Note: the reservation fee does not include consumption of electricity (€0.50/kWh), gas (€5/m3) and the tourist tax (€1/day for each person for the first 5 days) that will be calculated and paid at the end of your stay. The entire property has a maximum capacity of 8 beds, providing its guests with 4 bathrooms, including 2 complete interiors, a wellness area with a Turkish bath, aromatherapy, a large whirlpool tub (overlooking a suggestive rock wall), an emotional shower with chromotherapy and toilets and 1 outdoor bathroom (toilet+sink) with a shower. The exclusive saltwater infinity pool with whirlpool is surrounded by the greenery of the Mediterranean maquis. This oasis of privacy and relaxation has everything you need, including a solarium area, an outdoor shower, and a bathroom. The depth of the pool water meets the legal requirements to ensure maximum safety even for the little ones. There are many furnished outdoor spaces and minimal chic settings that allow guests to have lunch or dinner on a large panoramic terrace shaded by a straw gazebo or to enjoy, as soon as they wake up, a rich outdoor breakfast, in an area equipped right in front of the French window of their bedroom, breathing the scents of the fields, in the intimacy of the early morning light. The housing complex is the result of a very recent renovation of buildings of historical value (the Saracen Trullo with its characteristic white dome is even older than the cone-shaped trullo), in which the skilful recovery of the materials, techniques and canons typical of Apulian architecture and history, have allowed a restoration of interiors and exteriors that maintains a strongly evocative and respectful line of the places, even in the furnishings with light and natural colors, designed with the utmost attention to detail and consisting of unique and original pieces. The charm of the location is unparalleled: the building overlooks a terraced garden characterized by the typical dry stone walls, beyond which it opens, as far as the eye can see, on an area of about 6,000 square meters of exclusive use of the house, a valley of magnificent centuries-old olive trees on red earth. Central East Austin is a diverse and dynamic neighborhood that is just a few minutes from downtown and yet still quiet. In addition to offering of some of Austin's best restaurants and music venues, it also has important history to explore. In the last century, highway 35 was a tool of segregation, with east (of 35) Austin providing a rich community for African Americans. See how this history lives on through a plethora of old and new businesses is this burgeoning neighborhood! There is a parking spot that you are welcome to use directly in front of the house and there is also plenty of street parking with no permitting or street cleaning concerns. The closest B-Cycle station is a 15 minute walk away at Victory Grill on 11th St. Many of the 6th St restaurants and bars are a 10 minute walk as well. If you would prefer not to walk, there are a selection of ride share services such as RideAustin (our favorite), Lyft, or Uber. The street has two names, Hamilton Ave and Richard Overton Ave. Depending on your map source you may see either one pop up. Richard Overton is the oldest living American and American World War II veteran at 112 years of age. He lives down the block where be bought a house after the war ended.
