Vacation rentals with a kayak in West Sussex

We had a lovely long-weekend stay at Jodie’s along with our family, including grandchildren. The house was spacious, very well equipped and comfortable. Our two year old grandson was thrilled with the array of toys: so much so that he wasn’t too keen to go out! But venture out we did - walks along the sea front and into the surrounding countryside, and then cosy evenings back at the house in front of a log fire. Perfect way to spend family time.

We loved our stay at Ocean Springs - could not have been more perfect for all of us, particularly the grandchildren, with the beach and sea at the end of the garden. And to sleep hearing the waves... Wendy was a very proactive host who responded immediately to our queries pre-arrival, and on arrival when there was a minor WiFi glitch (all sorted). You can feel that the house is a much loved family home, rather than a sterile holiday let. Wonderful selection of books, board games, toys - and fossils! Really clean on arrival. Very well equipped kitchen and dining space. Beds very comfortable with good quality linen and towels. A huge bonus is both the conservatory area with bins full of beach toys/games and flip flops, and the garage with kayak, body boards and, for the one wet afternoon we had, a table tennis table and pool table. Local Co-op only 8 minute walk. Excellent butcher, fishmonger etc at East Wittering. A great house for a relaxing beach holiday.

We had a great family break at Lance's. So convenient to get to the beaches in the area and having a pool on site made the lazy days fun. Lance was very helpful and responsive when we needed him. We had everything we needed for our stay. A great staycation!

A lovely house, fabulous spacious kitchen for family gatherings and a super sitting room on the top floor with amazing views. No en suites but a bathroom on the ground floor and the middle (bedroom) floor were enough for us 6. Wonderful location with constantly changing views as the tide rises and falls, we loved the area and the local walks. Many thanks Maggie and Andrew!

What a great find! We were a family group of 9 including 2 young children, the house was definitely big enough to accommodate us all with spacious rooms, a stunning kitchen area, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean bathrooms/en suite. The kids enjoyed all the games on offer, especially the ping pong table. Tony was a real hit too. Susie is a great host, offering great local advice/recommendations and was so kind to allow us an early check-in. We had 3 cars with our party but only permits for 2 cars however Susie's lovely neighbour happened to be around when we were deciding what to do with the 3rd car and offered us some of her additional permits for a small amount of money, this allowed us to all be parked outside the property with no concern about moving the cars, it really was a bonus. I would recommend this lovely house to any large group, close to beach and shops and Brighton town centre.

We had a wonderful Christmas at Gillian’s house. The property is very spacious with plenty of room. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and the en-suites are a real luxury. The kitchen is well equipped and from the sitting room the views are amazing. Gillian had provided house games and delightful Christmas table decorations. She also installed a Christmas tree. Debbie was very helpful and responses very quick. A very successful holiday was enjoyed by all. Thankyou.

This is our second time staying at Amanda's beautiful cottage and we will continue to come back as long as she'll have us. It's spacious, comfortable, is in a great location, and has plenty of parking nearby. Everything is walkable from her place and it is super easy to get to. There are sights, a grocery, and plenty of shopping and dining nearby. As for the place, the kitchen is perfectly appointed, beds are very comfortable and Amanda was even nice enough to leave us a welcome gift in the refrigerator! Thank you! Communication is perfect every step of the way and the unit is super easy to get into. We love coming to Arundel and will be back! Thank you for another amazing stay, Amanda. Hope to see you / the cottage next year.

A great place to come and stay easy to find really good.Carol was a amazing host very welcoming from start to finish and very helpful though out are stay. Very comfy beds loads of choices for breakfast. Will definitely stay again in the future.

A lovely place to stay. Nathalie was really friendly and welcoming. This cottage was like home from home, exactly as described. My kids loved the trampoline and Louis the dog.
