Vacation rentals with lake access in Waynesville

My husband and I have visited Black Mountain several times and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed. We have two dogs we travel with so having enough space and a yard are important to us. Sheryl’s place was just perfect and checked all our boxes. We loved the dog friendly separate living room and how large the fenced i. backyard is. Both the front and back patio areas were perfect and so peaceful. Lake Tomahawk is less than five minutes walking, downtown is a quick four minute drive with plenty of free parking, we visited several nearby trails and also drove up to Asheville with ease. We’ve already booked a trip back for the fall and can’t wait to visit again!

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

Linda is an amazing host and one of the most proactive communicators I’ve ever rented from. Her place is lovely clean and easy to get to would definitely rent from Linda and the space again.

The lake house was even better than the pictures. The property grounds were beautiful and an easy walk down to the dock. Our kids had the best time swimming from the dock and kayaking in the cove. We brought our boat and I really appreciated the nice fendering on the dock. We would love to stay at Phillips house again in the future.

This is a lovely spacious home with everything you could possibly need. It is nestled in the woods and is quiet and peaceful. We had room for our family to spread out with lots of space to relax. We would love to come again!

We had a wonderful time at Harmony House. It has a great floorplan for families and the hot tub was a big hit. They really keep the hot tub nice and clean and it was great for a group chill out after a big day of activities. It is super private and well thought out for all the things you would need while in a Airbnb. They even had this cool "Atari" game that all my brothers had a great time playing and really brought everyone together. Just a precious time we will cherish. Thanks so much! Lovely home and location! The privacy of this place was just what we needed! We enjoyed the views of the lake, the comfortable bed, comfortable couches, stocked kitchen. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay. Our dogs love laying on the porch with the sliding glass door open. Very peaceful!

Wonderful experience! I had several questions, and they were Extremely quick with their responses. They were very accommodating hosts. We were very comfortable in their home, and the scenery was amazing! The kitchen was very well stocked. It was also nice having body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and laundry detergent available, so we didn’t have to pack those, or buy them there.

Perfect spot for a night stay to see family. Very comfortable and spacious for a studio, perfect for what we needed surrounded by beautiful views. We will definitely look for their listing again when we are back in town.

This is a great spot for a family of four. The beds were comfortable. The space was big enough to spread out a little bit. The view from the deck is great as well. If you don't mind being 30 minutes away, this is a great place to stay while visiting Asheville. It's about an hour from Looking Glass Falls too. It's also a beautiful drive to the Tail of the Dragon from here. If you're coming from Raleigh this makes for a much shorter drive home after spending a day driving near the Dragon.

I stayed at Leslie’s place for several days and definitely enjoyed being there. Her place was very cute and clean and perfect for one to two people. Love that I was allowed to have my dog with me which made it super special. Would definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

We had a great stay at Paul’s place! Very easy to find and he allowed us to check in early. The only complaint would be that the dryer does not dry quickly and you have to dry your clothes several times. Other than that everything was absolutely great!

By far the best airbnb host we’ve ever had super fast to respond to questions and the accommodations were better than described. Beds were absolutely marvelous woke up every morning feeling better than new. This airbnb is a nature lovers dream. Highly recommend Sandy and the unit

This was our second time staying with Karen and Katie in Saluda! The property is beautiful and the cabin so welcoming. It really is the most perfect place to escape to for a few days!

This is absolutely the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I love to fish and the pond didn’t disappoint, caught bass, catfish and bluegill, it was a blast. It was so quiet and we really enjoyed the space by the pond. The home was immaculate!! We are already planning another trip to go back.

this home is quaint. It is tucked away in a hidden neighborhood. there is a creek at the edge of the yard. once summer comes will be lovely and refreshing to wade in. The property was clean and had everything if you plan on cooking even a juicer!! Bonus for on site laundry and hot tub.

Can't say enough about my stay and how lovely Sarabeth was. The cottage was truly beautiful (the art work, design, furnishings). Every detail was thought of. It was the perfect getaway in stunning surroundings. Sarabeth and her family were so warm and responsive whenever I had questions. I felt truly welcome. It's a very special place and I can't wait to go back.

Cute, cozy, felt right at home! The screened in porch and hot tub were an added bonus that we truly enjoyed.

Sylvie’s home was beautiful, filled with details that made it both functional and homey (eg, a full spice rack, and even lotion). We loved our stay and they even let us extend it for a reasonable fee. The location is amazing — tucked away with privacy, but very easy to get to all the beautiful attractions in the area. Wonderful stay at the happy red cabin! It’s a special place perfect for unwinding and unplugging. The town of Saluda has excellent food and lots of nature around to explore. The cabin is comfortable and clean, also private and quiet. We will definitely return!
