Vacation rentals with lake access in Waynesville

The view of the lake from the large back porch was awesome. A peaceful place to relax and explore the lake on the canoes provided. There was a green egg on site for cooking dinner. I’d highly recommend this location!

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

This is a lovely spacious home with everything you could possibly need. It is nestled in the woods and is quiet and peaceful. We had room for our family to spread out with lots of space to relax. We would love to come again!

I enjoyed this place 100%. Clean space, some privacy, extremely peaceful. Matt was super proactive in letting us know of the current events that could affect our stay, such as open fire bans. so therefore we could not use the fire pit. However, We enjoyed the scenery, the hot tub, the grill and other outside adventures. I would highly recommend staying here & I would definitely book with Matt again during a different season!

Beautiful, secluded location. Perfect ti get away from it all. Make sure you bring anything you need with you, the closest town is 25 min away. Great hiking nearby.

This vacation involved checking out the area for an upcoming wedding. For the house, we wanted lots of space in the house and easy parking, bathrooms for each family group, family space to hang out, easy walking, and of course access to the lake. All of these happened plus great porch space with the firepit and also the outdoor firepit. The stairs to the lake provided a work out and planning for the day. That is the only consideration for others to be aware of, is if they have a family member that has issues with stairs. The area is beautiful and exactly what we hoped for and this home with the easy contact for any issues or questions made it a great week!

Beautiful home, that matched the pictures exactly. We were here just to unplug, as the weather was too cold to enjoy the lake, and the house was perfect for that. Gorgeous fireplaces, wonderful views, and a library of awesome books. My favorite part of the house were the windows that lined the entire top of the home. At night, we could see the stars while lying in bed. Very neat. I would definitely recommend this house.

We absolutely enjoyed your place! Sharon and Anna were excellent host and very supportive! The apartment lacked nothing! It was so peaceful and relaxing! We loved the trail around the whole lake and walked it each day! The location is very convenient to anything you would like to do in the mountains! This was such a lovely Airbnb! Squeaky clean, walkable to beautiful Lake Junaluska and just a few minutes to hiking and downtown Waynesville. You can really tell Steve and Susie want their guests to have a five star stay with so many thoughtful touches such as bottled water, coffee, tea, half and half, biscotti’s card games and an abundance of books and guides about the area. There was a private table and chairs outside for a glass of wine or a meal which we loved and the bed was so comfortable. Great location - a very short walk to the lakeside trail. We had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Alice and Philip were very responsive.

Lesley's place was clean and comfortable. Lesley is a good communicator and our needs were met with clear instructions. Beautiful area!

Comfortable beds, great spacious shower, and gorgeous balcony with a view over the creek. Relaxing and comfortable place to stay.

The space was bigger than we expected and works out really well for our needs. The host was very responsive and helpful. There is a 3 ring binder with all the info about the area.

This is a great spot for a family of four. The beds were comfortable. The space was big enough to spread out a little bit. The view from the deck is great as well. If you don't mind being 30 minutes away, this is a great place to stay while visiting Asheville. It's about an hour from Looking Glass Falls too. It's also a beautiful drive to the Tail of the Dragon from here. If you're coming from Raleigh this makes for a much shorter drive home after spending a day driving near the Dragon.

The condo is great! Lots of games, comfortable furniture, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and great location! As a family of five we had plenty of space in this cozy condo. We hope to be back in the summertime!

this home is quaint. It is tucked away in a hidden neighborhood. there is a creek at the edge of the yard. once summer comes will be lovely and refreshing to wade in. The property was clean and had everything if you plan on cooking even a juicer!! Bonus for on site laundry and hot tub.

The cottage is easy to find and has great access to the lake. We walked on the walking path every afternoon during our stay. The cottage has great amenities and is a great value. The location is within 5-10 minutes of almost all restaurants/shopping you could need during your stay. Highly recommend.

Can't say enough about my stay and how lovely Sarabeth was. The cottage was truly beautiful (the art work, design, furnishings). Every detail was thought of. It was the perfect getaway in stunning surroundings. Sarabeth and her family were so warm and responsive whenever I had questions. I felt truly welcome. It's a very special place and I can't wait to go back.

Thank you for letting us stay. it was wonderful being able to have our two dogs with us. Bed was comfortable and and there was ample room for our two 18 year olds. The hot tub was clean and warm! Used it every day. Only thing I would not, and this doesn't take away from the review or rating, is the pond wasn't quite the view we thought it would be and there were more lizards than fish. nothing the host can control. Just something to note depending on the expectations of the guest and what they are looking for. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Cameron's place was perfect for our one-night visit to Cashiers, NC. Communication was excellent and the check in/check out process was very simple. The room was as described.

Absolutely loved it here! Beautiful house and private surrounding area, it was a great getaway. Owners were very friendly and great at communicating. Would stay again!

Wonderful stay at the happy red cabin! It’s a special place perfect for unwinding and unplugging. The town of Saluda has excellent food and lots of nature around to explore. The cabin is comfortable and clean, also private and quiet. We will definitely return!
