Vacation rentals with a kayak in Western Australia

Myself and my colleagues came down to Busselton on a business trip and needed a clean comfy nights accommodation. Andreas home was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Andrea left lovely treats for us on the kitchen bench. I will definitely look at returning to Andreas home for future business visits and even look at bringing my family down for a nice getaway. Thanks Andrea for the enjoyable stay.

I had an amazing week's holiday with my dog in this amazing house, stunning location and views, the sunrises were especially fabulous, couch, chairs and bed all super comfy, perfect temperature inside (I was expecting it to be a bit cool end of May but the house was very cleverly built and mostly keeps a nice temperature inside). Visits from colourful parrots and lovely song birds. So peaceful and quiet and a short walk to the very pretty Short Beach. Absolutely recommend spending a whole week to really enjoy the place and fully recharge your batteries!

This is our 3rd stay at Capeview beach resorts but our first in Joshua’s unit. It served our purpose by being close enough to Margaret River. The house is tidy and well maintained with a fully equipped kitchen. A family with kids would find the bikes and kayaks a bonus.

We stayed at Jane's place for an easter holiday with family. It was great for everyone, lots to do on property and close to two for those that did not want to go adventuring too far. Everyone was comfortable and all needs were accommodated for as we have a few that cant do stairs but could access the rooms down stairs.

Lovely spacious home on the canal. Providing all necessities for a comfortable staycation. Enjoyed pleasant walk to coffee shop nearby and short drive to town centre.

The Avalon Beach house is great for families for a quick getaway from Perth. It was so relaxing to wake up to the sound of waves and enjoy sunsets from the balcony. Matt was a great host and provided all the essentials for 2-3 day stay. We enjoyed the beautiful, spacious home and all the amenities in close proximity. Definitely looking forward to a future visit!

We had the best time during our stay here! Moses was so helpful and happy to answer any of my questions about the property/amenities. The house is beautiful and spacious, perfect for bigger groups of people and families. The home owners did an amazing job of making sure everything was communicated clearly, including a booklet with a wealth of information about the home and the local area which is extremely helpful! We cannot thank Moses enough for letting us stay, I highly recommend booking this property if you’re looking for a fun little getaway! (If you’re game, I recommend going out on the kayaks on the lake! it’s so beautiful and peaceful)

Lovely area of WA, so nice to be in nature, feeding the horses was definately a highlight!

Staying at Tanah Merah was truly special. It felt like a luxury home away from home rather than a “hotel or Airbnb”. Beautifully presented and decorated Chalet/Cabin with 2 generous bedrooms and bathrooms with large showers and double sinks. A nice open kitchen/living room in the middle connecting the 2 bedrooms, a private carport and a beautiful outdoor seating area with a view of the lake. It was super relaxing to just enjoy the scenery and our boys loved the paddle boarding, rowing boat, golf and tennis courts! The cheap and dogs was an extra bonus and so were the walking trails. Such a good stay to recharge from the hustle and bustle!

We had a lovely staycay at The Wagon. The place itself was very carefully thought out and had everything you needed and the hot tub was a welcomed highlight! Our dog Eddie felt right at home and was able to roam freely around the property. It truly is a special place to stay :)

We stayed a week at Angela's place and it was so perfect we are returning next month for another 6 nights. We found we could relax so easily there - just watching the wildlife on the lake - the ducks, swans and fish. It is an area were not familiar with - so exploring the interesting walks along the Murray River and the Estuary was amazing. There are some terrific eateries close by and Angela had lots of info about the local attractions, restaurants and pubs with menus. The house was just as described - very comfy with lots and lots of very welcome extras. We took our 14 year old Lakeland Terrier with us and he loved being there - so thank you so much Angela for giving people, and their dogs, the opportunity to be in this fabulous location. Julie

We absolutely loved our stay—it’s a private and peaceful spot right on the lake. The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having access to the kayaks was a great bonus, and we really enjoyed kayaking on the beautiful lake. Only wished we could’ve got a booking when it was warmer weather so we could have gone swimming too. Hopefully next time!

A most peaceful beachside retreat. Walked out just across the quiet road every evening to watch the full moon over the bay which was magical. A perfect location for exploring the Margaret River region! Very well equipped kitchen which had everything we need. Loved the upstairs living room looking out into the trees and the private garden. Very restful and well designed, well thought out space.

We loved our stay at this cute A Frame home. Felt right at home with pretty much everything supplied that was needed. I actually took more than needed because I didn't know certain things would already be there! Being able to take our 4 month old pup with us was an absolute bonus and he had a great time too. We wished we could've stayed longer. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely place and hopefully enjoy another stay some time in the future.

Las Casitas No. 1 was a very comfortable, peaceful, and clean cabin with beautiful surrounds. We really appreciated the welcome gift of Eggs, Wine and other treats and Frida was very helpful throughout our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Coolup cabin. We ran into some initial problems at checkin but Nicola, Simon and their cleaner went above and beyond to make sure we could stay rather than dragging the kids elsewhere as they were so excited for their farmstay! The cabin was cleaned promptly, and a water truck was ordered to fill a tank so we had water during our stay. We were given a refund due to the checkin issues. We had a relaxing time exploring the area, were comfortable and warm especially with the outdoor fireplace! Would highly recommended Nicola and Simons Coolup property as they pride themselves on the care and service they provide to their customers. Thank you Simon and Nicola, we will be back!! Might even bring another family when the new cabin is open for business 😉

Simply stunning! If you love peace, natural beauty and a carefully crafted rustic retreat, this is for you. Spacious living areas and seamless indoor outdoor flow. Lovely bathrooms and kitchen, which was well equipped. The private studio was a treat. Very comfy beds and quality linens. Overall, highly recommended and we are already planning our next stay!

Place was as described and Frida was very helpful and responsive - we had an issue with no hot water on arrival but Frida was available right away via messaging app on Airbnb and came to check out the issue right away and had an on site electrician who rectified the issue within the hour. Very helpful and didn’t bother us at all except when we asked for assistance throughout the duration of the stay. Beautiful property really has made it a place where you can get away and not leave the property only if you want to go out for dinner or get food. Bobo style secluded tent area, private right near a dam with 2 x kayaks available also. Could tell Frida had a clear vision and she created this. Thanks again !
