Tiny house vacation rentals in North Carolina

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and there was enough space for 2 adults, 2 teens, and 3 small dogs. The screened in porch was a bonus. The view is nice and there is plenty of space between the neighbors so you have your privacy. Maybe not the right time of year for fishing. But it did rain off and on during our stay. Wanda was very nice and communicative. We would definitely stay again!

This cabin is well suited for a weekend getaway. We loved how close the cabin was to the private lake and surrounding trials/hikes and just to give a little heads up some of the surrounding trails/hikes are closed due to hurricane damage. The road up to the cabin is a little demanding, but not impossible. I was able to manage just fine with my sedan. The host was communicative and extremely helpful, he even took the time to come hand us a new paper towel roll when we were running low. We did experience some internet issues, but were able to wait it out and regain connection (Wasn’t the host’s fault). Overall this stay was a 10/10. We will definitely be back for more! Photos don’t do it justice! Cant wait to come back in the fall. Loved the proximity to Pisgah and 10 mins to downtown but also felt secluded.

I stayed here for five nights on a work trip. was really great. cozy, log cabin atmosphere. looks just like the photos. somewhat private. I heard roosters in the morning and a donkey in the evening. I'll stay here again if I return to the area.

This beautiful cottage in a peaceful and well-maintained neighborhood is a jewel! Brenda communicated simply, clearly and promptly which reduced some typical travel stress. The thoughtful amenities she provided were very much appreciated. The place is impeccably clean inside and out. It truly met my needs and expectations for a rejuvenating R & R getaway! (PS- The mattress is very very back-friendly for those with chronic pain issues.)

The Grove was everything my partner and I were looking for. It was beautiful and secluded and nature was in full swing of spring. The cabin at The Grove is a very cozy home to spend time resting after spending hours walking the trails on the property.

The tiny house was comfortable for two adults, and had everything needed for a quiet peaceful vacation. The parklike setting was beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed watching the birds and ducks and listening to the bullfrogs at night. I look forward to staying there again during our next trip to Valdese NC.

We loved our stay! The backyard felt so peaceful and private, yet the beach was just a short walk away. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed the vinyl collection and turntable. The home’s style was super artistic, with beautiful plants and art. The hosts were friendly and helpful — would definitely stay again!

This is a super cute, very quaint cabin and was exactly as described. We especially enjoyed watching the beautiful horse wander around his pasture and come up for treats would highly recommend.

As a Charlotte native, I love finding gems in my city and this was just that! Very beautiful!

Just a weekend getaway with my husband from the kids. We enjoyed every minute. The view was great the privacy of the backyard is warming. The inside is cozy and welcoming. We wished we stayed an extra day. The Wi-Fi was down and the host called and kept us updated. Even tho Wi-Fi was down, that didn't stop us from enjoying nature.

We really enjoyed our stay at Modcabins in Asheville. The cabin was exactly as described. It was clean, the area was private, and it was the perfect get-away-from-home-for-the-weekend experience. We appreciated the amenities like the record player. The hot tub made for relaxing and beautiful views at sunset. We also got to experience a mom and cub black bears exploring the woods in front of the cabin as we were preparing for dinner; it was amazing watching them. We would recommend for anyone looking to stay in a cute little place for two looking for a quiet get-away together.

We stayed at the tiny house for a weekend and it was such a beautiful home. The views were gorgeous and sitting in the hot tub at night under the string lights was incredible. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a private getaway near Asheville!

I cannot put to words how amazing our experience was staying at this wonderful modern cottage in the woods. The house was very clean, great outdoor views and very homey. I would 10/10 recommend staying here to any guest. We are already planning our next visit!

This is the 2nd time we stayed at Brooke’s property. We stayed at his other cottage last Nov and loved the property. We decided to try this property and from the minute you walk in the door, you are wowed by the view! The pictures do not give this place justice. Clean and lovely decor, beautiful view and so peaceful on the balcony! Brooke met us when we got there and was so nice and helpful. Even though there is another cabin behind it, it is faced to be very private. We have family in Charlotte and this is a perfect getaway when we visit! We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! This cabin is cozy, peaceful, and quiet. It offers a great view of a farm, with sheep, ducks, and chickens. The cabin offered good amenities. The bed was comfortable, the space was very clean, check-in and check-out were very easy. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. 20 minute drive to Boone and West Jefferson. Thank you for a great trip and a great place to stay.

This was our first time to North Carolina and was such a wonderful experience. Only regret is that we didn't stay longer! Kathleen is a very thoughtful hostess and provides things you didn't even know you needed! The location and view is just stunning. Wolf Lake is steps from the apartment. It was ideal for floating on tubes, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. If you are looking to get away from most everything but nature while still have a comfortable bed, bathroom and kitchen, this is the place for you. It is Heaven on Earth.

Jason’s place is perfect for a short getaway. You can see the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains while you’re enjoying the outdoor hot tub. The place is small but very well maintained and thoughtfully designed. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our time here. To note for those who are not from this area, there might be some bugs. I recommend bringing bug spray with you. Yet I was able to enjoy the place with a peace of mind despite my serious bug phobia. So it’s absolutely fine for ordinary people. Highly recommend!

My partner and I really really enjoyed this space! it was so quaint and private that we really felt alone up in the mountains. the dome was so absolutely beautiful at night, you can see the shadows of the trees swaying on the inside and it was just so peaceful. the hosts were so responsive and helpful and there was a lot of beauty to take in there, and surrounding areas. we would definitely come back!

New moon cabin was a little slice of heaven. The farm is beautiful, waking up and seeing the birds and the cows gently grazing was so peaceful, and Sarah was an incredible host! Conversational when I reached out and the amenities at the cabin were fantastic. Because of the clear instructions ahead of time I had no issue getting settled into the space. And oh my gosh the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Super fast WiFi, induction stove was great to cook on, great views, great host, great living space. Genuinely couldn’t recommend new moon cabin more strongly, get out into the mountains and spend some time on the farm!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Private Island Stay! We had an unforgettable stay on this beautiful private island in Swansboro. It was just my husband and I with our two dachshunds, and the entire island to ourselves—so dreamy! The home was cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed, plus the linens smelled ahh-mazing! We loved watching the boats go by, kayaking around the island, observing the wildlife and exploring nearby spots like Shark Tooth Island, where we found shells and actual shark teeth! The sunrises and sunsets were stunning, and the ocean breezes made it feel like a peaceful nature retreat, not to mention the hot shower which was pure luxury! Plenty of great spaces to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Close to nearby marinas and other islands, too. Highly recommend—we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Heather and Bob’s Air BnB was beautiful and private. It was the cleanest place I have stayed in and they provided nice treats for us. The local recommendations were great. The communication from Heather and Bob was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.
