Lake houses in White Bear Lake

Our group had a great time and thought the house looked nice and was unique! Mariah was very flexible and responsive!

I stayed in this sweet little bungalow while visiting my son, daughter-in-law and my new baby grand-daughter. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect home base. From the moment I arrived, the place felt like a warm hug. It’s soft, quiet, and full of charm. Everything inside is thoughtfully arranged and fully equipped.—from complete kitchen to a very comfortable bedroom with a king-sized bed and a flat screen tv on the wall. The living space was cozy and inviting, a gorgeous couch with soft blankets and a gentle atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a joyful (and sometimes exhausting!) day of baby cuddles and family time. It was close enough to visit my family each day with ease, but still offered a peaceful space to retreat to and recharge. It truly felt like a little sanctuary. For any family coming to town to be near loved ones, this bungalow is the perfect spot.

Cozy and charming lower level. Beautiful view of the lake - including swans - with a path down the hill to the dock! Easy to get to the highway to go wherever we wanted to. Great recommendations for places to go and to eat.

Lower level has large living room , TV , bedroom and full bath. Upper level has large living room, kitchen w dining table and 3 bedrooms and one full bath. Large deck across the front of the house. Parking for 4 vehicles. Three mile paved walking path around the lake right out the front door. 20 minutes to airport. A great place to stay.

Jane was a wonderful host! she gave clear instructions on how to enter the airbnb and provided plenty of kitchen and bathroom necessities for a full house. it was a cozy place to gather as a family.

Such a lovely place to stay while working in office for the week. Loved the communication and the location was perfection. Really amazing hosts! 10 outta 10! Highly recommend!

The Rose Cottage was perfect for our long weekend getaway. Felt like we were stepping back in time. Beautifully decorated and be sure to take the time to look through the photo books showing the house remodel…amazing! Our family will definitely be back for another fun weekend…maybe in the Fall!

Family of four with a teenage daughter and tween son and we all had an absolute blast. Between the foosball and pool table tournaments, the hot tub and the pedal boats on Locke Lake, we had just as much fun in the house as we did on our local tours and excursions. It could have housed so many more people than us but it also gave us a chance to spread out with our various devices for a break. 😂

It was a wonderful experience and the live was a wonderful host. Definitely want to come back

What a wonderful retreat in Stillwater! There are views from the lake throughout the house. Tall trees and amazing outdoor amenities for all ages to enjoy. The host had great amenities for our infant as well! We’d highly recommend staying here!

The Whimsical Cottage was clean, cozy and comfortable! View of the lake through the wall of sliders was beautiful and peaceful. Hosts communicated clearly and quickly. There is a coffee press but no coffee pot, so if you’re a coffee drinker may want to bring your own. We felt right at home and would definitely recommend!

Kim's guesthouse was somehow even better than we expected! The guesthouse had everything you would need, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor space was beautiful and so peaceful. The neighborhood is beautiful and very walkable. We enjoyed the park and The Kenwood Restaurant, and Lake of the Isles, all very close to the house. Kim and Alfie were responsive and helpful, and we enjoyed meeting them and their family including Millie the dog!

James and Billie Jo’s place was very clean and exactly as described. The convenient location is a short drive from many shops and restaurants. They communicated clearly and even set up a toddler bed for our 2 year old. The accommodations are very spacious.

This was a fantastic cap to our vacation. It was a peaceful and beautiful way to wind down. The river is cool and refreshing. The cottage is cozy and the bathroom is a gorgeous oasis, highly recommend a soak in the tub. Their attention to details is much appreciated; from super comfy linens to nice dimmable lighting they created such ambiance. Scott was super friendly and responsive. We loved hearing about the farm and the space they are creating. What a special place to share! Looking forward to returning when they have music events in the barn.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Lily Lake Retreat. The weather was not on our side for the weekend of our trip, so we got cozy at Allison’s place. The beds were very comfortable, lots of places to relax and wonderful views of the lake with wide panel windows. We enjoyed the sauna and loved the accessibility to downtown. Allison was a kind and incredibly responsive and accommodating host. It made for a perfect bachelorette weekend for my sister! Would definitely stay again.

Sunset Shores is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had found something special. The home is beautifully updated with a clean, modern design that still manages to feel incredibly cozy and welcoming. Every detail has been so thoughtfully considered — it’s clear that Sarah, the hosts, take great pride in offering an exceptional guest experience. The location was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but right on the Mississippi River, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and natural beauty. It was truly lovely to sit out on the deck or in the three-season porch and watch the river go by. The calming sound of the water and the serene surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. I do not have enough space here to write everything I want about how wonderful this home was but I will just say Sarah the host was amazing to work with the houses and location are beautiful and I look very much forward to a future stay here.

The Loons Nest was adorably decorated and equally comfortable! We were greeted with an amazing homemade coffee cake too! If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stay here. I highly recommend to all!

Abby's place was wonderful. We have been traveling to St. Paul for several years to visit our daughter and this is one of the nicest Airbnb we have stayed in. Abby is super responsive and she has very clear instructions that making check in very simple. The apartment is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. This is definitely a place I will return. Very easy to get to and love the off street parking.

Amy was really nice and let us check in early. She is really great at communicating and responds really fast. Her home is really clean and spacious. She even personalized a welcome sign with a snack basket when we got there so the little touches were so generous.

It was cold one night and my kids wanted to have a swim after dark. Samantha's husband came over and turned the heat up on the pool to make sure we could have a swim and create some great memories. Samantha was extremely responsive and flexible with check-in time. Everything was clean and beautiful. They also had nice sound bars and subwoofers on both televisions to make movies on the big TVs that much better. My kids raved about how nice the house was and how much fun they were having. Thanks, Samantha!

This place immediately felt like home when we walked in. There was plenty of space and the kitchen had all of the amenities needed to be able to cook a meal. We really enjoyed the fire pit and making s'mores and roasting hot dogs. Also enjoyed the kayaks we took to the lake a few blocks away. Thank you for everything you've done to make the space like a home away from home.

We were so lucky to find Mary’s place on short notice. Our dogs loved to run in the big fenced-in backyard and we appreciated the quiet neighborhood. We will stay at Mary’s again.

We’ve stayed here many times. The quality is always consistently excellent. It feels like “home away from home.” A special shout out to Lorna who is always so helpful and available. We love coming back to Shoreview.
