Blackwood Mt Bungalow In the Woods with Sauna

JanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The bungalow was a nice place for a personal retreat. The use of space was inspiring. The first day I glamped out on the screened-in porch because I loved being surrounded by all the trees and birdsongs. The sounds of nature were delightful and softened the sounds from I-40. (Wearing my Air Pods greatly reduced the highway noise while on the back deck.) Due to the rainy weather I didn't walk the trail or use the sauna. The compost toilet was a bit out of my comfort zone, but it wasn't a huge issue since I traveled alone. However, I would really have to love someone to share this type of toileting arrangement. Overall, I enjoyed my peaceful stay.

For me this was a great experience! She has a great space to cook in. Her back yard was open and airy. The bed was very comfortable and Kay was quick to respond to my questions. I would definitely look forward to booking again.

Charming home betw. Duke & UNC with wooded trails

MariRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We needed a pet friendly place near our daughter's wedding venue in downtown Durham. We had fun, frenetic days, and it was wonderful to come back to a quiet neighborhood and beautiful home to both relax and reflect. Bill is a very friendly, communicative host, and the surroundings are just beautiful! We would highly recommend this home to anyone needing to be anywhere in the RTP area! Thanks so much for providing this welcoming space for the most wonderful (and emotional) few days we've had in a very long time!!

Luxury Retreat on Farm with Pool, Hot Tub, Fishing

NatashaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Here is the text for the review because I know you don’t wanna do it Natasha 😝 This home was extremely well stocked. The host had thought of everything at this lovely home. Check in was easy. We were welcomed by homemade cookies, eggs from the farm, milk, orange juice, bread and more. The home was very clean. Plenty of towels and the robes in each room was a nice touch! The hosts were very friendly and responsive. My friends brought their three little dogs who also enjoyed the stay while watching the cows, sheep, and goats on the farm!

Beautiful Studio in Heart of Downtown

JeanineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Ellen’s place was the perfect home base for a few days in Durham! Her apartment was even more beautiful and cozy than I imagined, and felt like home. I chose to use the loft bed which is a small space tucked away up some stairs - may not be for everyone but I loved it. The apartment is also right in Downtown Durham and it was easy to find food within walking distance. Finally, Ellen was the perfect host, friendly and responsive. A great spot for solo travelers visiting town!

Calming Woodland Octagon

RhyzauniRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Pavel’s place was super chill—peaceful, spacious, and really cozy. I had a great time there. The whole vibe was like a modern cabin, with a projector for movies, which was awesome. The bathroom had a cool design, and the bookshelves were a great touch. If you're into quiet spots and nature, this place is perfect. Pavel was also helpful and responsive as well.

This was a perfect home-base for me on a recent work/play visit to Durham—quiet and safe neighborhood; tidy, well-appointed kitchen; minimalist but sufficient space in which to read, relax, etc., and short walks to downtown & Duke’s East Campus.

2-BR apt/garden near downtown Durham arts & eats

MichelleRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Stephen is literally THE BEST host I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with on Airbnb! He is friendly, helpful, and fantastic. His place is so inviting and interesting to stay at. Tidbits and cool relics all over his space. And if that alone isn’t enough, his sanctuary of a backyard garden will be what sets his place apart from the rest. His place is now one of my favorite saves that I will definitely try to book again in the future should I ever be in the area.

Apartment in leafy Colonial Village, Durham

MattRating, 5 stars5 days ago
If you're traveling solo, this is an ideal crash pad. It's small and spartan, and you'll need to drive to get anywhere you want to go, but it's clean, comfortable and quiet. There are nice, small touches that lend a homey feel, and the one window AC unit does a good job of cooling the entire place, even when it's above 90 outside. I'll definitely look to stay here again when I pass through Durham.

Peaceful tiny house retreat on 30 acre farm

JoeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a great stay with Emily the place is secluded, relaxing and exactly what I needed at the end of a long week of work and travel. First time staying in a tiny home and I had everything i needed. Really enjoyed the hot tub it might be the best one I have ever been in. This tiny home makes you feel as though you are miles from anywhere in your own little oasis and yet it is conveniently located to get to shops and restaurants. Joe
