive tired and relaxed from the beach that doesn't even bother you to sleep.

This was an absolute 5-star stay. From the amenities (everything from beach towels to boogie boards, to a fully stocked kitchen) to the furnishings, it was like stepping into a dream home away from home. The ocean views from nearly every room were spectacular & the upper and lower decks had plenty of seating and safe gating. The host, Kate, was excellent to communicate with and each person in our party of 6 would gladly stay there again. Highly recommend.

5 stars – Incredible stay! This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The space was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described (if not better!). The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful throughout my stay. Every detail—from check-in to local recommendations—was perfect. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-tier Airbnb stay!

My family and I enjoyed our weekend at Skipper’s place. It was a nice area in a wonderful friendly neighborhood. The walk to the beach wasn’t very long and the place had all the amenities you could need. Would recommend to a couple staying in the area!
