Beachfront vacation rentals in North Carolina

What a treat! We can't wait to go back. Very clean and well stocked. The outdoor shower is such a nice touch. The hosts took feedback from other reviews because the home was spotless, with appliances in excellent condition

The house was just as described. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Kitchen was well-equipped for the most part. We did find that silverware ran out long before the dishes and needed to be washed before anything else, but not a big deal. Beautiful view of the beach and ocean. We felt very much at home. We enjoyed out stay!

Perfect location! Just a few steps to the beach on a coded private walkway. Within easy walkable distance to the boardwalk for us & our small dog. Britts donuts has always been one of my favorite places! Condo was very clean. The king bed was really comfy. Amanda messaged after we checked in to make sure everything was going good & that we didn't have any issues with anything. I would highly recommend this condo.

This place was just perfect for our week long getaway! It’s in a fantastic location, only a short walk to the beach and to several great restaurants. The apartment is small, but very clean, and perfect for two people. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

The cottage is downright adorable, perfect for a getaway! Host is incredibly helpful and friendly.

I really enjoyed my stay. The host is extremely nice and helpful! The location was central to every place I wanted to visit and I enjoyed that area. The Outer Banks in general was a bit more congested than I had anticipated but my airbnb was quaint and suited my purpose nicely. The host was very nice and gracious. There are a couple things that I think travelers should know when staying here. #1 The shower stall is very small. I'm 5' 11", approx 205 and the shower was VERY TIGHT for me. If you are a larger person than me you will struggle with the shower. There is no bath-tub to sit in where I stayed. #2 The parking is very tight and will only accommodate 1 vehicle that is medium sized. I had a Jeep Wrangler and it worked out well for me but if you have a larger vehicle or trailer it will be even tighter. #3 I stayed in a downstairs area and from time to time you could hear noise and footsteps above you but I did not find it problematic.

It’s a 25 min drive from the OBX but worth the drive! Then again with access to kayaks, a canoe and a small beach we could have just as happily never left the property. Gorgeous views, plenty of privacy. Really a rare gem. On the practical side, I was a little nervous the listing said not hot water- but that’s only the sink, the outdoor shower (very private) does indeed have hot water. We were lucky enough to stay during some cooler summer evenings- I would recommend turning off the AC and opening the windows at night. The breeze was paradise! Craig is an obvious super host: friendly and responsive. Would gladly stay again!

The view the view the view! Listen to the beach your whole trip from your balcony. Comfortable, clean, convenient location, private and quiet! Excellent unit! We travel a lot and this was our favorite vacation spot ever!

We absolutely loved our week at Anne’s condo. It was not only beautifully decorated, but also very cozy and comfortable. Our favorite place to hang out was on the deck overlooking the beach and pool. The kitchen was amazing. Everything we needed was right there. The beds were so comfortable. Anne was extremely helpful in every way. She answered all my questions and provided lots of great helpful hints about where to visit and eat. It was an awesome first visit to Ocean Isle Beach and definitely not our last.

Beautiful condo- clean, well stocked and comfy beds. We loved having the option to go back and forth from beach to pool, so everyone was happy!! The storage closet has everything you need for a great beach day. Loved sitting on the deck every morning and night. The host was super responsive and gave great instructions and recommendations on the area. Already planning our trip for next year!! Great place for families!! Thank you!!

Second time staying and won’t be the last! Always nice to stay at pebble beach. Megan’s place has just enough room for the two of us. We love the pool and proximity to the beach.

Denise has thought of everything. Her condo is absolutely perfect, a very private and peaceful place. The pictures are accurate and in person it’s even better. My best friend and I have been going on beach trips for 9 years, so we have seen many beach houses. We know what we want and we FINALLY found one we are returning to next year for our 10th to celebrate 40 years of friendship. I can’t think of a better place for it. ♥️ Denise is very detailed with YOUR experience. She has literally thought of all your needs and the home is emasculate. I cannot say enough about this GEM. It was clean, modern, stocked and comfortable. The view was AMAZING. The privacy was incredible. A total reset from “adulting”. I cannot say enough except STAY HERE, STOP LOOKING! We had an amazing time at Blue View! Our group was aged 2 and half to 83, so we have some insight to share. The stairs were difficult to manage for our older family members but we had expected that (hard to find oceanfront ranches!) But the location made it easy for the family to be on the balcony and enjoy watching the grandchild play on both the playground and the beach! The views were impressive, we slept peacefully in comfortable beds to the sound of ocean waves. The home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to feel right at home.

I enjoyed my stay at this residence, especially looking at the Sound from the window and walking to the pier to take pictures of the nearby osprey nest. The place was clean and had what I needed so I could cook on most days. The condo is in a quiet complex, in a nice residential area. I liked that it was on the first floor so I didn’t have to lug my belongings up a bunch of stairs. The place is well set up for families, with a lot of beach toys and equipment in the garage. I would return again if I found myself coming back to OBX.

The condo was clean upon arrival, and the view was amazing! Lisa was very prompt at answering any questions. The balcony was small but still very nice, and the chairs were more comfortable than the normal wooden balcony chairs that have been at other rentals. It was very quiet, you couldn't hear anything from any neighboring condos. I would definitely stay here again if I chose to vacation in Atlantic Beach again.

Amy’s cottage is perfection. This was our third stay at the cottage. It’s always hard to leave! We love how comfortable, clean, and homey it is. We love hearing the sound of the waves, watching dolphins from the deck, runs/ walks along the shore, and reading on the deck. We feel relaxed and restored after our stay. Amy is responsive and helpful. Every inch of the cottage has been thoughtfully designed for comfort and beauty. My husband and I hope to stay at the cottage again. It is truly a magical place.

If you love the beach this is your place!! You really can’t get much closer.The place was clean and stocked with everything you could think off .The outside shower is a game changer for keeping the sand on the beach. We loved sitting on the balcony with our coffee and a perfect view of the ocean .Even though the other half is a separate rental unit it still was very private and never a problem.We discovered Maine Lobster Shack while we there wow!! My husband and I have never stayed at the same place twice, by Wednesday we had decided to book for the following year.Thanks for sharing your home with us . It’s apparent you’ve put a lot of care into it.We love Topsail.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay. The condo was just as described and you couldn’t get any closer to the beach! It is literally short walk from the door and down one flight of stairs! High tide only came all the way up one day of our stay. The beach was gorgeous! Alan was very responsive to the few questions we had and very friendly! The condo is perfect for 2 people! Would highly recommend if you want a place close to the ocean!

This was our second year staying at the Downwinder and once again it was extremely enjoyable! The oceanfront views from the deck and big windows just can't be beat. This house has a great open concept living with unobstructed views of the ocean from the entire main living space and master bedroom. The house is modern and updated, inside and out. We love the deck walkway right from the house, over the dunes and right down to the beach. The shower and foot rinsing faucet at the end of the walkway is super convenient. Absolutely perfect for our family of four! Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves is pure serenity. Do yourself a favor and book this home for your next vacation...you won't regret it!

The 5 of us old high school pals had a stupendous time. Tons of laughter on the deck overlooking the water. Great views! The cottage had everything we needed!

Scooters place is very unique, a peaceful setting and very private, virtually one of a kind. You’re going to love it. It’s warm in the daytime but delightful in the evening and early morning. You’ll hear the sounds of chirping birds and frogs. This is one you don’t wanna miss. There’s just something magical about all those antique surfboards in the loft above you. we are definitely headed back again.

This is our new favorite place to stay on the NC coast! We had a wonderful, relaxing stay with our family and dogs - total 5 star experience!!

Dune Daddy was such a wonderful, memorable experience. The cottage is decorated beautifully and being right on the beach with an outside shower and lovely porch to sit on in the mornings and evenings was such a joy. I highly recommend this rental and hope to return there again in the future!
