I cannot recommend this place enough!! First off the privacy and the view was spectacular. We were greeted by the cutest dogs! We were able to rest and enjoy the fire pit while lying on the hammock. And the host took us around to see his goats, horses and dogs! It was so enjoyable! I will recommend it to anyone who needs to escape from the city life!

Clark and Mary Kay are the coolest people you'll meet. They make you feel welcome and treat you like you've been friends for years. I would recommend this place 10/10! thanks for a great time guys!

We enjoyed our stay at the chalet! The hosts were very responsive and checked in to make sure we had everything that we needed. It is in a peaceful location and I enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning and being surrounded by trees. It is in a good central location and is not far from Boone, Blowing Rock, and the Blue Ridge Parkway and is located close to great hiking and picnic spots. The chalet itself was clean, cozy, and offered a great space for relaxing. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again!

Walter gave us an amazing place to stay for our anniversary weekend. Very secluded and private, which is something we were looking for. We felt right at home when we walked in and wish we could take this cabin back home. Everything was very tidy, well organized and we didn’t have to go looking for anything. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because it rained a majority of the weekend, which we were bummed about, but that didn’t stop us from sitting outside and listening to the sound of the river, rain and frogs. Very peaceful! Being so close to the river it made it very easy and quick to run down and throw a few casts in the river. Thank you Walter for the very comfortable stay. This place is on our list of places to hopefully return to!

Came down to Trail Days in Damascus Virginia with my wife and two kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend!

the Grove is a beautiful retreat inthe peace of the mountians. it has everything you need to make a wilderness adventure easy and fun. their is a perfect blend of easy living and wilderness living. make sure to bring some good food! fires are easily made and wildlife will come close in good ways! amazing fireflies! would highly reccomend!

I chose this cabin specifically to celebrate my mother’s birthday, just one week to the day before the WNC floods. She was just awe struck the whole weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Nestled beside a tranquil brook, this cozy cabin is the perfect retreat for those looking to unplug and unwind… or use as a home base as you see all the sights around it! Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a serene escape with the soothing sound of running water that beckons you to relax. It has two patios overlooking the beautiful river below so you can sit and enjoy. The cabin's rustic charm is complemented by modern amenities, making it a seamless blend of comfort and nature. This hidden gem is a sanctuary of peace! The only con I can imagine is the master bathroom is very petite, but there is a second, larger bathroom.

This was a nice one night stay for my sister and me.

Our hosts made the stay so relaxing and communication was lovely. The views at the airstream were amazing, whether relaxing in the hot tub or lying down at night in the airstream. We got to decorate rocks with paint during a rainstorm which felt like such a magical added touch! My husband and I truly love the experiences Airbnbs like these have given us.

When I made the reservation I didn't realize it was located right next to a road but that didn't prove to be a concern. There was very little traffic and the deck and large windows faced away from the road and toward the beautiful view shown in the description. The hosts communicated proactively but not intrusively and the expectations for check-in and check-out were clearly written. The GPS directions were passable but it was very helpful to have received the directions from the hosts in advance which provided several alternatives to roads that were still impacted from storm damage.

Connie’s place a hidden gem and we adored staying here. It is the coolest “glamping” experience ever and my spouse and I will definitely be coming back for a longer stay!

We had an awesome stay as a family of 4 with two small kids at Janet’s tiny home. Everything was perfect for our stay. The place was clean and very well stocked with everything we could want and need. Janet was responsive and checked on us to make sure we got in okay and to see if we needed anything during our stay. Very close location for the festival in town, and nearby to family we were visiting. A must-return spot for our next visit to Boone!

We absolutely loved staying here!! The views into the woods were phenomenal and the deck feels very private. The interior is very cozy and the aesthetic is gorgeous. I took a bath and the tub was perfect - there are even epsom salts and mineral oils at both tubs. The driveway is fairly steep, but there was enough room at the top of the driveway to park our Prius V. The steps inside are also a bit steep, but if you have someone in your group who isn't comfortable with them, there's a bedroom and full bath on the main level so no need to go upstairs at all. We found the steps to be really fun! We slept in the upstairs bedroom, and if you leave the curtains open, you'll wake up to a beautiful sunrise through the trees. We didn't try out the wood stove since the weather was so warm during our visit, but I imagine it's wonderful to use in the winter. The host is very kind and responsive. If you're looking for a cozy getaway, I highly recommend this place!! :)

This was our most favorite place to stay of all-time. This is a perfect tiny home situated in the perfect location. The house was extremely clean, bright and cheery, and I had so much fun with admiring all of the thoughtful detail work that went into building this perfect tiny house. The mattress is perfectly comfortable, and I loved having the ability to open the window right next to my head and being able to hear the river at night. While sitting on the front deck...there was little or no car traffic...and so enjoyed to waving to the bikers, walkers, as well as the canoers on the river. Can't thank you enough Melissa for the incredible experience. We will be back :-)

We had a great week at Pie in the Sky. The views are spectacular and the home is welcoming. Although there are other homes nearby, the neighborhood feels so peaceful. We enjoyed quiet mornings and evenings on the deck. Options for daytime activities are plentiful in the surrounding area. (Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, Linville, Asheville) Corinne was very responsive with any questions that we had. Any issues that we had were quickly resolved. The home was well appointed with everything we needed to settle in and make the week easy. We picked up groceries at Lowes - a short drive west. The hot tub was so nice after a long day of hiking. My kids loved the separate lounge area and the cabinet of games. We would love to stay here again.

Lani was an exceptional host and made my sisters and I feel right at home. When we arrived she showed us to the house so we wouldn’t get lost, made sure we had everything we needed, and was incredibly friendly our entire stay. We spent lots of time soaking in the sun and the view on the deck. This was the perfect little getaway!

The Birdhouse was everything we imaged and more for our weekend getaway. It was exactly as pictured and nothing less. The birdhouse was clean and cozy. Food and attractions were within miles of the place. Host were extremely receptive to messages. It was truly a home away from home. We would definitely be back.

The location was a perfect peaceful getaway! A comfy and cozy place to come back to after a long day of hiking and exploring the scenery nearby! So sad to leave but excited to be back in the future!

Very cute tiny house but not as secluded as I expected. I definitely would have went in the hot tub except it was visible to the two houses down the hill. I know this area has lost many trees but the privacy fence that is behind the tub, which backs to a road which is barely used. A solution should be considered for more privacy. Other than that, the house was perfect for me (I traveled alone). I loved the decks and outdoor areas, and was grateful for ice in the freezer. It’s close enough to Boone, yet away from all the hustle. Make sure to read the instructions on how to get there (I didn’t because I was sent so many messages it was overwhelming), so you don’t pull into the wrong driveway like I did.

This was the perfect space to relax and rewind. The private balcony, cozy fireplace, and view of the mountain made us want to stay forever. Eric was extremely helpful and friendly. He responded asap - couldn’t ask for a better experience.

We had a wonderful time. The location was convenient to everything and the place had everything we needed. It was clean and decorated nicely. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was definitely like something we never experienced, we had lots of laughs, it’s very peaceful and definitely tiny. We didn’t go anywhere but still enjoyed just spending all day outside in the screen area. I would definitely recommend having a get away here!

Totally great spot with amazing views from all around the house really. Both beds are super comfortable and we loved being able to bring our pup along! Dana was great and always super responsive pretty much right away. We enjoyed the hot tub every night of our stay! Can’t wait to come back as we were sad leaving this morning.

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin. Waking up to the amazing view in the morning, and snuggling into the comfy leather furniture and ultimately the comfortable beds at the end of the day made it the perfect home base for our mountain vacation. The host was super responsive with my questions before and during our stay. I really liked that they didn’t have lots of required items to do at checkout. Highly recommend!
